Much awe, much respect. It's difficult to find why the bloody hell the awkward RUclips algorithm didn't offered me way before the most entertaining, passionate and elaborated channel for our beloved watches. Thank you so much. Cheers!
I can`t believe I haven`t come across this Channel before . The MWC has such a similar taste to mine ( I love cheap affordable watches ) and I love his sense of humour :) Just subscribed , Thank you 😄
I've only bought casio's for the last 10 years and have no regrets. Started with some stainless Ediface analogues, but my latest is a 5600UE solar square G. It's my favorite so far. It's tough, lightweight, and a good size for my small wrists. I always had issues with full stainless watches being to bulky and heavy for me. I work in a lab around various acids and solvents, so the resin construction has additional benefits.
The best thing about RUclips is the odd rabbit holes it sends you in, I'm so glad that the algorithms sent me to your channel. I'm loving binging all your reviews.
Another great MWC vid to accompany my morning coffee and start my day with a few laughs!! I bought the fishing timer but gave it to the neighbour kid... "There's fish on it!!" 🤣 Another great reason to buy a Casio! Kids love them! I no longer have a digi now, but this may change... A great weekend to all!! Especially all the Dads!
Discovered your channel only last week and O boy; I am addicted! It is not only V funny, silly fun (silly like myself but you are the Lord, the king, the ayatollah, the emperor, the messiah of creative silliness!) but very to the point, full of useful information and a no nonsense opinion at the same time. Genius! Carry on please, life is suddenly brighter and more enjoyable for me and many more people who follow you channel, I am sure of it! Last but not least; Casios are great! Thanks fella 👍 Why did I ever spend so much money on Swiss mechanical watches? Still try to work this one out 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Pietro!!! You are very kind my friend!! Thank you so much for the support! There are a lot like us all over the world!! We need to join forces with the rest and remind watch lovers you don’t need to be so serious!!!!!!
A great video explaining Casio watches. I've been a fan for 40+ years and have owned many. This list you've made is excellent inspiration for a potential next purchase and your madcap personality makes it all a bit of fun.
Another great vid Russell really enjoyed it! I like the look of that Edifice at the end too. Here's a few handsome Casios that might interest you: 1. Casio Edifice EFR-S108D-1AVUEF (sapphire crystal + 100m water resistance). 2. Casio Edifice 38mm EFV-110D-1AVUEF 3. Casio MTP‑1302PD‑1A1VEF 4. Casio MTP‑1308D
My calculator watch was illegal in my school, although I was never told about it. Meaning, it was confiscated by my teacher on day 1 of me wearing it, and was pronounced lost when my parents come to reclaim it. Thats why whenever I saw a ca53 in my collection, a bit of sourness lingers in my heart, because I was literally saving for it.My dad being angry as he is, could do nothing. So instead he bought me my first F91, which I still have until now.
Sorry but I have a question from France... 158 ? 168 ? 700 ? Same price but what is the best choice et some differences please ? Thanks a lot ! And congratulations for your channel
I owned the DB-380 more than a decade ago, it was really cheap back then ... And my dad got one for himself too, mine was plastic, his was steel. We lost mine in a river... My dad got tired of wearing his. It never broke down though.
The AE1200 is hands down the best one, in my opinion. I love the look of that one and while it's not super small, it still looks fine on my medium to small wrist size. Also, there are a lot of ways you can mod that one.
@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR I would love to see an episode on watch modding. This website has a bunch of Casio mods that are amazing. casimods.com/ I'm currently waiting on parts to make my AE1200 a post-apocalyptic watch.
