im really digging your builds my friend. im getting killed in pvp :) but these are helping. I do have 2 questions, for now... 1. is there a reason why you bury the fab and geny in the next layer of foundations and not other stuff? and 2. how in the world do you get so many turrets up? I always run into "to many.." blah blah ~ I play on iOS, mobile edition and the bear trap still works today ;)
Can't lower the foundations like you did in the video. Place foundation. Place pillar. Place lowered foundation. Place pillar. Next one won't snap lower. Only same and higher. :( Can work around by building more foundations on second axis but... how do you do it????
I know this ow an old video but are you able to use the cooker without connecting to water? Could I throw in a bunch of canteens and use it in a dry area?
Please for the love of god make it without catwalks, catwalks are so outdated and all the vids i see still use catwalks even though it breaks the turrets AI mechanics
I mean, do you want me to show you how to place the all other pipes out to a water source? It'd be boring to watch and would be different for different locations so I didn't bother including it lol

Funny thing happened to the 2nd story part while making this video. If you watch in intro and little tour at the beginning and then the part where I build the 2nd floor part it changes. For some strange reason, I guess WC made some tiny change in an update some time during my making of the video, I wasn't able to place the ceiling in the corner above the chem bench. Before ceilings could be placed just barely inside of a cooker if it was placed right but now it seems you can't place ceilings anywhere touching a cooker so the area above the cooker pretty much has to be left empty :(
@@Kviden I did notice and that's good to know. I'm going to have to try building this tomorrow and tinker. It feels like the bear traps aren't working as they used to as well (or user error heh).
I use them when i need to, used them in the upgrade-able base. For this one I didn't because when you open the doors they would clip into the smithy on one side and the chem bench/cyro fridge on the other which would make it kinda annoying to open and close the door easily. Normal door doesn't have that problem ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Extinction was a paid dlc for Ark that they delayed a few times for no clear reason then announced and released Atlas(which was pretty much just a reskin of Ark) and it turned out they took people off the development team for the dlc(which many people, myself included had already paid for) and made them work on the new game instead. Even the creator of the S+ mod was forced to stop working on his integration of S+ into the base game and instead forced to work on Atlas's building system(which is why Ark's official S+ integration was janky and half finished too). Then when Extinction came out after all the delays it was this huge buggy unbalanced shitshow with plenty of holes in the mesh you could just walk through, untextured areas, titans we're OP as hell and there was a glitch that constantly destroyed peoples bases/tames for the first few days. The way they handled the last dlc combined with their constant mistreatment of Ark is enough to put me off from ever giving them money again. lol sorry to rant at ya though
the only problem i have is that it has 3 vaults which seems too much for such a small base and it doesent have enough defenses to have an excuse for 3 vaults

I would like to see a beefy or upgradable turret tower design, like maybe one that is made of vault dropped pillers or something.

times 1000 it is easy to raid even if you have a llot of turrets it is to easy just play times 10 or 20 or 50 or official but not times 1000
