Hands down the best sachtler flowtec tripod review that I have seen. Awesome. the examples made of the feature of the tripod are fantastically well made and put into perspective of actual use. I honestly now feel like buying one of these after seen this review.

Great review but after having had to rescue a few abused tripods for goodness sake please strip and clean it properly if you submerge the legs, a little bit of occasional maintenance can let these things last a lifetime.

i use dslr cameras so dont need this but ive been working with the local production companies recently and they have the big rigs. Their tripods are pieces of crap and take forever to use. Im surprised this isnt the standard everyone has 2-3 of, if i had a full production company id only use these things! maybe one day ill get to that level.

I dont think so. If its taken apart and cleaned, then i guessnits fine but whats the point? Just have it above water level

For $3,000 they better be perfect. Thicker rubber feet and better leg grip to prevent slipping, for starters.

More like OMG 8”47. Not sure I would submerge my sachtler head in water. Mat did you have any issues with the head after that?
