For those in the US, still 21.92 dollars: : WS-1200H-2AVCF. The Casio Fishing Watch. I noticed it for the first time on this channel. Even though I'm not a fisher, it just looked so cool/gimmicky. And I thought 22 dollars with taxes? Let's give it a try. One year later and I still love it. There's a pond at my place, and guess what: every time the watch says it's a good time to go fish, the fishing birds appear: egrets, herons etc... what a watch. It has a moon phase, a couple of alarms, dual time and a countdown and stopwatch. The countdown and stopwatch are animated with fish swimming around. And the backlight is nice and clear. So worth it!

AE 1200 is the cheapest watch I own, but it might be my favorite. I just got back to Arizona from Madrid. Having 4 time zones on an easily readable $20 watch that I don't care if I forget in a hotel room is awesome. I used to wonder why people would buy those SKXMOD metal kits to upgrade a $20 watch, but I get it now. The 1200 is a very cool watch which would be even better in a hefty metal case. Please keep the content coming. I find myself becoming more of a Casio nerd and enjoy your reviews of the humble but cool-ass brand.
MWC, love your show. However…..I was watching this show with my elementary aged son and my 7 year old daughter down the hall. You dropped the F bomb. Why? Your show is so good and funny to boot. I sold all my watches and hadn’t worn a watch in 10+ years. Then I walked by an A168W 2 months ago and had to buy it. Now my wife is concerned cause I keep buying more watches. I really like my W800H with negative display. 10 year battery, 100m water resistance, light works great and under $30.
I'm a 5610u fanboy, it does everything I want from a watch. PLUS even when I'm not wearing it, I use it to set my automatic watches as it's the most accurate watch due to its multi band 6 function and its ALWAYS on/working due to its Tough Solar. I can't live without my 5610u ❤ ... literally!
I was so tempted to get the 5610U for bootcamp but I ended up getting the GD350 for its vibration alarm. If it had this feature, you bet your ass I’d get the 5610U
Great video but disagree on the LF-20W - I really like it. You are right that the viewing angle could be better. But it's really comfortable, has great features for the price ( countdown timer, 5 alarms, world time) and personally I love how it looks. My other suggestion is the SGW100B - Incredible value and features and feels tough while cheaper than G Shocks. Available on import from USA.
I like my LF20W. The module has a lot of features, yes it could be more "retro" and I hope Casio make it someday with Stainless steel full case. Now I'm in love with my lineage LCW-M170, blue dial, 100m WR, lumibrite, sapphire crystal, solar, radiocontrolled and japanese kanji symbols for day of the week. Super sweet to wear it every day as teacher.
GM2100C for me has been the Casio of the year. Super comfortable. Field watch aesthetic with a legible positive LCD display. Canvas straps and a metal case. Also spot on with the 5040 40th Anniversary. It just ticks the right boxes.

I'm really impressed with the LWS2200H-4AV I got my daughter. Great size, display, LED light, 100M WR, and a step counter. The color is really cool, more toupe than pink. She's a lifeguard and enjoys tracking her steps at work (she gets between 15,000-20,000 in an eight-hour shift). She gets compliments on it all the time. One of Casio's more under-the-radar releases of 2023.
I'd not owned any Casios for over 30 years. After watching you for the past few years, I've picked up two G-Shocks, a yellow GA-B2100 and the Mudmaster GG-B100Y-1A. Love them both.
Hah, I bought a GG-B100-1A3ER 2 days ago. Hoping it'll arrive Monday or Tuesday. I've had a few g shocks, but never as expensive or feature rich (or big) as this one. My second last one was the GA-B2100 in grey with positive display.
@AdamAus85 Hi, my wrist varies between 6.8 to 7 inches through the day and I was worried it was a step to far. It is big but hugs my wrist better than my 45mm Planet Ocean. THIS GG-B100 keeps brilliant time as well. I'll be very interested to hear if your model has lumed indices, I heard it has but have not managed to find out as I was considering the model as one RUclips reviewer says it has. Where did you buy from?
