  • Hey friend, and welcome to my channel! In this video I'm brainstorming my 2024 convention season. I'm gonna be attending Artist Alley for the very first time and I am frickin excited!!
This video was filmed as a cozy coworking video, so feel free to pop me in the background as you work haha.
I honestly cannot wait to start this new video series. I'm already working on the geese plushies mentioned, and I may have gone back on the frog plushies again haha.
And if you're working on your own project today, let us know in the comments! I'd love to grow this channel into a cozy and creative coworking space ✿
    Big hugs, - Evy

Love the idea of a different theme for each convention. Will check out the art prints when you share them. Good Luck!

I haven't had to do it before myself, but I've read that others have submitted digital versions of their setup and it was okay for them. If you do that, you could just let them know that you're new to vending, but the mockup is your plan for the table. You have a lot of neat ideas! How many items you bring will depend on the amount of attendees there will be at the con. I'd say if it's 5k or less (super cozy con) you're fine with 10 of each item. If it's about 10k+ you could bring 15+ or more depending on the size (and how much you can carry). Most cons announce each year how many attendees they had in total. If not, you can check how many followers they have on their social media. Of course, however much you bring should make up for all your fees. Items that will be popular in person will most likely differ from items that are popular online. I have quite a few popular online items that I've sold maybe 1 or none of in person. Also, what will be popular at each event will usually change so it's hard to say what to bring. Bringing some big items is a great way to get people to come to your table. Put them somewhere higher on your display so that even if people are around your table, others will be able to see them. Other things: Make sure to bring water, your own food and snacks, and headache medicine, especially if you're doing the events solo. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.

Thank you SO MUCH for all of these tips!!! You star 🥹💖💖💖 My first con is quite new, I think this is its third year running, and last year they had 22k visitors. So maybe bring 15-25-ish of each item? For the pins it’s easy to bring 25 of each, but for the bigger boiis maybe I’ll stick to 15 🤪 Arh this was so helpful, thank you again 🥰
