I mean it barely matters. Who sends mail any more? You get junkmail and the occasional seasonal card from relatives and that is about it. They don't even send tax forms in the mail any more. Most companies don't use the USPS to deliver packages either...

Did you watch the video? Are you aware of the number of rural communities on the western slope? Places that even UPS/Fedex won’t venture out to. A lot of them dont have internet and absolutely rely on the USPS.

@@j._.taylor I mean there is a limited number of things you can care about. But it's not even that "It doesn't affect you" the number of taxes that go into the postal system is pretty nuts for how little work it actually does.
Then when it gets busy due to the 2 stage delivery it did with amazon, they complain about having too many packages.

@@JustaGuy_Gaming post office hasn’t gotten tax dollars since the 80s there guy. Been a self sustaining not for profit ever since. They get lines of credit that they pay back. But since you’re concerned about finances, how about you inquire about the $100B healthcare prefunding mandate that the baby Bush administration placed on the USPS?
      Literally a hundred BILLION….gone.

@@JustaGuy_Gaming "taxes to [USPS]" USPS isn't funded by taxpayers. "too many packages" what does Amazon have to do with this? Bottom line is that many still rely on the service that USPS is trashing. And that's a problem.
