Ludwig's strat of "they will never believe I thought of pre-para, but they'll definitely laugh and forget about it if they think I've made a mistake" was honestly so big brain, I can't get over it

@@CameramanI88 I mean Ludwig's persona especially when it comes to Pokémon is that of someone who throws for content and doesn't overthink. I think him preparalyzing a pokemon for like the second or third elite four would make his chat suspicious.

Ngl I watched this video before watching Ludwig’s ludlocke finale and it might be that Ludwig is a pretty good actor but for just a moment I was like… huh what if they lied just to have two banger videos. Cause tbh I’m probably not watching the finale of the ludlocke even if a bunch of crazy stuff happened but I’d definitely watch it when cheating is involved.
I do think this is all pretty legitimate cheating (what a sentence lol) but the idea of boosting popularity of a run by lying about cheating does make sense, i can only watch someone rage out over a crit so many times.
Honestly kinda impressed by how Ludwig could have Jan tell him what play to make in real time and just sell it convincingly as his own thought process on stream for over an hour and a half. It takes some real skill to hold up that level of facade for that long in front of such a huge live audience without letting it slip once during the final bosses of a difficult game you've been playing for a month,, what a gamer

like, for a moment it absolutely shattered the credibility of every single thing he ever said
It was sus as hell, everyone was telling him to load the save he just did, it was weird to see him pretending to not see chat
This should be a series called "Nuzlocke Doctor" where Jan goes in and saves "doomed" runs.

This might be your best video I've seen. The whole structure of doing a preplanning section, where you try to make a working team with the pieces you have, seeing Ludwig's reaction to the plan after you've explained it a bunch so we're on your side hoping that he understands it well, and ending with you whispering in his ear while he tries to bullshit his chat that he came up with it all is a super good almost 3 act movie.
I'm honestly just more upset that he was healing mid-battle while also needing outside comms to beat a Nuzlocke. That's like the third biggest rule about Nuzlockes is only healing outside of battle
@@dboi1656 I don't know what rules Ludwig played by but there are only 2 "absolute" rules in Nuzlockes: play with a limited amount of pokemon (usually catch only 1 pokemon per route) and perma-death. He can heal mid battle if he wants, he's not doing a hardcore challenge.
I really liked the preplanning section. It's always nice to see the thought processes that go into team building.
@@dboi1656 Nah, that's a self-imposed rule most Nuzlockers add themselves, besides at the end of the day as long as they're having fun they're playing "properly".
@@dboi1656 no items in battle is a hardcore rule (and, from what I understand, this is a difficultly hack) so if he wants to be able to use items then he can use items

TLDR he showed his balls on his podcast and they didn't censor it by accident when they uploaded the podcast in video form to patreon, so if you wanted you could just got look at screen shots of ludwig's ball sack.
@@marmato9332 Ludwig was on an episode of cold ones, and I think the patreon episode had him showing his balls to the hosts. Chad forgot that ludwig said he wanted his balls censored on the patreon episode, so they were shown uncensored, and that clip spread all over twitter.

This is probably my favorite video of yours that I have seen in a LONG time. Loved the analysis at the beginning and the ending with you coaching him through it while he was trying to act all big brain for his chat lol.
It's so absolutely perfect that the save freezes at the champion fight, making it so Jan can't see that the notes were wrong on the final pokemon, but Lud is able to play through it anyways.
this actually really showcases ludwig's skill as an entertainer. he is on call and it's not noticable at all in his performance :o

i liked this style of video and i think you should take submissions from more nuzlocker people to try and "fix their runs". It allows you to analyze (something you're reall good at) and use your knowledge for entertainment.
