wow! Im astounded by your wisdom, I was really leaning towards calvanism, but I think you've changed my mind. Your the first person that makes this understanding sounds logical. Thank you for helping me to understand the perspective i was brought up with.

Paul, you have to slow down brother! you don't want to destroy 2000 years of calvinist doctrine in one sitting do you? Do you know how many tons of literature you just proved obsolete? Think of how many millions (literally) of hours and pages of theological conjecture have just been put to shame? Wow God really does use babes to silence the wise. Bless you Paul.

This made me think: If God predetermined everything, my life seems to become entirely meaningless because God "made us for a relationship" yet this life would be a relationship with Himself. He's already got that in the Trinity... therefore, I'm pointless and may as well not exist. I literrally sat here and thought, "Is this life a personal illusion and once you figure that out you get to leave? I sure as heck would want to." A MOBIUS OF INFINITE SELFISHNESS! It literally made me feel sick.

Its an amazing thing to hear Arminians say "we do not detract from God's glory," and "we don't save ourselves," then a few minutes later, "I appointed myself to eternal life."

Thank you for this. I have had these understanding of the bible, so the Calvinist view has kind of irritated me some. So, I thank you for putting this out to educated people on what is bible truth and human philosophy of the bible.

thx very much for sharing/i shared it with my calvy friends. at 30:48 is why i went back to ch. history and became an anabaptist ''the 3rd way''. mennonites only want to see old test. thru Jesus eyes, to follow him, make him the centre -not calv. philosophy / man's doctrine. they said they'd rather have an uneducated person with GOD'S SPIRIT educated one with out the Spirit of God in them. i say the 100 men that made ''westm. conf. '' could be unsaved. look at calv 1 x talk about his conversion

nearly 2000 if you want to include the Marcionites, Valentinians, Ophites, Cerinthus, Basilides, Sethites, and similar groups who fought bitterly against the Ante-Nicene Fathers.

Okay Tim, what if God told You that you were one of the ones he created for damnation? What if He created your daughter for damnation. What if he created your whole family for damnation? You, your family, and the rest of your seeds were created for damnation... Tim, do you seriously think that God would do that? Brother, go into your room and pray for wisdom and His Spirit. God is Love Tim, not damnation. He is also Just & all will be paid accordingly in the end, DIVINE ACCOUNTABILITY

i will admit that this is one of the better arguments against the doctrine of grace AKA calvinism, but nevertheless its plagued with errors. one of them is God choosing israel to redeem the world. God chose Jesus to redeem the world. He chose israel to be His redeemed people. also, the point of paul's letters was not to emphasize unity of jews and gentiles, they were to emphasize justification apart from the law. these are both critical errors to this argument.

Arminians still must answer the same questions Calvinists do.If God is all knowing and all powerful, then He indeed intended to create men,to be sheep and Goats long before He created them individually. From God's perspective nothing is made to be "potential",God deals in certainties. So God freely, and with full knowledge created men to save and men to damn.Men who God will damn were created for this very reason or God wouldn't have created them, if they didn't fit His purposes why create them?.

He so easily points to a mistake of the writer or assuming a bad translation but it was written in Greek so is he saying Luke who wrote acts didn't know what he was saying or God made a mistake. Please explain This is about Acts 13:48

Do they have a choice according to you? Or were they preordained by God to say that?
