Process of Building the Turbo
The process of building our MACHGRADE M139 550 and 600 turbochargers is a meticulous one, involving several stages of modification, assembly, and testing to ensure the highest quality and performance.
1. **Selection of Base Turbocharger**: We start with a genuine KKK turbocharger, known for its reliability and performance. This serves as the base for our modifications.
2. **Compressor Housing Modification**: The compressor housing is modified to accommodate our custom CNC billet compressor wheel. This modification is done with precision to ensure a perfect fit and optimal performance.
3. **Compressor Wheel Upgrade**: We replace the stock compressor wheel with a bigger, custom CNC billet compressor wheel with 6+6 blades. This upgrade allows for increased airflow, resulting in higher horsepower output.
4. **Turbine Housing Modification (M139 600 only)**: For the more extreme M139 600 version, we modify the turbine housing to accommodate a larger custom turbine wheel. This allows for better exhaust gas flow, contributing to the higher horsepower output.
5. **Seal Plate Modification**: The seal plate is modified to ensure a perfect fit with the upgraded components and to maintain the integrity of the turbocharger.
6. **Assembly and Balancing**: Each component is assembled with precision, and the core as a whole is dynamically balanced. This ensures smooth operation and longevity of the turbocharger.
7. **Testing**: After assembly, the turbocharger undergoes rigorous testing to ensure it meets our performance and reliability standards. This includes testing for power output, response time, and durability.
8. **Final Inspection and Packaging**: The final product is inspected for any defects and then carefully packaged for shipping.
Please note that while the M139 550 version is fully Plug&Play, the M139 600 version requires slight adjustment of oil and cooling lines.

Remember, to achieve the power output the turbo is optimized for, you must ensure all the supporting mods are in place. This includes taking care of other systems, like fuel, exhaust, and cooling. An ECU remap is also necessary to take full advantage of the hardware upgrades.

Notably, even a fine-tuned ECU can be overridden by the CPC. Hence, a simultaneous upgrade of both the CPC and the ECU is essential to fully capitalize on performance enhancements, including what our turbo offers. Have you synchronously updated or tweaked your CPC module in alignment with your prior adjustments?
