- Hello friend! Thanks for watching
Rate my work from 1 to 10. It's important to me
Friends, my name is Vanya! I am the author of the channel HandCraft.
On this channel I present everything that I have done with my own hands.

Hi, how do you like the idea and how I executed it?
Rate it from 1 to 10. It's important to me)
I'd call it a 7. It's a pretty neat idea to rig up a pre-filter like that.
I'm an amateur, not qualified to rate it numerically, but I rate the idea and your workmanship "wow!!!"
I find your content very useful
Nice workmanship and details. However it's a bit complicated for the average woodworker. It's easier just to switch the hose than to make this.
No question about it i have worked in a factory making garden Sofas tables and chairs and i would so mutch like to have your deveice insted of changing all the time so for that it is an easy 10 out of 10 ❤
This has made me decide never to watch another DIY video that doesn't tell you what it's about and makes you wait to the end to find out. 11 minutes of my life I won't get back!
There should be a way to skip to the last seconds of the video.
On my laptop I just skip to the last 30 seconds.
@@jacqueslemon Figure it out. Ask one of the seven year olds in your neighborhood to help you.
I never understand why you don't put what it is in the title? How do people search for this sort of thing if you've given no clue?
EXACTLY…….this has absolutely nothing to do with the picture shown! Have no idea how I would find this when I want it!
Clickbait pictures.
I check once and if the clickbait is off, i block the channel permanently.
Bye.
It seems as if channels give no thought to their titles or thumbnails, as if they don't matter. I downvote and unsubscribe and block the channel unless it's one so good I am willing to tolerate it.
Click bait. Downvote.
What a god damned waste of time!!👎
5/10. And I hate videos that don't say upfront what the product is.
great planning and execution -- good project if i had the $20,000 worth of equipment
My first thought after seeing the "10$" price.
Yup
You can make great ten dollar items with a complete shop.
He used a router, a grinder, and a hand drill...
@@DavidHodgesKU11 drill press - bandsaw - tablesaw - quite a few different accessories for each tool -- and yes $20,000 was an exaggeration - and a usable workshop
@@tgward313 Sure, he had a drill press add on and a hole saw for the drill. But you can do everything he did with those tools and no need for the shop. Forest for the trees my dude.
Cool design, but that would cost way more than $10.00 to build.
But 10dollers is nothing compared to damage to the lungs, money is nothing compared to health
It would have more interesting if the title of the video explained wtf was being made!
But that way you might not watch to the end and they wouldn't get "full credit!"
I still don't know what it is 😂😂
Cool but I think I'll just use the vacuum on it's own.
New title: "Homemade dust extractor"
Needs a new cover photo, too.
I really like the exceptionally brilliant design and build project!
I agree with others in that it would have been nice to have known what the project was up front!
Well-done!
For those of us who don't need the final product, it would have been friendly to put a description in the title.
Or are you after clicks a dwell time?
Would have been more interested if you'd put dust extraction in the title!!
I had fun trying to figure out what your were making thanks!!! I also like how you didn't bounce the camera around trying to be fancy!!! I was actually able to watch all the way through.
And let’s not forget that it’s $10 only if you already have all of the necessary tools, which I’m guessing most folks don’t.
This is a nice project. A few things:
1) Please do an intro and explain what you are going to build. I had to fast forward to even understand what you are making!
2) Please link to a measured drawing so those of us that want to make it, can.
Other than that, it is a well-done video. Make those changes and I would subscribe.
You would need to use the exact fittings he's using if you want to go by his measurements but the principle is all one needs to know. Ie.Trace & cut diameters to the size of the fittings you are going to use (allow for grommets or rubber cuffs as he referred to them).
I rate the idea a 10, and your execution a 10. This is pretty cool!
Wow! brilliant idea. Well done.
10 out of 10, brilliant design and construction.
Thank you for appreciating my work so much!

Very nice job but you could buy a Y valve for $15 and spend your time making something that maximizes the value of your time.
The cyclone dust collector does this job great
If it something you're designing and building for yourself , it's a great project . Never mind what the negative types say 👍
I'm digging it! I'll give it a 9!
10 out of 10! I really enjoyed this build.
Brilliant work, Vanya! Really well done!!! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
11 minutes I will never get back.
I know the feeling...
I'm glad I didn't want to duplicate this.
Nice cyclone dust removal build. I actually bought a Dust Deputy and like it. But your design proves equally good. To use either one of them with my table saw, I have to seal up all the open areas the saw has. And I haven't done that yet. Thumbs Up!
10, and I agree that doing things yourself not only give you a sense of pride, it also gives you more flexibility to build what you need, that could have been a rotating gate with 4 to 6 inlets
Very sleek and effective. I over engineer things for fun and they dont really serve much purpose. Wood is not always cheap, but. Pallets are free all the time if you know the right people. The crafting community seems to be pretty awesome about sharing knowledge and ideas and in some cases materials that dont really serve a purpose and would be burned or thrown away. 10 for craftsmanship and seeing a problem and building a solution. Materials last their life time. Ability and experience last your lifetime. Unless you make a video and share the knowledge. Boom another lifetime
When using holes saws, try blowing compressed air onto the hole saw itself to prevent the wood from burning. It drills better, faster, saves the hole saw, and your finished product looks better. I like to use a Loc-Line setup so I don’t have to hold it. Hope this helps.
Also works great for cutting and routering/machining aluminum and/or other non-ferrous materials
Nice job on this by the way.
Super cool! You’re very smart!
Yes you could buy a readymade version but where’s the fun in that? Great design and if it’s done with recycled materials, you’re doing your part for the planet. 😊
Well you asked for it...I'd say 15 out of 10 ...excellent job...
10 un conmutador para aspiración, simplemente genial.
Pretty cool !!
Just adds more hoses to trip over in the shop. When you're through with a project, sweep the floor. When the table saw starts running out in the floor, vacuum it out. Same with the joiner.
Super Idee vielen dank vor das schöne Video und viele Grüße aus Nürnberg
10 + 10!
I love your take on a cyclone it looks and works great
Супер, молодец ❤
Well done production. ! No annoy music ,commentator was easy on the ears. LOL. . Camera work was great ! Hope you make enough money on this to get yourself a 3 D printer.. and expand your tool portfolio. ! Cheers. ! To you and future projects ,coming out of your shop ! Have. A. FUN. DAY. !!
Hi, great job as usual! I liked your idea of switching the air flap, quickly and simply 👍
Muito bom !🇧🇷
10 out of 10!
Thank you for such a high assessment)
espetacular o seu trabalho, parabéns
Its a 12 out of ten for the craftmanship. Little bit over kill for a dust collector
It`s an 11....awesome, Dude....great idea...greetz from Germany🤘
Awesome work!!💪🏼😊
Thanks for the assessment!