Appreciate the collection walk through. I just love the gold calculator. That just screams 1980s, like the Rolex Bluesy. I recently added my first Casio, the DW5600. Quartz, good EL, one alarm. Simple. Solid. That recessed button top left messed with me. I thought it was broken. Lol
Awesome video as always mate, you just keep getting better and better, superb! F91w as my daily work horse, never lets me down, and I’m in the building trade so it gets a beating. Keep them coming pal 👍
I bought a 5610 with the tough solar and multi band 6 and payed 93 USD two years ago. Best watch purchase of my life I wear it everyday. It has never died in me and has a good backlight. Highly recommend this watch I can swim with it on
Great video MWC, thanks for sharing. I would include the cheap protreks SGW100 and SGW300 (they are big but packed with functions), and the very stilish B640 black (with normal screen, not inverted). Go for the fishing WS1200, I think is an amazing underrated watch, with a superb module, lots of functions, and great animations that remind me of the Casios from the 80s. Greetings from Colombia
My first daily driver Casio was my dad's old G-2300-9V G-Shock back in high school. He wasn't really using it much and I had just broken the either Casio or Timex watch I'd been using up until then. I still have that watch and take care of it best I can while using my Royale and other watches more frequently. He's also given me his old vintage Timex Ironman and Citizen Stiletto, both in working order. I'm saving up now to get him one of the cool upcoming Star Wars Citizen Ani-Digi character watches for Christmas this year, I think he'll like that.
Hi! I would add Casio Duro or MDV-107-1A2VEF, this one for me is the best value for money you can get. Other Casio I would definitely add is the AQ-800E-1A, I've recently bought and I'm very happy with it.
Great review as ever just bought a Casio royal Due to your review . absolutely love it Looking now for a Casio calculator watch Been of that age 56 now it will bring back great memories . Keep up the good work regards steve 🙂
My everyday watch: Casio Edifice EFS-S510D-1AVUEF-Solar, saphire crystal and 100WR. Bracelet is rubbish but I should have bought more than one. A great value if you can find one!
Loving the content. I have several casio and seiko watches - 90’s and present day. Also the same about early 90’s mountain bikes. I must have a touch of the Retroids!
This video inspired me to buy the AE1200! I love the aesthetics of it, it has that 90s vibe that I remember from some video games when growing up - even though I didn't live in the 90s myself, my family was poor and I grew up with a lot of the stuff from the time thanks to my parents. Also it being very water resistant, and an absolute monster of features, it is right up my alley, I like having a wrist gadget that feels out of a movie
@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR Here to say this video yet again helped me with another purchase! I bought a MRW-200H for my younger brother - with him being a non-watch nerd, he broke my heart when we I was talking about watches with him, and he decided to buy a replica watch of a G-Shock, even when the watchmaker had original models, and when he explicitly told us that the models shown were replicas. And I taught him about the qualities to look for a watch, may it be design, durability, or function, and to be aware of trying to buy from reputable brands. This particular model is because my brother doesn't use the watch as a tool, but he does like having an improved look, but his wrists are massive, and only a model with a rubber strap would suffice. And since the MRW is pretty cheap, plus it is just what he was looking for, I took part of the extra money to buy him a real good watch that will last long. He was pretty happy! Especially since I got him the one with a camo style, he enjoys the "military" aesthetic on a watch.
I just ordered an AE 1500WH. Under $20 US. Biggest time display, maybe I can read at night without my glasses. Before that my most recent Casio is a W753, A Moon and tide data watch also under $20 US.
The blue casio f-108wh-2aef is a nice watch .. weirdly enough I picked it up in Argos ... flicking through the catalogue and picking out a new watch to buy is strangely satisfying !
You are absolutely right with your Pringles comparison. You can't own enough CASIO watches. Plus: Once I put on one of my CASIO watches in the morning, I feel bad for the other ones having to stay at home.
On the awards 16:52 you gave Best Bracelet to the A158W at 16:55 , but you presented the A168 at 16:59 instead! I caught it because my wife has the A158W and I have the A168 and we switched bracelets! Great video!!
