Tennis! I am also a Tennis coach (just had one of my pupils be a sparring and practice/war-up partner of Alcaraz, Sinner, Rune, Medvedev, Raducanu and other pros at the Indian Wells this year) and since I'm here, you know I'm a watch enthusiast as well!

Russ, your effervescent personality cheers me up no end mate, I just lost my wife to a burst appendix last Saturday and your channel has been a great help in my time of grieving. I know this is not the place to mention this so forgive me please. We don't come just for the watches I'm sure. You are a special person, one of kind, and unique so keep making these videos, and I loved the one where you were out in the country side on that new watch release.

I am so sorry for your loss...I too, lost my wife in 2019 so I know exactly how it feels... I restarted my watch collection hobby that I stopped 23 years ago after I met my wife because I dont want her to worry over me spending on watches. I was given an advice on starting a new hobby to help fight my depression... I hope things will get better for you (it will), you will need some time. Take care my friend.

I recently found my grail watch. It's a 1984 Seiko H556-5029 and it's in pretty good condition for a 40 year old watch. :)

@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR Yes. I remember seeing that Seiko as a young boy in a mail order magazine in 1987 or so. It was too expensive for me so I coulnd't have it or course. I never forgot about it and I didn't even know what brand and type it was. Untill recently. Whenever I looked for a watch, it had to look alike this H556-5029, but I never found one... untill now! :)
@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR Funny thing is also, that when I first saw it that I also thought that it's a lot smaller than I expected it to be. Of course, it has an advantage too, the whole stainless steel case and bracelet weighs only 75 grams. It's like wearing a titanium watch. :)

That’s a Biff & Buffy watch to be worn at the Oak Hill Country Club P.S. Picked up a F91W a few minutes ago for $16.88. Candy Apple Green. I’ll be wearing it exclusively to ride my Mountain Bikes like a bat out of hell in Virginia and West Texas!

Here's my question:
Why haven't you made a video about the GD-350 yet? I use and love this watch because of its beefy appearance and powerful functions. The OneClick timer, the bright illumination of the dial, the large time display and the alarm clock with five modes are impressive. But there is still one unique selling point:
I think it's the only G-Watch that has a vibrating alarm and has been spared from silly smart functions.
That's the reason why I wanted it. I often sleep on the train on my way to university or work, but I don't want a loud alarm on my watch or smartphone as I find it rude to disturb my fellow travelers. What could be better than a vibrating alarm? Snooze mode if needed.
Are there any more Casio watches like this? Apart from the "W-735H - W-736H"? Why don't you make a video about it?

My first digital in 1980 played the ‘yellow rose of Texas’ but can’t recall if it was a Casio or seiko??? Or maybe a Zetron?

A cracking watch Russ, that citrus fruit colour makes me want to get one and go on a very exotic holiday, unfortunately I can't justify either. Anyway a great review and congrats with the purchase. I'm in the dog house again after visiting family over Easter and popping into F&G.

For the ultimate retro Casio, you should get ahold of a Melody Alarm watch from the early 1980s.
The o in counter looks like a power switch.. and when my brain passed over and ignored it, well, the name of the watch changed and it looks like…well something more “adult” lololol
It is small because all the Casio watches with "L" on front of model type code is dedicated for womans guys :)
I played tennis all through high school and I am now 39 years old and still play to this day. I NEED this watch!
Congratulations on getting the watch of your dreams I can vegley remember seeing it when it was out I am lucky and was around when digital watches were first introduced one of are friends bought one of the first LED ones I cannot remember the make but it looked good back then but we all went off when he was put a new battery in every month the LCD changed the world I got a muscle one but it drove every one made when the alarm went off I wish I had kept them now

Aww I had one of those Casio football timers, nice to see it briefly there. I think I bought it about 20 years ago? I told the shop assistant it was for one of my nephews. I was probably wearing a Rolex at the time and felt a bit embarrassed about buying a Casio.
