hi saw this and thought "250 wasnt that much" however when i searched it up the cheapest i found was like 500-600. i was wondering where you bought yours so i can get myself one
oh no, if you compare RAW or JPEG side by side, the same lens, you will definitely be craving, X100V is so convenient and has a bunch of extra settings to play with, but the source quality of the picture the sensor pushed out is not on par with X-T1
the only reason i bring around my XE3 instead of my XT1 as the everyday camera is that The XE charges it's battery in camera so i can leave the charger at home. If only someone made a usb ported np-w126 like the smallrig 235 it would be perfect.

Bought a fringer adapter today and won't go FF mirrorless yet. ;) I wish you would have compared the XT-1 a little bit more with your newer camers in day to day use. Nevertheless great video :)
okay, if you have tested only a handful of Fujifilm bodies, and you stumble on the X-T1, I can see how the X-T1 feels like a super good value. However, it has a LOT of faults too, and you can get substantially better without spending a ton more. To be clear, the X-T1 was my first Fujifilm camera, I basolutely love it and will never sell it. But at the same time, I think the camera underperforms in a couple of key areas : - the first (and arguably worst one) is video performance : no Log, no manual control, no AF control, terrible dynamic range and unusabel audio. The X-T1 was really a still focused camera, and the few video features it has are not even worth talking about. For casual video, and the odd short clip, why not, but it's nowhere near the quality we'd expect to see in a modern camera for video. If you want an hybrid camera, the X-T1 is not it, or you need another body that can do video besides it. - the second is the AF-C performance. While AF-S is super snappy and accurate, the moment you switch to AF-C, every bit of reliability goes down the drain. I wouldn't even use this to track a granny crossin a stree with a walking stick. I tried doing some sports with it and it was a disaster, I had to use either AF-S, or MF if I wanted to get something in focus at all. And I know that I'm going to suggest a camera that is more than 50% more expensive, but if you want to see the "best value" Fujifilm today, I think it's the X-T2. It's a HUGE upgrade over the X-T1 in every way imaginable : the EVF is the same but has now twice the refresh rate, you have a joystick in the back, more buttons (which you can reprogram, while you can't do that for allof them on the X-T1), you have two UHS-II card slots that allows you to shoot pro gigs without worrying about an SD card failure, you have a side articulation for low angle vertical shots, you have much better AF-C, with tracking that actually works, as well as custom AF-C profiles that really help you getting the best out of the camera, you can now boost the shutter to 11fps with the battery grip and even 14fps if you shoot electronically. And that's not to mention the new X-Trans III sensor whicih in my opinion is still one of the best, if not the best X-Trans sensor when it comes to output (colors, dynamic range, noise patterns etc). And I haven't talked bout video yet : it has access to oversampled 4K30 video with F-Log which allows to keep a pretty healthy amount of dynamic range even if it's "only 8bit". You also have full manual controls, you can use free Fuji LUTs for grading which help a lot, and you have great microphone pre-amps with a a standard 3.5mm mic jack. I wouldn't even use the X-T1 for casual personal video, but I have used the X-T2 multiple times for pro video gigs and the video quality is actually pretty damn good. Just like the X-T1, it didn't get the Fujifilm hype, so you can find some under 500 bucks, maybe around the 450€ mark if you search accordingly. Similarly, you can also shop for the X-H1, which should be around 50€ more expensive and be the same thing but with a better EVF, and IBIS. As much as I like the X-T1, the X-T2 was such a leap forward, it's not even funny for the T1. Mine served me well for over 3 years, and continues to impress. It's basically an upgraded X-T1 that can also output pro video.

@@futc.photography I'm not saying specifically about the film simulation; I only mentioned that because you brought it up in the video but you're giving an overview of a camera then slapping a preset on the photos which leaves the viewer with no clue what kind of results they'd expect sooc; the earlier x-trans sensors are well known for the color rendition and with a preset on top of the examples, we don't get to see that. Its nowhere near $250 for the body and lens...stop lying lol. The body alone goes for $450-500, the mint condition ones still go for $900. Just some friendly feedback, I like your vids and shoot an x-t30ii.
Why clickbait with $250 in thumbnail.
Yea getting tired of these guys click baiting me lol, seems like they all lie to get views lol
I bought one two years ago off Facebook Marketplace for $200
Don't believe those dudes saying every old Fujifilm camera is great, most of them take dog piss photos, the AF leaves the chat every time u need it and the battery lasts so little it's not even funny (talking as Fujifilm fan)
Great video, as always !
I appreciate it! Thanks for watching!!
I have an XT2. Annoyingly, I can't seem to find a better camera. I guess I must look for some concert tickets.
great video, quite funny for a German? I got a deal like this on a X-T2 with a grip for 475
X-E2 gets my vote.
My first time here. And I laughed about the taylor swift tickets but I guffawed at "fart jokes." Oh, and good post!
I had to google the meaning of guffawed to realize it's a big compliment 😂 I appreciate that very much, thank you!
Wieder einmal cooles Video :D
16 megapickles you say? That’s impressive.
Waldo is always hidden... and always watching...
Hahaha
Kevin's famous chilli
little did I know that scene would predict my future
Hard to believe some people will pay good money for a hat that is pre distressed, just that whole “buying my clothes pre torn” thing is baffling to me as a carpenter/someone who has worked w their hands their entire life. Must get real awkward when you’re out and about and run into somebody with the exact same tear patterns As you got on your hat bill. Probably an odd thing to point out and be obsessed about it. Just kind of throws off the whole. I just bought this brand new shirt at JCPenney’s Vibe you got going on
Yeah I need to buy my stuff pre-torn because I'm busy farting at my desk all day
I have a even better deal, Pentax K20D for 50 euros, with lenses and everything, I don't feel the need for a Fujifilm camera but still interesting video...
Not a Fuji, doesn’t count. Video is about best budget Fuji fyi.
Classic chrome doesn’t help me for B&W. I want Acros.
$250 for any Fuji camera is a bargain. Why is it when I look at videos like yours I can’t find the camera for anywhere near the price you suggest?
Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)
It's easy to find them for $250 or even less (at least here in Germany) just gotta stay vigilant on eBay
Just save and get a t30
I bought mine back in 2015, new, and will never sell it...
By the way, learn how to paint (walls), you'll save a ton of money.
Yeah I've painted walls before, I'm not a pro but they've always turned out decent haha
✔️ 'promo sm'
Its nowhere near $250 for the body and lens...stop lying lol. The body alone goes for $450-500, the mint condition ones still go for $900. That $450-500 gets you a good Nikon or Canon DSLR with a handful of lenses. Still doesn't make sense to go for Sony or Fuji if you're looking for best value for your dollar.
That might be the case in the US, but I paid 250 bucks for the body, and sold it again for the same.
@@futc.photography where are you based out of then? cause it seems I get a lot of video recommendations on my homepage that are made by people from non english speaking countries, but the content creator like yourself is speaking english. Is most of your audience in english in US and UK? if your speaking english I'm just naturally gonna assume your in the UK, US or AUS and are using our prices, but prices in AUS is extremely overpriced so I always rule them out of everything lol. Seems kinda weird to say "Hey guys look I got this camera for $100" in English but your living in Afghanistan lol
@@socksonfeet8125 living in Germany, prices in the UK should be similar. My videos are viewed in 100+ countries, I can’t take every single market into account, especially because the price could suddenly change at any time after I post the video. I’ll say the price I paid at the time of recording, and that’s all I can do…
