Message from Nate's D&D Storage:
"I find this whole album to fit a whole stylistic, colorful transylvanian style of an area. Filled with lots of ghosts, ghouls, and other supernatural beings."
Pilotredsun: “It’s a chronic build up of my favorite iron dust collection.”

My older brother passed a couple days ago and he was only 21, I'm 16 atm. He showed me this song a long time ago. I just now ran back into it and listened to it, it made me break down into tears
I'm sorry to hear that. Your brother had good taste in music
Thats sad rip
@Ezekiel Madron Honestly thank you so much for even putting your own time just to write that message. It sounds like your brother had it really hard and it affected you as well. I've definitely had my fair share of horrible life experiences and alot of them lead up to my brother doing it. Personally I don't really have a father figure myself bc my real father left when I was 4, and my step dad is verbally abusive. My mother left when I was 14 bc she had a mental break down and couldn't handle him anymore and just left to another state. So I'm not in the best situation and I really hope that things get better soon as I age. I wish the best of luck to you in the future.

This song goes through 4 different keys! I never realised it was so complex.
0:24 B♭ minor (main tune)
1:30 A♭ major (main tune with accompaniment)
1:42 B♭ major
1:54 E♭ minor (main tune again, notice the bassline is different to before!)
2:30 B♭ minor (main tune)
3:00 A♭ major (main tune with accompaniment)
3:12 B♭ major
3:24 E♭ minor (main tune)
The bassline change could be borrowing from a different mode, I'm not sure I'd call that a key change.
The final B flat is still minor though.
babe
@@Amber57499 Tonic change then?
really like when it goes on the second E♭ minor part
It never goes into any of those keys except for Bb major for the interlude section. The chord progression and bassline changes, but the key doesn't.

Ok
It's how I feel. Kinda melancholic.
I can't say the things I want to, I can't express the feeling I feel, this is where I'm at.
Melancholic is the perfect word, I think. But also, happy! Or maybe a distant happiness, like that of memories. I guess that is melancholic...
real
Maybe bittersweet?
This reminds me of winter 2017 when I would get off work and would play “Warsaw” as I explored the dollar store at night time while I was waiting for the bus. As I listen to these songs, I remember the cold breeze that blew as I walked through the cold winter night with my black coat and hoping my headphones would be enough to keep my ears warm as I gazed at the remaining lights of the 24 hour gym. When I rode the bus, I listened to this more as I passed by many stores already closed and places I visited like the old Piggly Wiggly which has closed last year after 30 years. How I miss those days.
I know some people wouldn’t be interested but if you were, thanks.

:(
pretty sure because of this:
the instruments used on the song
the silly rhythm that gives adventure vibes
the image in general, maybe specially the dog and the A+ on the fridge
feeling of being home alone with your dog and
the background on the window seeming like freedom and fun outside

Thank you man, it really means the most to me, even several months later, knowing that someone out there is happy for me. I have been through thick and thin the past few months and I can finally say that I am now happy and beginning to find the light in the dark. Always check up on your friends even the ones you don’t need to worry about. I’ve came a long way since my friends suicide and I am now a advocate for men’s mental health and suicide prevention along with many other postions on my campus. I guess the moral of the story is that you can’t control what life throws at you but you can control how you respond. Have a good life brother.

This song is one of my favorites from pilotredsun because it is weirdly nostalgic and unearths several different emotions as it progresses (it has a melancholic layer to it as well so maybe thats why I keep thinking about the past)

That is surprisingly true.
Fiend suddenly attacked!
The first time I heard this, I was in a bad way. My newly prescribed anti anx. And depr. Meds made everything worse. I had stopped taking them and replaced them with one of the dirtiest uppers out there. It was a first for me and a decision made on impulse. I was desperate to feel "okay". Anyways, I clicked on this and I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It was like someone found a way to make the music that was playing nonstop within my exhausted mind. I come here at least twice a week to hear it some more. Most times, I get very sad when I listen to this. The sadness never outweighs how beautiful this sounds. And the accuracy is... Mind boggling. The only other music that ever made me feel this way was Rickshaw by Cymande. Thank you.
this does feel like being a kid in warsaw
This song is unironically fire
I hope no one ironically enjoys this music. Pilotredsun’s music may come off as amateurish and childish from its chip tune tonality but his progressions, movements, and sense of beat are so fucking good and deserve to be seriously appreciated.
@@infraredradiator Same with his animations. Seems ugly to a lot of people, but amazing in my opinion
its still heat.
I'm not sure how one manages to portray nostalgia and cheerful melancholy into a track, but man does this track do it. Makes me think of all the ideas and stories I had as a kid, with only a vague storyline of "adventure", and I know I'll never have that same naïve, innocent creativity I once had.
I kept searching for this as "Krakow", FML

Subtle calvin and hobbes reference
I heard this song a long time ago, somewhere I can't pinpoint anymore. It still evokes the same feelings.
this song is so good they named a city after it
Brings to mind an oddly specific image: a black sleigh or stagecoach being pulled by a black horse trotting to the beat of the song, a wooded area in the background, everything is covered in snow and it's nighttime, a full moon, and the horse/coachman has a destination, but it's not clear where.
No idea why this track brings that to mind tbh. Probably partially due to the name of it.
seems like some heavy bloodborne vibes tbh
For me it brings the image of 2 pals venturing down a mountain cave with torches having a blast exploring. And at one point in the song they reach an underground dwarf bar filled with little gnomes with long beards drinking and dancing lmao
This comment is quite relatable to me. I tend to associate songs and feelings to imaginary locations that I have known for years. There never seems to be much story behind them in my case, which makes it even stranger. I'm glad that I am not alone in this mental phenomenon.