Iv just received a A159 as a gift and I'm in love with it I'm now on a mission to own many more casio watches i can not believe how cheap they are ❤👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Besides my M:i-1 &M:i2 Casios the DW290 & DW6900 my favorite basic Casio is the F108, I need to see what you think of it! It’s a solid watch hard as nails
I have the Casio F 91W but I have the olive green variant but it really is a good watch it’s lasted me all these years and it hasn’t failed me once I put a NATO strap on it and now I’m going to wear it in the Air Force when I join
You should look at casio DBC-32 great illuminator large display like the casio royal and best buttons on a data bank and cheap . Mine was 32 pounds on Amazon .. love the casio vids by the way 👍🏻
Hey, great video as always! I’m looking to get my kids into watches (i own 12 Casios and other Japanese and Swiss watches) I’d love to buy my 10 year old son a G-Shock but all i can find are ladies watches. It would help to know the options to get these kids in the game to avoid this industry from dying.
I love my Casio G-shock DW8300 'Stargate'. It's pricey now and it's a real whopper on your wrist, but it's at the heart of my humble little watch collection.
I had my first Casio A158W and it worked for 15 years, then the buttons got stuck. I then had my second Casio A158W, and it lasted 13 years before one of the buttons got stuck. Could you recommend a model that won't have problems with buttons?
Thank you for comments so far!!! Yes I have missed out the obvious DURO!!!! However after my review I gave it away;) TOOOO BIG! ruclips.net/video/VIpniQxWfFs/видео.html
Get the Casio MW-600F-1AV I've had it for 4-5 years now never changed the battery it's a dam good beater watch ...really a underrated watch with alot to offer 🤙🤙⌚👌 cant wait for the review 😂
Gosh, wwwwwwwhat a nice intro ! I´m, just wearing my new - blue ( glowin´) - Irukandji !! And now, wihout further adoooo: If I ever will look for a Casio I will definitely follow your advice Russ...............absolutely sure my friend. 👍👌👏👏
Satinised would be another term for Anodised. In the guitar world the latter is only ever uttered. Love your lineup, have had the F105 and F168 for years as my second and third Casios (the first being the AL-190, the first solar Casio I believe and eBay says it's from 1985 and I obtained mine in 2013 and just don't remember why I chose a solar Casio rather than an F91, but it was dirt cheap and eBay has them for insane resale/vintage prices therefore I'm lucky).
I'm New to watch collecting and the way things are going I'm going to be ahead off you with the quantity of Casios/Casio Gshocks. I'm addicted and can not stop buying them. Do i need Help ?
I picked up the AW-90H from Argos this week. It’s a great watch and if you get the digital and analogue time spot on it’s great to see the minutes hand move.
@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR We followed the same path then. Bought one, loved it and then I had to sell it because it was to big big for my wrist. I just think that it should be on any list for best watch (not just Casio) under $100. Cheers from Spain!
Sorry for my English What a great video When you say. you get never-ending list I recommend a CASIO LINEAGE LCW-M100TSE- which around 160 GBO But you get 1 digital and analog display 2. Tough solar 3.Titanium 4.Sapphire The problem this watch is only selling in Japan but you can get online
I have 5 Casios, all purchased in last 6 months. 2 are on this list. They are rather moreish :) Shall watch Pt 2 next...but only after I've been for breakfast at Wetherspoons.
Hi Gary! I need the lume from the 68 in the 58 and then I’d be happy! The bracelet on the 58 is more comfortable in my opinion plus you get more of an 80’s vibe with the face design on the 58!
I love my a158w. It has everything what I need. It has this vintage looks like f91 but with much better band. And even though it's wr30. I swim with it and it has no problem with it whatsoever.
So somehow...not quite sure how EXACTLY, I ended up buying the F84W-1 (Japanese version of f91w) and the F91W with a GREEN border! What am I doing and why?? BTW, would you review these? I think it could be fun. Or maybe that's just me and I too need to get a Casio "Fridge". Ok, let's blame the heat and I am going to lie down in a dark room. PS: at least they were cheap MWC, I hope YOU understand me...
Great! And perfect timing: My daughter (8 years) got her first Casio today! F91 in orange...
