When is the prime time for squid fishing ? I’ve been having trouble at my usual squid spots lately I dunno why, but I’ve learnt that no swell, an hour before and after the peak of high tide. Usually if you get that at sunset I have found it to be the most productive. But what moon phases do you want, more tidal movement(full moon) or less tidal movement (dark moon or no moon however you say it)

For me i have better luck sunset, clearer water and plenty of baitfish closeby.
