Not sure I agree with you on this. If you're old enough to eat the chicken nuggets, surely you are old enough to see how they are prepared? Also in the olden days, parents probably taught their kids, how to hunt, kill and prepare animals for food. Also if you have an entire chicken or fish in the middle of the dinner table, you are pretty much cutting up a dead body of an animal in front of your kids anyway.

Holding a screen and a video in public is not covered under the enforcement of Tv licensing which are simply governments way of giving more money to them when they do not even own the transport network that TV is streamed on these days anyway. I think I know which video they're showing; I'm a 31 year old woman and when I first saw those images I felt very upset and distressed, so goodness know how a child would react to them. I honestly can't believe they're broadcasting something so gruesome and cruel in a public area. Yes, educate children but don't traumatize them in the process - respect their innocence and educate them in an appropriate manner.

The little nippers a tucking into factory farmed chickens at an early age, not partaking of the poonani. I do find it concerning that kids see this, but I find it more concerning what they are doing to animals in factory farming. I'm not a vegan, I grew up eating meat, I consider myself normalised to the torture and killing of factory farmed animals for my eating pleasure. But I whilst I have no hope for myself going vegan any day soon, I sincerely hope the next generations can do better and this sort of activism gives me hope.

I've got a confession. I had the most delectable lamb chops this evening. Sprinkled with some black pepper, lightly salted, drizzled in olive oil and cooked under the grill for 20 minutes. They were wow..... However, I am aware that at least one animal had to lost its life to provide me with that experience. If I could chose I would most definitely chose "No Meat". However, the irony is that without the demand for their flesh for human consumption these animals would go extinct.

Not sure I agree with you on this. If you're old enough to eat the chicken nuggets, surely you are old enough to see how they are prepared? Also in the olden days, parents probably taught their kids, how to hunt, kill and prepare animals for food. I think I know which video they're showing; I'm a 31 year old woman and when I first saw those images I felt very upset and distressed, so goodness know how a child would react to them. The little nippers a tucking into factory farmed chickens at an early age, not partaking of the poonani. I do find it concerning that kids see this, but I find it more concerning what they are doing to animals in factory farming. I'm not a vegan, I grew up eating meat, I consider myself normalised to the torture and killing of factory farmed animals for my eating pleasure. But I whilst I have no hope for myself going vegan any day soon, I sincerely hope the next generations can do better and this sort of activism gives me hope.

If you do not mind me sharing; a well-planned, organic, unrefined and untempered with vegan diet (consuming raw plant foods where possible so as not to denature or destroy the life-forces and enzymatic activities beneficial to the human system. If disagreeing on this matter, please take some steamed carrots, plant them and see if they will grow; if not, it is because they are 'dead' plant food that cannot benefit one's 'living' cells) consisting of organic fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts, seeds and whole grains is the best diet to provide mankind with ultimate health and longevity.
Regarding the whole protein concern for vegans is exaggerated from gathered information especially that there are 'high protein' plant food sources e.g nuts and legumes; People showing signs of deficiencies e.g those showing signs of anorexia, actually need plant food sources such as starchy carbohydrates that help with weight gain than protein.
I highly encourage being a sceptic, research things for yourself, and you will find out that the diet shared with you is actually for your own good (even if it means making small changes here and there, i would encourage) e.g processed meats are classified as carcinogenic to humans in Group 1, which is as bad as it can get, where as plant foods are classified as anti-cancer foods.
Please avoid factory produced meat alternatives whose chief ingredient can be 'soy' and may contain preservatives as well as additives (e.g vinegar, a corrosive agent). Food toxicity and nutrient deficiency (e.g white bread, white rice and white sugar) are a deadly combination as one is hindering the body's building materials needed to action healing whilst at the same time taxing the system with more toxic stuff, thus bringing about disease and possibly even an early death.

I've got a confession. I had the most delectable lamb chops this evening. Sprinkled with some black pepper, lightly salted, drizzled in olive oil and cooked under the grill for 20 minutes. They were wow..... However, I am aware that at least one animal had to lost its life to provide me with that experience. If I could chose I would most definitely chose "No Meat". However, the irony is that without the demand for their flesh for human consumption these animals would go extinct.

Surely showing these images in public could be in breach of the Indecent Displays (Control) Act 1981, The Obscene Publications Act 1959, Outraging public decency, contrary to common law and Section 5(3) Criminal Law Act 1977

I agree with the message totally, but I also uphold that the minds of our children should be protected, and that's the same reason footage like this would be after the watershed if shown on TV, to protect the most innocent and delicate of minds from the nastiness that exists in the world. The same is true of wars fought with weapons sold by the West, it happens, and children should be educated, but education at such a young age of the darker side of humanity should not include visualisation.

Parents MUST be allowed to choose what their children get to witness!! There should be no argument there!
… If this group had chosen a cinema to show their “animal torture films”, then each and every parent would have had that choice. ... By showing these films in the middle of the High Street, or even in their classrooms, they are excluding parents from practicing their lawful and just rights!

Until you made your very relevant point AB, I thought they're working from the same angle of British law than you are, freedom of expression. However, after watching and the fact I have children, you made a very valid point. Shock the adults by all means but in a public place like this, I wouldn't want my 3 y/o witnessing what is on their screens as I'm a responsible father and it's not age-appropriate, exactly like your porn analogy.
When exercising any of our freedoms and rights we all still have a moral responsibility to be acting appropriately and reasonably.
