    In Jewish thought, a name is not merely an arbitrary designation, a random combination of sounds. In our modern western culture, names do little more than distinguish this person from that person. Yet, in Jewish culture a name conveys the nature and essence of the thing named. The lover says, “Your name is poured out like perfume” (SOS 1:3). A name is not just a trivial label in Jewish thinking, it represents the history, reputation, fragrance and power of the being named.
    God could have remained anonymous. He could have said stayed hidden in darkness, shrouded in mystery but from the very beginning God wanted to be known. He made His name known to beings whose names could never match His in power, worth, or authority.
    Knowing God’s names is critical to our comprehension and application of the strength and victory that come through His multidimensional nature. God wants us to come face-to-face with His power and majesty. In fact, throughout the Bible, when God revealed a new aspect of His character to His people, He often did this by revealing a new name. God had a name to meet the need of any situation ancient Israel may have come up against. Not just them, but whatever our present situation, God has a name that fits it.
    William Sanford LaSor says, “To learn a person’s name is to enter into a relationship with his very being.” My hope is that through this series of messages, you will be introduced to God as if for the first time- through His names. You will come to know Him in ways you haven’t previously known. My hope isn’t merely that you will learn how to pronounce some of His names, but rather that His name will be like perfume poured out before you. When you identify and understand which name relates to your particular situation, you will be able to connect with God’s power to deliver you in that situation.

    PART 1 - EL SHADDAI
    Song of Solomon 1:3, 13; Exodus 6:3; Genesis 17:1, 3, 15-21; 49:25; Isaiah 66:12-13; Ephesians 3:20-21; Ruth 1:20-21; 4:16-17
    Rabbi Michael Vowell
    It is El Shaddai who overrules your insufficiency with His sufficiency. He sustains life, who pours divine life into barren souls and creates abundant fruit. It is El Shaddai’s work to make that which was once desolated into a fruitful land, to turn hopeless into hope, to turn bareness into new life. It is El Shaddai’s joy to comfort all who are down trodden, discouraged, waiting for promises. It is El Shaddai’s who causes the light to shine forth on the dark horizons just beyond where all hope seemed lost, El Shaddai shows hope has just begun. To encounter El Shaddai is to encounter the inexhaustible stores of His bounty, of the riches and fullness of His grace in self-sacrificing love pouring itself out for others. El Shaddai never wearies of pouring His mercies and blessings upon His people.

    Never fails with these kind of videos, each time I listen to a video I think that's it they made their God so small there is no way someone can make him even smaller, but alas this guy just did. So God looks with indifference to millions of children die from hunger and disease every year but willing to stand guard your house because you pray and put a mezouzah at your door. Wowwww

    Random question if you please. Would it be wrong for me as a Christian to keep a gift of hamsa from a Jewish friend, from Israel? I read it's to bring luck and since I'm not superstitious, I'm wondering. Thanks a lot!

    • @fleetwd1
      @fleetwd1  Год назад +1

      I am not Michael the speaker. I doubt there is anything wrong with appreciating this gift. i am not superstitious either the five represent five fingers in the hand of God. Five also is the number associated with grace. Enjoy your gift from friends wishing you God's blessed keeping through His hand...

    I have a couple of serious questions I'm new on my journey so hopefully someone here can help me.
    So when we pray we can pray to El Shadai??? Hopefully that's the correct
    Is the Messiah's name Yahusha??
    I recently heard the name Yahweh is the name of Satan from the old testament it's not the Almighty God's name. Is this true??
    Thank you

    • @fleetwd1
      @fleetwd1  Год назад +1

      Yahusha is an attempt to pronounce the Hebrew name for Israel's God (YHWH) which has no vowels and Jewish people stopped pronouncing it.
      Yahusha is one of many ways to attempt saying Jesus' Hebrew name. the English equivalent is Joshua.
      Some believe if you pronounce YHWH or Yahusha correctly you unlock secret power. This is a false notion. the power in these names result from the deeds accomplished by them which is a Hebrew understanding based in God's word. wherever Hebrew Scripture speaks of power in the name of the LORD. (LORD in caps stands for YHWH) there is always a long list of accomplishments. Creation, Redemption from Egypt, just to name a few. The deeds rather than proper pronunciation hold the power in the name.
      there is no reason to think it wrong to pray to El Shadai

    I am the Prophet Naziyr,
    Baal (lord, god, etc.) is a pagan god who wanted to be like Yahweh mentioned in Isaiah 14:12-14. Yahweh is a ancient name - meaning since the beginning of the very first man as "YAH is WE" not the "I am that I am" or "YHWH" or what have you. Since Israel didn’t know what it meant until Moses arrived on the scene, but Israel was a rebellious nation who continued to serve mysterious gods (I am that I am; means they don't know his name; or they can apply it to any false god like Jehovah, Yahawah, Yahawashi, Yeshua, Jesus, Isa, Allah, God, etc). It was only then that Moses begin to explain that "Yahweh" was the God of the book of Genesis 2:47. Man has lost the anicent knowledge due to their rebellious nature. YHWH was said to have the characteristics of "Baal" the weather god, and not "Yahweh" the God inside us all, who we now know once again, thanks to Yahweh sending us the end-times prophet "Naziyr" devoted one to Yahweh, with correction. "Yahweh Saves!"

    two of these names are plural title names and the original text kinda means something diff now as we are aaware of more ancient meanings right? so jewish/hebrew stuff cant be the way it is and im starting to think the books of moses are from aliens or super intelligent beings from not earth that taught human and jesus was from the actual god and told people who believed in the wrong thing that he needed to establish a new cov to make things right....ancient alien stuff makes the most sense but i am Christian

    Is God also known as Yahuah??

    • @fleetwd1
      @fleetwd1  Год назад

      see my other reply for more. Yahuah is an attempt, one of many, to pronounce the Hebrew name that has a English equivalent as Joshua. the name has a meaning YHWH saves. Jesus is a Greek equivalent to the Hebrew name.

    in gen god makes a reference that he is with other gods tho...right...he says things like let us, we, our, a lot of plural more than one type words...The Pentateuch might be wrong and just an interpretation from much much earlier texts...like super beings from another place...follow christ....Sheryl asked me something one day that caused me to look at it from a certain off earth perspective and the way the world leaders, not presidents the real leaders, the ones who play chess with the countries and maybe the top 11 or 12 or 13 people, rule and need us appressed,,,keep us believing this stuff in this video so everything stays as constant and consistent as possible but i really think hebrew stuff is wrong..jesus needed to correct things...you are not smart if u dont at least look at it....REMEMBER BEFORE YOU WERE BELIEVING YOUR CURRENT BELIEF, YOU FIRST LISTENED TO SOMEONE ELSE, MAYBE PARENTS, PRIEST, ETC...

      under your belief logic, why would Jesus be more likely as true? I think the New testament is more likely to have been tampered with and Jesus lied about than the old testament/tanakh. There is a serious case of missing early church history from 100-300 AD, and lots of bible translations and manuscripts go back to early 300 AD....right around the Nicene council...which was not a benign church doctrine mtg- it was a state religion mtg. A pagan roman emperor organized that and financially subsidized one church only and then made only one denomination legal....2 roman emperors before that were brtually killing Christians...so I am not sure why Jesus is a more valid belief.

    His people are Israelites. Jews and Israelites are not synonymous. Jews are the descendants of Judah. Some Jews are Israelites but not all jews are Israelites. Joseph was passed the blessing from Abraham...not Judha. This is a huge lie that has been perpetrated by the church. Please read and study your Bible.