Completely agree about a1100 and ae1200 but instead of gw5000u i would recommend g5600ue because they are much cheaper. By buying gw5000u you paying almost 3 times more just to have multi band 6 which is great to have but unfortunately it's not not for everyone cause it doesn't work if you live in big cities like New York
Absolute banger of a show to carry us into the festering season! 😂❄☃I needed a good laugh. It's funny how Casio can be so on point with a release like the A1100 and then completely miss the mark with the h5600. Maybe the ;language barrier 😂 All the best to you and yours sir! ❤
I own the DW-H5600 and it is, by far, my favourite watch for exacty the reasons you dislike it :D It is tracking my heart rate while doing sports which is essential as i often tend do overdo it and unlike a lot of other smart watches, this is insanely accurate and actually gives me warnings _before_ i notice i overdone it myself! (What point does an heart rate alarm make that goes off minutes after you entered the limited zone). It has the by far best sleep monitoring of every smartwatch i have ever seen, all my notifications (including vibrations) are turned off on the smartphone, i get everything to the watch. It remins me of my steps. It tracks the route when i go walking or hiking and because it uses the GPS of the smartphone, i don't have to wait 5 minutes for the watch to catch GPS until i can go walking. It doesn't have a touch screen which is a big plus for me as those things get smudged in minutes, especially when you're doing sports. And then you have the hassle of handling a smudged touchscreen with maybe slightly sweaty fingers while training which can often lead to frustration. I can always see the time, without doing some trickster movements, while doing sports. Especially on an home trainer (these bikes that don't move), or even a real bike, you're hand is in an position where most smartwatches turn off and don't easily awake as you're hand is constantly in the "im watching it" position. It is actually durable! The battery consumption during tranings is insanely low, especially when going hiking. If you do an 5 hour trip, the battery consumption is almost the same as when doing nothing. A lot of smartwatches need to be charged instantly after an 5 hour trip while the Casio still goes strong for the whole week afterwards. The DW-H5600 might not be interesting for watch collectors, but it does an excellent job for the people who it is made for, people doing sports who want an smartwatch that can actually support them doing so. And it is significantly more comfortable and better fitting than an traditional smartwatch. So from Smartwatch Standards, the comfort is perfect.
A lot of LF20W hate out there but I absolutely love it. It's low $20, retro yet modern, surprisingly small and incredibly lightweight, very clean lines and overall design without excess text, unique digi-analog clock with multiple 'screens,' an interesting (but ultimately useless) 10-second visualization' and it's very simple yet packed with many of the core and useful Casio features: easy to switch to another time zone, view up to 4 time zones, basic alarm, timers, and a decent light with a great retro orange hue. It gets called out for not having crisp visibility at a direct viewing angle but in practice that claim feels very nit-picky and it's a very legible read. Incredible everyday watch even more so for those who travel often or otherwise deal with multiple time zones.
Excellent video as always, felt sure you would include the MRW-200H-1BVES as it is the cheapest beater around and actually looks quite cool - £13.99 at Argos at the moment. Can't go wrong with the AE1200 though, recently bought one and is my current favourite. Happy Halloween matey 👻
I didnt want the heart rate GShock but did want the MIP screean, mineral and stainless bezel. Bought the much cheaper GBX100 which still has functions I dont need (tides?)... but the MIP screen is brilliant. Has an app link if you want to use it to set stuff

AE1200 is definitely a gem. I have several, a few modded. I also bought one and took the band off and threw it in my "go bag". 10 year battery makes for a great emergency timepiece!
TMWC I picked up an analog version of the Fish Gear in Olive drab. What an amazing piece! Super cool watch! You should review the ani-digi version as I found it more interesting and picked that one up. Love your show mate. Cheers from Canada!
I’m a little disappointed that you didn’t recommend the GBD 200 which I think is the ideal fitness watch for older G-Shock collectors. It gives you everything you need and nothing you don’t including that annoying heart rate paw on the back. It also has the MIP display.
It’s a watch I reviews last year my friend. Also if you see my review of the H5600 you’ll see me recommend it over that! I’m disappointed you never watched the show!
@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR I do beg your pardon I missed that qualification. In that case, my disappointment has transitioned into pure joy! I absolutely did watch that video and pretty much all of your videos.
