  • I clean up this wildly overgrown public housing place. It's been left to become an absolute mess.
VLOG is now on Turf and Tools going forward / @turfandtools
If you are interested in any of the equipment I'm using, check out my new page Turf and Tools / @turfandtools where I review equipment that I am sent and use. If you'd like to send something for me to show, send me an e-mail timthelawnmowerman@gmail.com
Hi! My name is Tim The Lawnmower Man and I love to clean up overgrown yards and make fun videos doing it. I'm able to do them for free as these videos have ads on them and the revenue from that enables me to cover my cost.
I'm always looking for the worst yards around. Sometimes I drive around looking for them, sometimes viewers send me suggestions.

That's 100% ok with me! We need you to get more views on the main channel to keep your RUclips revenue flowing! Also one thing about the vlogs, I think revealing your finished results are also ruining the Free Mow Friday videos. It takes away the mystery and I stopped watching the vlogs because of that. Maybe only show the property but don't show any of the action.
Also it looks like maybe you need to try a different string on your trimmer? That was cutting through the dirt about as bad as my 20v DeWalt trimmer lol. It would be cool to try out different strings and state them in your videos. Thanks! From Wisconsin USA.

Someone in Housing felt the pressure from the scrutiny of the public eye. Great job Tim in finding a way to kick them into gear and do the rest of the job. Council didn’t want to be publicly shamed so they quickly sent a team to do the backyard. Too late, Council is a day late and a dollar short. Community ought to recall them and have them removed from their positions. There is a critical housing shortage and the council is neglecting these vacant homes and letting them rott.

It is always puzzling when the pavement stops just short of being a complete run. Really good for you that you videoed the water meter and the damaged valve stem with the trimmed space around it, showing that you are not the one that did the damage. Just in case the council tries to make you pay for the damage repair.

I always like to see an overgrown yard to be a habitat for Butterflies , bees and so on. We took over so much land from other sentient life to build , its pretty sad actually. Don't get me wrong, your work is amazing.

Not a park. There’s open space across the street. People who own properties have to maintain them, so does the government. If a private owner neglected their yard like that they’d get a nastygram from the city.

As a person who walks a lot, I appreciate the time and effort you put into cleaning up the footpaths. I wish other people could take a leaf out of your book and do the same especially up in my corner of Queensland.

Its amazing how much just the edges done improves the look. Have had several comments from people walking by about how good my lawn looks, its nothing special but it has nice square edges.

That mower is a beast. I must say I do miss the old days when you would have tackled this with a $100 mower from the store. Always enjoy your videos.

Finally getting to watch this 2 days later. Keep showing up and doing these yards. Pressure the state government to actually send people out to maintain the government housing under their care. People deserve better

Thanks Tim for your efforts. These videos are so satisfying to watch, especially when I like to do lawn mowing myself. May God bless you 🙏

Great job Tim ! That was a lot of grass. You are definitely the edge king, no one does it better. Not to wish you to be unwell, I'm glad you're borderline OCD, it makes your videos above all the rest !

28:42 glad to see that you switched to the edge. Having to tap out more string every meter (or less) that you edge, it gets old after a bit. Keep up the great work, mate. Love seeing it.
