Typhon is equated with the egyptian deity Set. All pagan gods could be related but separated via space because of their family lineage and not wanting their "worship" to be conflicted or overtaken by their cousins so to speak. But they probably all had equivalents in eachothers religions just incase one pantheon lost follows/worshippers and had to dip, rather than being alone they joined the rest of their families in their families pantheons. this could actually make a great storyline for the next god of war. The surviving olympians fled to egypt and have banded with the egyptian gods which will make it a much more difficult fight for kratos.

People: Egypt is cool
Greece: Yeah no that was us
Oh so the Egyptians think that the gods in animal forms were their gods, I see that now
Makes you wonder if it’s atleast some test to see instead of ph your tiger? All praise!!
Bro said “I’m trying to change the narrative” bro WHAT💀😭
This should be thought in history class, really something everyone should know
How when it's not true learn your history bro 😂
It is not historically accurate beyond being the belief of the Greeks. Egypts pantheon came first.
Guys, It’s from the really myth but the myth got many version so you get the idea right?
Hello to all of my brothers 🇪🇬🤜🤛🇬🇷.
Hold on where was this written and recorded?!
Made up.
That's cool
So the Greek gods that claim to be all-powerful fled in fear rather than battling the creature head on.
To be fair. It goes to show how bad the monster was when escape was a better option
Greek gods have the same desires and weaknesses as humans. Fear, jealousy, anger etc you name it. And they did battle the creature head on. The myth goes that Zeus either sent him to Tartarus in the end or covered him with Aitna volcano. They mention it as the hardest battle though
Awesome art.
Gg explaination
Typhon is equated with the egyptian deity Set. All pagan gods could be related but separated via space because of their family lineage and not wanting their "worship" to be conflicted or overtaken by their cousins so to speak. But they probably all had equivalents in eachothers religions just incase one pantheon lost follows/worshippers and had to dip, rather than being alone they joined the rest of their families in their families pantheons. Some joined violently and some joined peacefully.
This is 🧢🧢🧢🧢
Still a much better storytelling and connecting plot points than God of War.
The biggest and strongest of all the guy is children Typhon, the embodiment of pure darkness itself
"ZEUS YOUR SON HAS RETURNED I BRING THE DESTRUCTION OF OLYMPUS"
Ares-Set
Poseidon-Sobek
Afrodita-Bast
Apollo-Ra
Hermes -Anubis…
I think Zeus should be Ra . Correct me if I'm wrong
Sobek is female
@@ss-gt7ky Zeus didn’t left
Helios should be Ra instead of Apollo.
@@legostudio6663 ahh! Now it makes sense. Thx!
Can't wait until Kratos finds out...
This is misleading as the Greeks learned from and took A LOT from Egypt.... Zues' full name is Zues Amun (Amun being from the older Egyptian society) the Greeks got a lot of their gods from the Egyptians
No the Greeks like many other places in Eurasia all got their gods from the proto indo european legends that started from th proto indo european people that lived in modern day ukraine, before Egypt was even building pyramids... which is why from india to Scandinavia the stories and languages are all similar, their religions and language developed from the proto indo europeans....

Yes
Is this real?
Yes documented fact
yes obviously😑❗
LoL. Even Aphrodite aka Inana came from a much older civilization. That's why she is considered to be older than Zeus.
Whaaaaaaa? Is this for reals?
It’s from the really myth but the myth got many version so you get the idea right?
If you read the Histories by Herodotus he states that many of the Greek god actually came from Egypt, not vice versa
Santa Monica for the next God of war series: not only do I have a plan, but I got an idea!
I had been meaning to look this up on the net and lo, it pops up in my YT shorts.
In modern days this would be close to when the DC and Marvel universes team up.
I love how every monster a god spawn is literally more powerful than the gods themselves
Calling Greek God's as Egyptian is like saying Dota 2 is a copycat knockoff of League of Legends
The Greeks really loved making fun of other people's pantheons.
This was referenced in Persona 3 with Yukari Takeba's base persona, Io becoming Isis when her social rank is maxed out.
A historical way of saying “aight imma head out”
Greek fled to Egypt. Sounds like a confession to me.
Yes, the Egyptian gods predate Greek ones, but the guy in the video says that 'through this myth the Greeks explained the fact the Egyptians worshipped gods, and that they could not have been so prosperous if it weren't for their own Greek gods to help them." Because for any civilization, there are no other gods beside their own.
this could actually make a great storyline for the next god of war. The surviving olympians fled to egypt and have banded with the egyptian gods which will make it a much more difficult fight for kratos.
This explanation also subtly showcases the Greeks viewing their gods as stronger than the Egyptian ones because Zeus (the strongest Olympian) did not flee and did not have an Egyptian counterpart
Only problem here is the gods of Ancient Kemet existed before the Greek Gods. They even existed back before Zeus was called Ethios
Kratos : A good god is a dead one.
Typhon's weapon was the Flood
What story is this please
Wow the very first crossover story..