Tell me your a genius without telling me your a genius
Respect !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Figured it out very early. Quality build but maybe overkill and a little small overall. Enjoyed the good video and quality work rate it 10 out 10 but unlikely to go to the trouble of building as I just swap my vac to whatever major tool I'm using.😮
interessant , saubere arbeit
Creative video, thank you :)
interesting , Thank You.
Very cool!
Yeah it appreciated millions of people.😊😊
not all at once)
@@hand_craft it WAS appreciated
@@hand_craft or will be appreciated by.
Interesting. Well executed. Having to think about this. Thank you.
Top notch job, you could probably source one for a few $s, however nothing beats making your own and using it!! 10/10. Where did you source the rubber grommet's from, a link would be helpful 👏👏
Good skills, good machines, but I have no idea what was made or what it is used for.
I give it a ten out of ten for ingenuity and craftsmanship, but to be honest unless you have unlimited time on your hands, it would make much more sense to just spend $50 and buy one!
Thank you for your high appreciation! I agree, sometimes it's easier to buy. But doing something with your own hands is twice as pleasant!
Love it! 10 out of 10 😊 it looked like you had so much fun making it too 😁💙
Or us pvc pipe
I don’t believe it’s about saving money, it’s about being able to manufacture something from an idea to completion with your own skills.
It's exercise for your brain in a good way!
Excellent❣
Do you recomend Metabo hoover?
10 ! The Idea is great
Very cool and ingenious! $10 to build as long as you have $10,000.00 worth of equipment
Could do it with $500 in tools. The plywood was probably $10, but the elbows and rubber gaskets were over $100.
And more
Good idea. I like this. 10 for me.
Sehr gut gemacht.
Luvit. Good work!
Sawdust vacuum, pretty cool.
Overhead outfit would cost a bunch.
My neighbor spent a bunch to have his saws and vacuum installed for his basement woodshop.
Excellent construction work - I especially liked your little router setup: but not ten bucks, despite what another commenter said, not unless you have most of the pieces already laying around. Pretty complicated for what it does (Are you an engineer?) Anyway, I liked it. #7.
I rate it awesome 😮😊, wonder if it would work for the 735 planer ?
3D print hose attachments with magnets, and switching hoses between devices is even easier...
I will make one of those soon
I’m jealous of those pants and all the cargo that you can carry
Pretty clever
Grazie bella idea do un 10
La replico volentieri
10 sur 10
Really cute toy but you never showed the inside of the vacuum cleaner to see what got by your collector
That was it?
A fascinating video but what is the point of the device when you could have a single connection and simply empty the barrell when the barrell's full and then reconnect the hose?! How long would that take? !
Nice idea, interesting design
Now all you need is a real table saw and fence.
I give you a 9/10 at least, just because nobody is perfect.
$10 if you have about $100 worth of stuff. Still very clever and well done.
At least in Europe it ist impossible to get the material used in this project for 10€.
you are amazing and a genius , you should sell it
Nifty! And a nine.
There is a parsimony to building something yourself which you can then alter, upgrade or simply repair whenever you desire.
Either you are a DOCTOR of Engineering or Einstein Reincarnate or you didn't sleep for the last decade while thinking of this.
Wow awesome. I need to build this. After calculating it's costing me $9.99 cents so he is right. 😂
I will just use the broom as I have the last 48 years
Amazing what can be done with just 10 dollars.
and 20 + years of woodworking experience.
Rube Goldberg would be proud!
Just make yourself an adapter to go on top of your regular wheelie bin, lemon squeezy. It can be used for everything, wet or dry.
No idea what you were building but in the end it turns out all this work is only good if you have two tools that make dust.
For me it's worth an 11 . 😃
By the way, what are the references of the black rubber sealings and the large blue baril?
Great concept and craftsmanship as always with such videos but again always requiring way too many tools, careful planning and attention to detail for a ok but basic product. Misleading title.
How much stays in the barrel and how much goes to the vacuum?
Good gizmo. But REALLY? Who would bother ...well done anyway. I gave up after 5 mins .wouldnt it be easier just to buy an extractor thinger? BUT I bet you enjoyed making it😊
You built a portal to another dimension?
Did you learn how to do the cut in the barrel lid from This Old Tony?
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
