I used to LOVE this game, and even the 2nd one too. Out of all the worlds in mario 3, this one was my favorite because it had the twisty-fortress, and had land and clouds. It was definately different. Good video

That opening level is one of the few levels in the entire game that has more than one way to exit. A lot of people say all the levels are Linear They're not

Actually, you can access 3 1-ups there. One is a visible block, the other two are hidden above the top of the screen.
