I wish I could take my money and throw it at Jono Buchanan. This has been the most helpful and absolutely concise demo and video I have ever seen with a DAW. I actually took hours pausing this video and inputing the exact same things into my own DAW as he went through the class and now I feel so much more knowledgeable about Logic on many different levels. Thank you so very much!!

Now this is why RUclips is so brilliant. There's enough stuff in this to keep me going for ages. Isn't it great to watch a video about Logic which doesn't waste a second, doesn't start with someone telling you how wonderful they are, or trying to get you to subscribe? People subscribe because what they see is excellent and they want more. In nearly two hours I was not bored once. Incredible stuff.

This guy's knowledge of Logic and music in general along with his talent and presentation skills are quite humbling.
This is one of the greatest tutorial I have ever seen. It gave me some great ideas for both composing & visualizing music to video. As a singer-songwriter & band leader I often need midi generated charts on the fly for guest performers in a recording setting. Seeing this approach used validates my efforts. While writing, I layout percussion, keys, and bass in midi with my guitars & vocals. There is also the visual artist in me that realizes albums are no longer cardboard printed sleeves with vinyl, they are cinematic immersions. Composers are now filmmakers and cinematographers. I watched Springsteen's "Western Stars", and Queen Bey's "Black is King" recently, what an amazing way to tell a story. I thank the presenter and the Guildhall school for getting me one step closer to being able to achieve such dreams on my own.
Phenomenal stuff again from the Guildhall. I’m learning so much seeing a professional workflow in these masterclasses.

Jono Buchanan is the essence of an Educator - generous, respectful of his audience, obviously likes youth (not jealous of) and is carefully prepared. Wow, that was amazing and inspiring! I've been using Logic Pro X for a few years now to create backing tracks I upload to my channel, and this masterclass has made me realise how little I know. Last year when I tried to watch this masterclass for the first time, it was overwhelming because I was just getting started and there were too many information for me to process at that time. But now I find it very helpful to really understand the workflow, very detailed in such short time and so many tips on using the time efficiently and on how making the music more interesting. Totally worth it watching this from the start to the end. Thank you!

I don’t have Logic (I’m on a PC), but this was still an amazing instruction for the film composer. I’ve just begun to really scratch the surface of it by just writing the music but this was great for the technical aspect of fitting it to the film and what a director might want. Thank you!!!

Thank you, Jono for sharing your workflow. I learned so much! 1:51:29 I felt that the step could be avoided because the recorded stems would already be available inside the Audio Folder. Moreover, I would always leave the Normalization "Off" because it would increase the noise floor