I really love my black GBD-200. It's my favorite beater from my collection of 18 Casios. The MIP display is awesome and it feels perfect on my wrist. Would never trade it for the H5600.
that GW-5000U is same like the GW-M5610U only colors are different, then the GW-5000U costs more than double. the GW-M5610U with it original 80s colors looks more retro, i think thats the more interesting G-shock square watch.
The 5000u is made in Japan, which is going to cost more, regardless of any actual difference in quality. It also has a stainless steel inner and a screw down case back.
I’ve always been a fan of that Casio that looks like a tribute to an AP Royal Oak. I think they nicknamed it “CasiOak” or something like that. But it was all black on black on black, with no accent colors that I can recall.
LF20W Casio POP completely disagree with you. Love everything about the POP, no faults seriously. The band is the most comfortable rubber Casio strap I have used, form fitting and light. I love Nato though so put it on a 16mm to 20mm band adaptor and threw a Bright Orange Nato strap and am in heaven. Nato is so comfortable and it wears at an angle so helps with readability. The analog dial is comprehensible at a glance unlike on the Casino AE1200WH which I always really don't understand the love for. Went from Eastern US to LA, finally Hawaii with the POP and it the multiple time zones available were extremely useful. Took a Daytona too and actually used that only one night out. The Casio was such a great companion swimming and even surfing couldn't believe it! Casio is God Teir.
I love the the DW-H5600 I wanted something that wasn’t Garmin Apple or Fitbit for tracking me steps and workouts. Looks old school and modern does the job and don’t have to charge it more than once a week. If I put it into time keeping mode it will last 2 years
Nah I tried them all the shop the other ones felt like toys plus I got a deal on a mint second hand special edition for less than the price of the standard models. I did consider the GBX100 it is a beauty. I don't have a problem with the bottom bump. I do have a problem with the lack of workout categories though... would've like cycling to be included.@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR
Great video as always .my daily beater is a GW-M5610-1ER bulletproof watch .But You still cannot beat a Casio Duro (Marlin) Just a special watch at a great price. have 2 by the way 😁
Great review and advice for the Christmas Santa list On your next video would you be able to add the model numbers either in the description and in the video. I was wondering if you could make or (have you already) where to buy Casio's from here in the UK apart from the usual places
About the H5600: I do like HRM functions in a watch, but then again: I have a Garmin Fenix 7X Sapphire Solar. And basically every Garmin, Polar or Suunto will outperform the H5600 in HRM functions. So I do agree the DW-5040 and GW-5000(U) are much better options. The DW-5040 actually must be about the most beautiful square Casio ever produced. Even previous anniversary editions were not this cool.
Managed to get an A1100, I agree what a stunner, I can't resist a metal Casio. I got the white LF20 however & I really like it, it makes me feel like I'm in Space 1999 every time I tell the time.
I have two LF20W watches. One of them is white and the other black. My black one is faded and is hard to view at different angles (got it through Amazon). My white one has a darker (bolder) screen that can be easily seen at different viewing angles (hot through Walmart). Maybe it depends on the batch or maybe bad battery. I wear the white one over the black because of the screen.
“… it leaves us old watch collectors who are just happy that our hearts are beating, let alone trying to monitor it.” 😂
Even a bad Casio is better than a lot of other watches out there 😂 There aren’t a lot of watch jobs a Casio isn’t capable of. Great show MWC 👏👏👏

@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR Just my luck! 😄 ..and my friend? Congratulations again on your 100 000 plus subscribers! Really a great achievement and so well deserved. 😊
@@Daud76 all the best and thank you for your support and weekly input!
great video mate, try to review QnQ watch please, they're very cheap watches but have a good quality as casio, i have 1 QnQ watch since 2008 and it still normal till today
Thank you for great review ⚽️, like it a lot mister
The purple lighting on that a1100 made me think itd be dope with a anodized finish or a zinc dichromate
Your energy is so refreshing to see in a RUclips video
Gw B5600 black raisin ❤...tough solar+ bluetooth + multiband + 20 bar+ clear display with date time and world clock with a back light button ...best purchase i made(170 dolar)...durable ,affordable, strong as fk and its gold panel display with black raisin is just the cherry ❤
Cheers from Canada!
in the beginnung i didnt like the lf20 as well, but i just changed the strap, and now it has become my daily favorite!
Sweet!
New subscriber here.
And…rookie question that may not be my business…..
