@@jaschabull2365 I'm an entomologist and when we name things we either name them for a feature like in the species name where latin roots are used to make the name, or the name of someone (not yourself though, that's a no-no) a place or a thing (ex: "Psalmopoeus cambridgei" where the species is named for Cambridge University). In this case however, I think it's describing the presence of autapomorphic palpal urticating hairs.

in my experience with Ephebopus genus, they really like to have some substrate to burrow, but also! a plant to make a funnel web on. my E uatuman made a funnel web in the corner of it's enclosure and burrowed below. and my E cyanognathus made a funnel web but didn't burrow at all xD. so, i wouldn't put as much substrate in the smaller enclosure.
    just in my personal experience!

E cyanognathuses are so pretty little spiders when I got mine its only small like the size of your small one I put it in a normal fossorial tub w/ starter burrow etc but it climbed to the very top and webbed up in the top corner attached to the lid. So i asked some ppl and I found out that they can decide to live like arboreals when they are small slings and often dont burrow until they are bigger juveniles. which i thought was really weird bcus its usually the other way round, like aroboreal spiders might burrow when theyre slings. but it is exactly what mine has done, I re did its enclosure so it still could burrow if it wanted but I also put a tall piece of cork in like I would for an arboreal and it chose the cork and is still up there.

I have two of these slings! Both lived arboreally at the top of their cork bark! Then I accidentally knocked one of the enclosures over and it loosened up all the substrate and before I got around to resetting it he burrowed! Obviously I made sure he was ok first lol! But now he is happily a burrowing spider lol but the other one is still living just below the lid on it’s web on the corkbark! I need to rehouse my C paganus as he’s had an out break of mould in the last two days and I’m not looking forward to it lol but think I will have to use the flooding method as his burrow goes down one corner and the substrate is right to the top so I think flooding is my only option!

Such amazing Tarantulas. I love the green booty too. The sling wow thats so tiny.
Tarantula Cribs does such a fantastic job with enclosures. That little enclosure with that magnetic lid is reallybrilliant. As of course is the bigger ones. Really lovely looking .
And i really like the way you decorated the bigger ones home. If i was that T. I would like it alot.
The dinosaur skull is a Icyothasauraus. Triceratops didnt have big teeth like that (i know Trikes are by far my fav. Species of Dinosaurs) . Those teeth are meat eating teeth or arr supposed to be amyway. Triceratops were vegetarians. And it dosent have the noticeably big neck frills all triks have. Sorry im 47 and im still mad about dinosaurs. And am female. Some things i guess you never grow out of. Like loving tarantualas. Loved them since i was 10 and saw my first one at a pet shop... Still wish i could have got it. It was a Chako Golden Knee. Years later and now i have 2 Chakos of my owm. Theyre just so gorgeous.
Thanks for the video as always Kat.
    Keep safe and stay well.
Love from the uk as always.