This sounds like a theme for a fast paced level that starts off sort of calm but eventually has something chase after you towards the end.
This song sounds passing through the barrier of time and watching back on your life as you slowly but surely ascend into nothing.
A representation of life and death, the regrets, the happiness, the fulfillment, the emptiness, yet somehow everything is woven together into a neutral experience.
i live near warsaw, and my grandma lives there, so i go there sometimes for weekends. when i'm about to go to sleep, i just look through window, and i kinda feel that melancholic feeling. 8.5/10

Only a man of true talent can make things so discordant yet so harmonic, both in their art and in their music.
I love this genre of music ❤
Honestly, it really sounds like walking trough Warsaw at night or early morning
especially main city and the old town square
i kinda love that there is so many significant tracks named after Warsaw. I'm German, but I lived there twice in my life and love to come back. There's this, there is that minimal Techno track by Berghain Resident Ben Klock, and then, of course, there is the David Bowie - Brian Eno Collaboration "Warszawa"
OH, and of course Warsaw was also the original name of Joy Division. There's something about the name that captures peoples imaginations... I used to think that was a unique impression of mine, given my long history with the city, but all these things point to a different truth. Can't say that Berlin, or even Moscow have managed that to any sort of comparable effect.

This song is the equivalent of being in a road trip to another country, it being 5am, the sun is rising and you just woke up on a car seat with your pillows and and being cozy with your quilt while getting a breakfast in the car and looking out the window.
Edit: long text short: this song reminds me of a road trip
1:53 just gives a sort of like sense of despair and still manages to make it really nice to listen to. songs that are actually able to do that are amazing.
always wondered why this song was called warsaw, if its at all intended to be about the horrors that city faced durring ww2 or if the title is supposed to be about romanticized memories of what warsaw currently is?
Now that you bring that up, That's got me wondering...
Or number 3, a cool name
it's probably a name he chose randomly, because in my case when i can't think of a title i just use a random word like "balls" or somethign
@@KeaneJ123 yeah honestly wouldnt surprise me. as someone who has composed music for my game in the past a lot of times i name it after a word i heard someone say earlier that day that stuck with me or a phrase which i feel like the song can be sung to? if that makes any sense. it might have just been that and i might have been overthinking it lol

i dont want to be cheesy, but anytime i hear this song it makes me have a nostalgic, sad, sentimental feeling. but also like a tragic past feeling? idk how to describe it, like you're looking out a car window on a rainy day thinging about the past, stuff that made you happy and the things that fcked up your life

Hardly think his music gives off a JD vibe, but I can picture him listening to them though.
Yess the empty synth
I sometimes let my music list play during the whole night when i go to sleep, one of those nights, i had this dream where i was a witch being scrificed by the old town citizens, but then i kept living as a ghost looking for the reason i didn't go to the other side and rest in peace, then realised i had to find the people who blamed me at first so they could kill me for being a witch, but right at the moment i was haunting these people, i woke up and this song was playing at that moment, the dream left me thinking a whooole lot and the song was part of that thinknig time, and fits so well. I still remember that dream each time i listen to this wonderful song.
This feels like a “I’m not okay, but I’m going to make it okay with music” type of song, And I’m all for it. It makes it feel like you’re in a cute little Pixel game where nothing can possibly go wrong, and it really makes you think. And all you can do is just. Sit and listen.
Well I’m still don’t know what this melody mean
This songs feels like, I don't really know but all I understand is that this songs feels like, if we were childs with a dream on mind and we start doing the hardest we can, it's like climbing a tall mountain, after all that effort I feel that in the minute 1:55 it's when the depression starts, you start asking yourself.. "Is this what I wanted?" "Do I need this?" but after that you realise that there's nothing that can possibly throw you down and you start climbing up faster to accomplish that goal, the wind, the cold nothing stops you from being the best.. Until (3:24) you realise time is going out, you start climbing up faster and faster, forgetting why had you done this in the first place, all you have in your mind is the desire to climb the mountain it is truly a long way up.
Until you realise that you've wasted your time but at least you can now enjoy your life at your maximum, now you are the only one who picks his own path.

These songs are just so simple but they give off such an enormous vibe... almost nostalgic, you feel me? It's like they bring back a memory that you've never had, or like you're in another world..
