Sometimes it can be embarrassing being caught being afraid on stream, and she could have jokingly "confirmed" that it was all a big ruse, to save her pride.

Being the character Kronii has been (not like IRL Kronii, but whenever she streams and interacts with her public), yeah that would've been funny.
But she did mention it was pretty late so some might've been sleeping during the stream; I get it if she wanted to be clear that by no means she'd take a joke that far and that's fine too and I respect it.
Still, it's always 3 am somewhere, so who knows? maybe even if she was streaming earlier somebody else could've sleeping anyway, but that's not the point.

Idk if it was fake or not (and it doesn't matter to be honest), but there are plenty of good reasons to fake it. The main one being clippers
At 1:53 it's fun how we can see when she starts to scoot back towards the desk.
Also on the reaction thing, her order of actions are completely reasonable to a situation like that. She sees the spider, is shocked and monitors its action, and once it starts moving towards her the panic sets in.

When I saw people accusing her of faking it, I worried that she'd share a picture of it or something as proof.
Honestly, just from hearing her you could tell it was genuine reaction. If that was acting then she deserves an award.
It's funny that she brought up Zelda's skulltulas, that's exactly what I thought of when she said it was spinning. The ones in Ocarina really creeped me out as a kid (that hut in Kakariko, I didn't want to go in it). I guess it was spinning around while hanging from a web.
I think I found it more funny when she yelled "I'm gonna die!" because, of course she isnt, but I totally get that feeling, lol.

I've heard her try to fake a gwak during Gura's live. This was totally legit.
I forgot how well Kronii stream equipments are. Among every HoloCouncil when they started their debut, Kronii movement are the most fluid and smoothest. No wonder in this stream/clip when she's move back 2-3 meters away, her movement are still smooth. oh also the mic to are very sensitive and really produce clean sound

Clip bait, and they are right it was a 100% exaggerated reaction for clippers. Kiara is BY FAR the most guilty of faking shit for clip bait. "Oh no I pressed F to jump out of a moving vehicle in GTA for the third time!"
What's there not to gain? The live audience clearly loved her reaction, and the clippers made her gain visibility too. There's barely any negatives to faking a reaction if you don't do it all the time(and even if you do, some people will still like it. See old-school Pewdiepie and other reaction-streamers).
What I don't get is the atmosphere of "truth" and "accusation" and the weird witch-hunt going on. Like, who cares whether she faked it or not? She's an entertainer. Does it really matter? It's not like her faking it or it being a real reaction has any impact on anyone's lives. Just enjoy it or ignore it at based on your personal response, no need to make a huge fuss about it either way.

Honestly i did think it was fake becuase of the intonations in her voice in the beginning but at the end where she backs away from the pc that the tracking couldn't pick her up anymore made me think it was genuine...besides ive seen similar and worse reactions irl

Ok look... going from personal experience and direct personal eye witness to how other people react to bigger than normal spiders... or even normal sized spiders... Kronii didn't fake anything. If she's jumpscared or in panic, she Gawks; if she's in fight-or-flight mode with a bigass breakdancing spider decending from her ceiling; she retreats like a normal human being.

My main takeaway from this is that her mic setup is kinda insane

How genuine it sounds is subjective, and there were parts of it that sounded fake to me. By the end of it, I wasn't entirely confident it was real. However, I've seen her enough to know her high energy reactions kind of sound that way to my ear, and I don't think she would fake it, personally. At least, I don't think she would fake it and act after the fact as if it were real, instead of saying it was a joke.
I certainly don't see how you could be so confident it was fake that it seemed justifiable to try to start shit. If you think it's fake, think that. If you think it was real, think that. It's not really something to argue about. No one has to watch her.

I blame her AC for the spinning. The faint air current affects spider hair that would make said spider spin so as to detect where tf is the air going and where that massive creature called The Warden of Time is freaking out from.
People that think Kronii was faking perhaps don't hang around enough women to witness this kind of thing (I'm sure some men are like this too, but I have not personally witnessed any scream like this). My ex would have actual panic attacks in response to insects, bats, and anything like that indoors. Once there was a bat in her parent's house when I was visiting and her AND her Mom both hid under a blanket screaming while I calmly caught the bat and released it. Fear is often irrational by nature, so you can't measure everyone by your own standards. Kronii was likely just as terrified as she sounded.

It makes sense as to why people thought it might be played up hyperbole, but it's consistent with how we've seen her react to stressful situations. Is it punched up? Probably, but in an authentic way from both having an audience and being tired.

I feel like the only reason why people think she faked it was because she doesn't sound like she was backing away. It painted a picture that she just screaming her life away but remained still. And they just didn't stop to think why or if it even made sense she would fake it.