What happened to Mad Watch Collectors wife?
9 years of blissful marriage so far my friend!
@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR
thank you!
You had me frightened with the Beetlejuice book!
USA loves you!
@@tripster003 hahaha! She bought it!!!!
I really love my black GBD-200. It's my favorite beater from my collection of 18 Casios. The MIP display is awesome and it feels perfect on my wrist. Would never trade it for the H5600.
Have you tried reviewing the Casio DB-36. It's an awesome watch with everything you'd need with an impossibly long battery life.
that GW-5000U is same like the GW-M5610U only colors are different, then the GW-5000U costs more than double. the GW-M5610U with it original 80s colors looks more retro, i think thats the more interesting G-shock square watch.
Totally agree .
The 5000u is made in Japan, which is going to cost more, regardless of any actual difference in quality. It also has a stainless steel inner and a screw down case back.
Love the Beetleguese nostalgia fella 🤣🤣🤣
I’ve always been a fan of that Casio that looks like a tribute to an AP Royal Oak. I think they nicknamed it “CasiOak” or something like that. But it was all black on black on black, with no accent colors that I can recall.
I am a fan of the W86. Recently obtained it and find it a smart upgrade of the classic with the illuminated back light.
LOVE LOVE LOVE my Casio Royale! The pinnacle of retro-cool digital watches!
Hey! Can you unbox the Casio AE1000?
Just treated myself to a GWG-2000 carbon, very happy with it, still love my GA-900 for work
Crazy mad guy made me spend 500 bucks for 2 Citizen watches.A Fugu and a Ny0040
Awesome show! Extra humorous, usual sharp editing, and sooooo informative! Thank you Russell!
The MQ-24d is my first real watch, going great so far, nice cheap, simple, reliable metal watch.
Update: Upgraded and got an Invicta pro diver automatic
This show always brings a smile to my face
Mate when you say “yessssss”
It makes my day
LF20W Casio POP completely disagree with you.
Can you review/highlight more analog Casios? Casio is not just tough digitals :)
Only if I like the look of them my friend! But will make an effort to seek them out!
Really really funny time watching your videos.
Thank you my friend!!
I love the the DW-H5600 I wanted something that wasn’t Garmin Apple or Fitbit for tracking me steps and workouts. Looks old school and modern does the job and don’t have to charge it more than once a week. If I put it into time keeping mode it will last 2 years
GBD200 my friend! You could’ve thanked me later!
Nah I tried them all the shop the other ones felt like toys plus I got a deal on a mint second hand special edition for less than the price of the standard models. I did consider the GBX100 it is a beauty. I don't have a problem with the bottom bump. I do have a problem with the lack of workout categories though... would've like cycling to be included.@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR
love the channel keep it up mate even if I do love the watch you love to hate on ;)@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR
I have the white dial version of that MTP. The fluted bezel and gold-colored roman numbers really make it feel like a timeless classic.
Great video!!!
I'll se do to my wife.... Long time telling her to buy me the gw5000u... Maybe this year with your video....??
I'll let you know 🤣🤣🤣
GREAT show Russ! That A1100 is calling to me…
Great video as always .my daily beater is a GW-M5610-1ER bulletproof watch .But You still cannot beat a Casio Duro (Marlin) Just a special watch at a great price. have 2 by the way 😁
6:07 can I buy it from amazon?
Or it’s not original?
I honestly LOVE the GM 5640. I think it looks so whimsical and unique!
Hilarious, great content and keep it up!
Have you ever reviewed the Gulfmaster? I Love mine, what's your opinion
Great review and advice for the Christmas Santa list
On your next video would you be able to add the model numbers either in the description and in the video.
I was wondering if you could make or (have you already) where to buy Casio's from here in the UK apart from the usual places
Nice episode!
MWC Bro, I gotta say, even for a sarcastic Brit, "The Wife" is savage in her comments. Please keep her comments coming!
Thank you for this video.... I got my W-86 for just £12.99 from Arogs when they had a "Flash sale"
Managed to get an A1100, I agree what a stunner, I can't resist a metal Casio. I got the white LF20 however & I really like it, it makes me feel like I'm in Space 1999 every time I tell the time.
It's difficult not to love this content. It really is.
