It’s gone if you factory rest without unencrypting it. You should really only encrypted your sd card if you got important files like banking info etc. Other then that gotta get a pc program to completely wipe the sd card.

I'm not using a lock screen password but Encryption is turned on in Security under Settings on my Android phone. I may have accidentally turned it on as I was looking at things in the Security section for the heck of it. I can't turn it off. Is it true on newer Androids it is already set to on? It didn't start going through any processing thing just now but I'm worried if I turn off my phone and back on again I won't have access to my phone. Since I didn't set any lock screen password can I still access my phone with Encryption being on?Again I don't know if I just now turned Encryption on but I can't turn it off. I wish I hadn't looked at the security section as I think I accidentally turned it on but don't know if it already was on. Again I'm worried I won't be able to get back into my phone even if I didn't set a password and lockscreen with Encryption being on. Please help.

this is rubbish. because if u have things on the sd card it moves it all to internal therefore running out of space. so this doesnt do the job. need something that encrypts the sd card.
