Great idea! The first catchment the debris goes into is for heavier debris/material. To me this acts like a P trap in liquid plumbing, but this is for air. Should give great longevity to the main shop vacuum cleaner. Thank you for sharing.

hi bro, you hit the lid of the barrel until your work table has a hole 7:51..keep up your creative ideas from wood media, I am very entertained watching all your videos..i give you 10~malaysia boy🇲🇾
Greetings from the Czech Republic. I've been following you for a long time and it's already some kind of Friday. like and comment are in order. Your ideas are educational, interesting. I give a thumbs up. Have a nice day..
The hole in the central pipe looks like it would suck dust into the vacuum as it is falling down from your inlet pipe maybe add a 90 degree elbow pointed down so it's less likely to suck in. I love the switch !! 👍👌
Very interesting video. The result seems to be very efficient but overly complicated to build for a novice weekend woodworker like myself. Still, I enjoyed watching, learned a few tips, decided to spend a few jours in m'y workshop and suscribed to your channel.
This could also be a Portable AC. Fill the blue container with block ice and put a fan on top then put the vac. hoses where ever you need them. Zoned AC. 🙂
9. I like the idea of a splitter (aka multi hose connector), but how much harder is it to unplug one hose and plug in another hose vs moving the lever? 💖🌞🌵😷

Well. That's not my definition of simple. Many hundreds of pounds of tools and a (very) skilled workman working for about £10 / hr to make the equivalent of a second wet / dry vac. Beautifully made and designed, lovely demonstration of your skills, but a practical use of a day's worth of my time - sorry - I'll nip to screwfix for another cheap vac.
I was with you right up until you showed debris in the blue barrel that could NOT have possibly come from either saw! Faking any part of this throws the whole project into doubt! SMDH

Excellent project Sir.
Brilliant, great bit of kit.

Very good. I like it. I do have cyclones for some of my tools, but I like the idea of your switch
I think it is superb. I have been using similar system for my vacuum when I work on my wood lathe. Yours is a definite improvement though.
Richtig gut. Ich werde es nachbauen. Ist für mich wichtig. Danke!
Those hammers that make those perfect cuts - i need one of those.
Yes me as well!!
Did the hammers make the cuts or just knock the pieces already cut by the pencil?
Lolol

Great design. The only thing I would do differently is 3D print the components.

What is it doing that the shop vac can’t do by itself, apart from taking up more space in the workshop ???

I'm curious... When exactly did the plastic pipe start appreciating all those people?
Einfach genial👍darauf muss man erstmal kommen
Nice project. However, the chips in the bin are too big for what you've just cut. They would have got stuck in your gate valve.
This vid does not relate to your cover picture.🤪

I never knew you could use mayonnaise as a wood glue!
How we can separate the fine wood-dust from the bigger wood-parts. Nice performance to burn the yellow tools in our minds😅
This is a Minion ....isn't it?
Seems like a lot of effort when you could just plug the hose into the tool in use.
How did you get wood shavings and wood chips from a circle saw and a table saw?
I call clickbait and not a simple idea as advertised.
THESE shavings come from the saw???? Ups.
yeah, sure... at 10:00 it is saw dust...

First I thought you build a potato Canon
I was with you right up until you showed debris in the blue barrel that could NOT have possibly come from either saw! Faking any part of this throws the whole project into doubt! SMDH
What's so strange about that? Then I vacuumed the floor, which is littered with shavings and dirt, there is no falsification!
@@hand_craft Then show that! You left us thinking you were showing the efficiency of your build....deceptive....
@@oldschooldiy3240 Honestly, I didn't think that the presence of wood shavings would bother anyone)
