Most people: “the baby was sooo cute!”
Kronii: “The baby was alive and moving”
Well it's a very objective observation
and fresh
was?
Her mom's instinct is tingling. Quick! Give her child
@@MsEldariumright out of the oven.
Kronii talking about the most normal things in the least normal way possible, never fails to entertain.
have you ever seen one yourself? I think Kronii's reaction is on the same level to other people I've heard from.
@@bmo3778it’s more the words it’s moving and it’s alive
Me seeing a newborn baby for the first time was very unsettling too since a newborns body is relatively too small for its head but you'll get used to it eventually.
@@zeanolafboyopos1409 And how even a month old baby skull is not fully solid yet and you can literally see the skin on top of their head move with each breathe.

Just 5 minutes of Kronii calling a baby "fresh" instead of newborn until she gets reminded by chat.
TBF fresh babies are better than stale babies...jk
Good thing it's not frozen, that would be a problem.
"What a fresh, unripe baby this is."
That's the Freudian slip: she sees baby; she wants Subway.
Didn't Mumei said "fresh" at one point during her birthday stream?

"The design is very human".

I mean it’s a pretty accurate description 🤣
Something about her voice and delivery makes her story sound like this is the first time she has ever seen a baby human.
I mean the difference between newborns and say a week is way different bro, esp the size, the face is often fist sized (I have big hand) it's weird knowing that thing that smaller than your thigh can grow as big as yourself
Yeah, when my nephew was born vs a week later when they came home was a huge difference. Though some of that was they had to assist in delivery, which causes some bruising to the head. The bruises had pretty much healed when they came home.
It is
It's also sorta different when the baby is your family who will be seeing once in a while for probably the rest of your life rather than just some kid in a stroller going by who you will never see again.
Dude it looks like an actual extraterrestrial. It’s so different
Kronii: I've experienced Child birth......I was there for moral support
Kronii: childbirth? Pfft ez, you just have to encourage the mother
I've experienced child birth.... I was the baby
I kinda felt like that:
My bro and his wife opts for natural water pool birth.
He and his wife went to the hospital with the baby... while I cleaned up the tub, gathered the soup parts, and then sit there with sick covered arms thinking, "My B#$%!@# Brother just left me to clean this @#$%".

She spams the word fascinating
@@deltaarykrt520 She's obviously not just spamming the word "fascinating" (though she does say it a lot).

Right? The "cute cute cute" broken record just comes off as fake and shallow. Give me Kronii's genuine curiosity any day over that.
No.
"Humans create...smaller humans...Uhhh, NEWBORNS. Lost the word there." - Kronii, probably.
freshhhhhhh
It reminds me of the Fullmetal Alchemist bit when Ed was lost for words upon seeing the baby Winry helped deliver.
"Probably a kronie. And those, are.. smaller kronies 🤔"
Ultronii
“Wow, that seems rough.” Kronii witnessing a human in one of the most painful experiences not dissimilar to an alien chest burster.
Birth inspired the chest burster. I haven't seen Alien (a sin I know,) but from what I've heard there's a theme of twisted motherhood around the xenomorphs.
@@yumin_pluto558Yeah the whole alien implanting chestbursters is kind of an allegory/metaphor for being r4p3d and forced to carry the child to term. Horrific.
@@aroguebardThe shizzle I've seen on the internet has damaged me to the point where I'm not sure how serious to take this because there are people believing that pretty much every horror movie scene where something awful is happening to a woman is an allegory for grape.

How the fuck are baby born in america, me and my two siblings just popped right out without much issue. I've heard that doctors like to do c sections because it's more money for the hospital.
Kronii just talking about it like the "supportive but clueless father standing by" is the funniest thing.
Never though that a time warden would be fascinated by a newborn baby.
She had the same reaction when the universe was born XD
u mean fresh baby.
_The Warden leaned towards the ear of the fresh, human life._
_"Time comes for all..." she whispered while gesturing a throat-slitting motion across her neck._

I've often been told I sound like an alien learning about the human race, so I suppose it makes sense that I too would describe a baby as a "creature". Love the way she describes things here, especially forgetting the word "newborn" in favor of "fresh"

