i love that the front end doesnt look like a cheese grater anymore.
Whatever the website says is the price of the truck, plus tax, tags, doc fees….so my 78,500 truck I ordered is 85K.

Tranny was rebuilt back at 160,000 miles so it only has like 60k miles on it
Rear end is causing a clunk when you shift into gear (reverse, drive, even neutral) and it annoys the hell out of me lol
To better understand the mileage just use Siri to convert miles to kilometers as that’s what I did with your mileage, crazy how far yours has gone, I hope to get that far and it should easily as the engine doesn’t burn any oil or even have lifter tick
@@brileymitchell2632 the clunk in rear end is probably just a worn out U joint, there's a couple of em and that's when it's time to change em 🤷🏽♂️, preventive maintenance goes a long way ,motor still runs but my floor boards are just rotted right through , just about Flintstone powered lol

Dealer markups are insane.. I wouldn’t mind a 5 or 6 year loan, however I do mind that they wouldn’t be reasonable with the amount dealers are marking these up. Seriously, 89,995 for a high country, and 84,995 for a LTZ dually. What rhe hell , at 60 months that’s almost 1,500 a month not including insurance taxes interest

Not a fan of the front ends or side profiles. Chevy styling has gone downhill bad over the years. Much prefer the styling of my 2018 LTZ 1500 4x4 to any silverado 2019 - current. Lots of cool tech now yet the exterior looks are a major dealbreaker for me. In 21 when I traded in an 07 classic 1500 z71 I looked at several 19 - 21 trucks and went with the 18 so much better looking imo. Gmc since 2019 looks a lot better.
It’s interesting that a domestic manufacturer has introduced brake pad wear sensors on their vehicles. Now granted I’m a mechanic at an independent shop so we lag behind the dealer world but so far all vehicles I have seen with brake pad wear sensors have been european. But on another note I don’t think GM trucks stack up against the other two in the big three. The L5P doesn’t put out nearly as much power as the 6.7 Powerstroke or 6.7 cummins. So it’s a nice truck but I would rather have either of the 6.7’s I just mentioned 😅
Who TF needs wear sensors, pads come with wear indicators built in🤦♀️

@@sublimegreen i have a 2015 Silverado and it started having durability issues in the intererior months after bringing it home and paint more than anything has to be taken care of or it will fade and look ugly years later.. Mechanically speaking all is good so milage was not what I was talking about. I have 195K miles on it and it's mainly the transmission that will give you problems but it is due to design as the torque converter is not designed properly. Mine gave out at 130K but now re-built it's running great. Just needs a bit more love but that it will have issues, yes it will But worth fixing rather than trade in for a new model...

Poor new vehicles they sall you on the crap they have not how long they will last. All new vehicles are trash and that is coming feom a mechanic. New vehicles last 10years or 100k then they are junk. People quit mortgaging vehicles that dont last like they used too. You couldnt give me a vehicle made after 2010.
