Back in my early days of Nuzlocking Pokemon X, I had to restart around 30 times before I finally beat Diantha. It got to the point where Until Diantha Falls became my montra for continuing. But I finally did it and it felt glorious. Love Nuzlockes.
Sonic Boom really is amazing early game. In normal Black 2 playthroughs, I always make sure I get a Magnemite for Roxie, and it is shocking (heh) just how little she can do against a Magnemite. Thunder Wave into Sonic Boom deals with her whole team. Even on Challenge Mode, she's still pretty easy, apart from, I think, one move on her new Grimer.

Those are some very strong reactions from Ludwig but I don't blame him. I'm doing a nuzlocke on Omega Ruby and I just watched my Dustox somehow tank an explosion from a Wheezing with 25 hp left. I was very emotional at the moment tbh
I took me a while of playing pokemon before I even realized there were two modes. Not hard when you know what pokemon they're choosing before they switch.

randomizer difficulty : there is a dialga with arena trap on route 1
Look at me. I was called to action. I'm an engagement statistic. I've made it.
When you get a Salamance from an "infinite static encounter"
Man, that Salamence crushed PC's hopes and dreams.
Nuzlockes with pseudo/legendary are super-boring.
I guess you didn’t watch PC’s winning renegade plat run w Garchomp and Uxie then...
@@ironbar2009 Romhack Nuzlockes and Standard game Lockes are absolutely not analogous.
@@ironbar2009 Uxie is debatable whether or not it should be banned, I would lean towards no but it’s a tossup. Garchomp should pretty clearly be banned, which he fully acknowledged after the run
It’s boring if you don’t have context, he’d been trying for months to beat this game and it was his 22nd try. He had about 300 people banned including a few of his own friends. Obviously it looks boring but ludwigs content is about being able to make fun of him, not admire his skill.
Depends,
In games like Dark Rising you are expected to have at least 1 pokemon the caliber of the Salamence line,
So it's quite interesting in those games.
But in regular games I 100% agree.
wait, you're telling me there are people that give up on a problem solving exercise after just 20 attempts? the fuck?
...ohhhhh, wait, no, there are _streamers_ and the like that give up after just a couple attempts, that shit actually makes sense: they aren't giving up because they give up they are "giving up" because they don't want their output to go stale, that's totally fair.
seriously though, unless I determine I'm literally just bashing up against an RNG gate waiting until it lets me through it's way harder for me to just drop something than it is for me to stick through it even if we're talking literal years of datamining effort to reach the required skill level and knowledge base. it, uh, it honestly took me a long time to figure out that that isn't how everyone works.
Ludwig's content here made me realize what PChal meant when he said that the niche he fulfills is "poketubers who talk to their viewers like adults" because man, the screaming quickly went from comical to annoying
Edit: In the champion fight, he probably could have just done Nasty Plot when Iris healed on Archeops, then swept the rest of her team
Old comment but this is exactly why I love PChal. I've never watched Ludwig before but I immediately found him extremely grating in this video.
His journalism channel is pretty great. Uses his college degree well
HOLY COW! THAT COMEBACK WAS HELLA SICK! This feels a lot like Jaiden's run, how the Speed EVs came in and helped her a lot.
Loving the react videos, ludwigs run was so fun to watch when it happened
I love to see all the tryhard Nuzlockers who know what theyre doing and then there is just ludwig doing some random shit, betting his ass on RNG most of the time, and still beating the game xD
tbf, looking at this video, he is still more knowledgable than some other casuals out there (seriously, not many casuals know that damage is on a range)
I think smallant has some pretty good resilience. Great video, recently found your channel and I'm loving the Pokemon challenges
im glad lud introduced me to this channel, good vid :)
bro you are literally my favorite pokemon ytber from one night of watching some of these reaction vids, luv ur content and vocabulary hahaha
me: mom, what's the IRS?
my mom: they want our money.
Ludwig is the guy to do everything the wrong way and still complete the nuzlock
Thanks for letting me vicariously enjoy yelling at streamers for their dumb decisions.