Kronii: Ah yes, nothing like a fresh baby to start my day.
Wake up and smell the babies...
Oh god change that daiper!
chat knew the word "newborn" & decided to not tell Kronii until like 5 minutes of her describing the baby as "fresh". Thank you Chat
As a father who has witnessed two births so far, she's not wrong.
It is very much "wow, huh?, what the fu..., aaaaw cute but what?"
Babies are indeed fascinating creatures
Wait till they cry in the middle of the night 😂
They said interesting, babies are still annoying
Everything she said makes perfect sense to me.
When the baby is fresh out of the oven, it feels like there are no lights on behind their eyes.
After a couple of weeks, it feels like someone's home in there, and that's when it feels more like a full-fledged human I think.
They start showing a personality and you can slowly communicate with them more and more.
It is a truly fascinating experience.
I personally never cared about or for babies until people I love had some and I got to be a part of their development. Now I love them and I smile whenever I see a baby.
Everybody understood, it was just the way she couldn't put into words that was funny.
Kronii provides a much-needed sense of perspective to our lives. A cosmic perspective.
"It's life, Jim, but not as we know it."
Guys, she is literally a TIME WARDEN. Childbirth IS alien to her.
Damn. Kronii is so chill when describing a huge event that occurred in her life. Baby's are indeed human.
Kronii talks like a human facsimile created in a lab that didn't come out quite right.
Homonculous, Kromonculous
"You admire it"
"I admire its purity" said Kronii, an employee at Weyland Yutani
I too would be flabbergasted and at a loss for words if I witnessed childbirth front and center too. Such an event is both so common and yet so alien (intended word choice here) to us, a mysterious miracle if you will.
Side note: boros looks cute laughing when Kronii does the same, the little guy 🐍
"oh my god. It's a baby. A HUMAN BABY!!"
Kronii is giving me General Morehead vives from Vivisector right now.
"Its okay curt see she's just sleeping"(proceeds to go on some bizarre philosophical rant about the ocean)
Nah I get her disbelief, genuinely when meeting with a newborn for the first time it’s like meeting a worm. Obviously (if you’re not a psychopath) you know instinctually to be careful and want to keep them safe but there’s very little interaction in that meeting. Unless you’re actively the primary caregiver be it the parent or even just taking over to give mom and dad a break there’s very little to do but observe.
Her entire way of describing the whole thing and her feelings about it is so bizarre, yet so genuine and understandable. Man, I just lmao'd really hard throughout this entire clip.
babies are indeed strange little things (affectionate). Some of my nieces and nephews who I first met as infants are in high school now and whenever I meet them I can't help but think: "Wow you're fully sentient now."
It's just mind-blowing to me how I can have proper conversations with these former wailing potatoes.
We are meat computers... O_O
as someone who just became an uncle last week, I can agree with basically every opinion stated in this video
It's nice to see another creature gets fascinated by another small creature of it's own kind. Truly one of the creatures moment
It's these kinds of "fresh baby" tangents that make me enjoy Kronii so much. Happy to hear she's enjoying being a Time Aunt.
'Yep. That's a child alright. Fascinating, what an organism.'
No, no I see where she's coming from. When my nieces were born I was just so amazed by these little things I knew held so much potential for a life to lead and I would get to watch them grow, it can be either baffling or humbling, depending on the day. She still verbalized it weird, but I get it
Honestly as someone who has recently become an uncle I totally get where she's coming from.
Kronii is going to make a great aunt. 😆
Yup she's that crazy auntie
As weird as she makes it sound, I totally get her. Babies are always human, but there's a point during development where they get a light in their eyes and start to become people. When they gain an awareness of the world surrounding them and stop merely reacting to the simplest stimuli. Right now it may be very cute, but it is also kind of just a lump
I've heard them described as "noisy stinky houseplants".
Kronii learns the miracle of life.
“It can’t do anything, but it’s looking at me” is a good way to describe a baby.
Fresh baby just killed me 😂
I mean it’s worth noting that Kronii basically is a full step beyond an alien, she’s a walking talking concept 🤣
I totally get her lmao. I don't like babies and would rather not be around them, but when I am there's just something inside me that tells me: "that thing's pretty cool and alive, you should probably try and keep it that way"
Just wait until you see them as they fling them up into the air by their feet and catch them under their armpits.
Probably a lot of the aversion some people have towards babies stems from how we live in smaller-than-traditional units... there's not enough of a "team" around the baby to support all the urgent needs it can't possibly verbalize, so we get more of the wailing and the sleepless parents than there should be. Frankly babies probably shouldn't be taken on shopping trips or plane rides either, but remain comfortably at home with a caretaker... this would also cut down on public irritation. I've come around to see the "extended family" habitation pattern as the only correct option, but sadly everything in society, economy, and real estate is geared against it, probably to sell more units.
@@MrCantStopTheRobot this is such an underrated take. The western-style nuclear family has some benefits in freedom and individuality for the children but I have to admit the eastern big family method works better for the parents and the older generation.
JP Translators going "...please tell me I heard that wrong. For the love of Matsuri, please tell me I heard that wrong."
Kronii's friend: *going through one of the most painful and exhausting experiences a human could go through*
Kronii: "Wow that seems rough."
"A fresh baby... The design is very human."
Yeah, get where she's coming from. 100%. But it's still so funny to hear her describe things in this way. Kronii is a good streamer.
Baby right out of the factory is very unique. The softness, the smell, the way they look at things with curiosity yet does not have the ability to comprehend it yet.
"A fresh human, fascinating."
"What ho, fellow humans! I too know of babies! They are soft with a gooey center! Best when fresh!"
I think that's just how Kronii's describing her maternal instinct
I imagine if we're the babies, she'd look at us like "what are you?" "Why is this one pulling my finger?" "Why are you moving like crazy?"
I doubt it
So like that woman in Parasyte who was fascinated about how to breed and about motherhood.
Yeah, i kinda see Kronii being like that

