ENJOY!!!!
Just ordered a white silicone kit for my nb2, super stoked that stoneyracing ships to the us
o really? that s cool, good lucking keeping the white clean, i know i couldnt
You’ve definitely made this new build much easier…. And way more expensive!
yeah my wallet hurts
I really wanted to see you replace the one in the very rear on the block cause that 1 is a real pain
i replaced it eventually in another video, honestly i was putting it off for a long time
Everything described very well. Thanks for this video, love your stuff
Glad you enjoyed it! thank you
Kermit green 💚💚
the owner loves it 😎
Not looking forward to doing this since I just got my nails done😂 gotta be done
Might have to get those nails re-done after the install 😂 good luck
Great video, in fact all your content is thankfully! Your numberplate light bracket video saved the day for us novices! Quick question - where can we get the "special tool" @ 3.13? the socket drive clamp thingy?
THANK YOU
try this

Thanks very much, and for getting back to me.
Followed this video as I had a hose blown. Did everything mentioned and when I started it, car was shaking a lot especially engine and gear stick. So tried next day and let it warm up and still same thing. Any idea why?
sounds like a vacuum leak
The part that you skipped at 5:45 do you have another video covering the removal of those pipes or a recommend video
so many people have asked this, i think i better do a video on it soon
Great video. Any reason you didnt do a full flush before throwing in the new coolant?
thank you. ill be completely honest i forgot to 🥲
I don’t know if this will help anyone but when taking off my hoses to replace them a lot were seized. WD40 and a screwdriver to work them off done the trick
Good trick
What is the liquid that was in the pipes? And how do you replace it once u change the pipes?
its coolant or antifreeze, just fill it back up via radiator and let the system bleed itself
How did you jack the car up off the pinch points without bending the body?
I tried once and it bent too much
this one had been repaired so i was brave, the slightest bit of rust and they will bend, i would suggest the point where the wishbone meets the subframe, nice and strong
@@Project380 will give it a try thanks
Was following this vid, and at 6mins 30 you swap a hose for the brake booster, is thst one meant for that? Does it have a valve in?
im gonna be honest i made a mistake, but a video will be coming out on this very soon
@@Project380 it's funny you say this, I have a few frens with mk1s, one is currently running no valve and hasn't hit any issues yet, he's a sketchy fool tho. I put my old one back on so I'm yet to try the no valve vs valve brake experience.
Love the vids as always man, super helpful stuff !
Too bad you skipped the part where you got the hoses off of the block. Why do you guys skip those bits? Can’t tell you how many times I’ve opened an entire video on some thing just for the RUclipsr to jump cut over what I wanted to see.
you mean the ones going to the oil warmer? if so ive not put them on yet as i was going to do it when the engine comes out later this year
Yup I was seeing if he was gonna take the coil pack off for the heater hoses but no had to skip it
My heater hose went out yesterday
I just did mines and you just need long pliers and a lot of patients. Nothing was need to be taken off
does this kit come with new clips to install the new hoses?
yes it do
This is a comment 🎉
😂 thanks for the comment
You missed two houses under the intake manifold 😅
Yeah they are gonna be done with the engine out 😄
Do you not have a oil cooler hose?
good point...... the kit didnt come with them
The hose used on the brake servo should have been used from the inlet manifold to oil filter housing, (ie the bit the oil filter screws onto). There’s also the devil hose that goes from the oil filter housing to the back of the block. That’s a pretty hard hose to change, but I had the alternator out and coil pack loose and managed it ok. So on that car, 2 hoses are still old.
@@Project380thats a lie i saw it at 2:47 on the left headlight. just say you dont wana do the devil hose
Didnt do the DEVIL hoses??????
nope sorry , customer denied