Sebastian! That is superb timing! My daughter has the Orange F91 to!;)
My daughter got the f91w in yellow for her 7th bday 😊
Bought 2 Casios this year: A168 ($18) & the DW290 ($38). These watches give me so much happiness and take me back to my youth.
Amazing Rich! Congrats on the purchase!!

The Casio Duro is now out at a more wearable 36mm! Check the MDV-10 series - it was launched just a few weeks ago.
You should check the DW-291: a heavy duty confortable watch with mineral crystal, 10 year battery, 200 m WR and lots of functions for a great price.
Great shout Jesus!!!! That’s on the list!
Get the Casio MW-600F-1AV I've had it for 4-5 years now never changed the battery it's a dam good beater watch ...really a underrated watch with alot to offer 🤙🤙⌚👌 cant wait for the review 😂

Wow I can't beleive! The TS100!!! I had one and I lost it, it was my first Casio, thanks for the memory!
What a watch Leo!!!
I love these Casio watches. Thanks for the great video. 😁👍
I’m just glad you were able to see the show my friend!
@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR TGV turned me on to you, glad he did. You're great. Keep it up!!
Great fun episode........off to Argos as we speak. 👍🏴👏🏼
Hahahaha thank you Jim!
The A168 is perfect for me,brilliant back light, not too big but big enough,it makes me happy which I suppose is the point!
Totally agree Simon! Thanks for watching!
Yes but only help to buy more my friend!!!!!!
Great collection! Those watches just make you (and me) happy.
I picked up the AW-90H from Argos this week. It’s a great watch and if you get the digital and analogue time spot on it’s great to see the minutes hand move.
Yes I like that Phil!
I hate how perfect this guy's chompers are. I'm so envious
No Casio Marlin (MDV106) on the list? I'm quite surprised. Great video though ;)
Hi Miguel, I bought one, did a review on it, gave it away….. why?????? TOOOO BIG!!!!!!!! Good watch though!
@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR We followed the same path then. Bought one, loved it and then I had to sell it because it was to big big for my wrist. I just think that it should be on any list for best watch (not just Casio) under $100. Cheers from Spain!
Brilliant collection, the ultimate has the be the F91w though, everything you'll ever need
Thanks Jason! Embarrassingly it’s all we need! But let’s not worry about that!;)
Sorry for my English
What a great video
When you say. you get never-ending list
I recommend a CASIO LINEAGE LCW-M100TSE- which around 160 GBO
But you get
1 digital and analog display
2. Tough solar
3.Titanium
4.Sapphire
The problem this watch is only selling in Japan but you can get online
No problem at all my friend! Oh yes that’s a nice choice !!!
I have 5 Casios, all purchased in last 6 months. 2 are on this list. They are rather moreish :)
Shall watch Pt 2 next...but only after I've been for breakfast at Wetherspoons.
Gary!!!! Enjoy y’breaky!!!!!!!!
Wonderful reviews about Casio watch 👍
Awesome thank you Danny! Take a look at part 2!
which one do you prefer: A158 or A168?
Hi Gary! I need the lume from the 68 in the 58 and then I’d be happy! The bracelet on the 58 is more comfortable in my opinion plus you get more of an 80’s vibe with the face design on the 58!
Ah for us older subscribers it was the Green Shield Stamp catalogue before Argos arrived.
You should look at the 358AMW-320C. An 80s and 90s classic! I had one in '85 or so.
Rich! Yes very nice looking! Sporty!!
I love my a158w. It has everything what I need. It has this vintage looks like f91 but with much better band. And even though it's wr30. I swim with it and it has no problem with it whatsoever.
Great calls here my friend! I do love the A158! Go check out part 2;)
This video was very energetic and informative
Conrad! I appreciate you taking the time to watch it!
You’re taking me down memory lane
Hahahahaha the beauty with Casio is you can rebuy memory lane as they still make those watches!!;)
Just bought the W-218H-3AVEF , niice , and only 29 quid , but it might be too big , doh! Oh , and i have just bought one of yer mugs! its a stunner!
Nice Mal! The G Shick that’s not a GShock!;)