Babies should probably spend a little longer in the meat coccoon, so they're closer to walking after birth like most mammals... but our bipedal structure makes hips a limiting factor. Also why wide hips are probably furthest on the "primal" end of attractive female traits. Heroin-chic is an enormously late shift, like evolutionary hipsterism.
Nice, I call them Tiny gross humans, I think they should be protected and raised correctly but my OCD and other things make me want as little to do with them as possible
I can't believe i feel relatable to Kronii for this particular topic lmao
man, even though I'm not a fluent english speaker, I've related a lot with this, and also thought to describe the baby as "fresh" and I lmao when she said it too

I did have the same feeling when I first met my niece. Very surreal to see a living wiggling tiny human only a few days old staring back at you.
At least now we know where to put Kronii on the Hololive Babysitter tier list.
its cool to know I have a kindred spirit in Kronii when it comes to human babies. wow. Fascinating creature.
Nothing like witnessing a miracle unfold, truly the gift of life!
Kronii: 'underdeveloped human, creature, 'just there that can't do anything', 'doesn't feel human', fresh baby'
Me: Jesus, Kronii, a human PROTOTYPE, ffs.
Chatter: 'newborn is a word lol'
Kronii and me: well shit
Bro was spittin' 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥⁉️
As a fairly new uncle, I had a similar reaction to Kronii. I wasn't there for the birth, but seeing the baby later, I was like "what do I do with this other than hold it and make faces?" My instincts kept telling me to talk to it like a dog, say, like "good boy" and pat his head since I can talk to him but he can't respond with words, but that feels stupid, especially when my sister is talking to him a lot more naturally. And it makes sense to talk to it like a normal person, since that is how they learn to talk.
I'm on board with her sentiment here. Fresh newborns are _weird_ little things. Lovable, but weird, like little beetle grubs you can become attached to.
My main problem was the fear of holding said newborn. It's scary when you don't know how much or little force to apply... in basically every touch.
Same energy from that scene in Terminator 2 where the T-800 saw a toddler for the first time then he picks it up like a cat grabbing it on the back of its clothes and looks at it in confusion.
Fresh baby creation is such a majestic activity
I actually relate to this thought process so much
Kronii motherly instinct kick in and she doesn't even know how to react lol
meanwhile Mumei: "have you guys heard about baby chainsaw?"
There is a scientist inside Kronii!
Popping out a living, active version of yourself that was alive while also being induced another living, active version of yourself really is a truly a wild thing
I think most people forget that seeing it is very different from passively knowing that the process exists. The miracle of childbirth is an amazing thing, and this person who already struggles has to describe a whole shift in view from that miracle
"Fresh baby" does make it sound like the baby was born already wearing fashionable clothing, though
"It's like you meet an animal, but the same kind as you and you can't communicate with it"
That sounds like a foreigner to me
The transition from fresh soggy creature to adorable tiny human is kind of profound.
Can Not Wait For Our Kid Kronii!
To be fair she is a time Goddess so of course she doesn’t understand how human child birth works.
Just to say, as Kronii starts flying and time keeps passing by, maybe (or already) most vtubers or talents could be mothers. Im entirely unsure how to feel if my mother was a vtuber in the past, would it be cool or cringey? Im on the cool AF side.
But yeah babies can be creatures and aliens.
kronii sounds like an alien shopping for fresh human meat towards the end where she is describing how fresh the baby is
