Hi Kelly, I have appreciated your work through the depths of my sensitively proud heart. I discovered your podcast during the early married state of my life 5 years ago and now through the pandemic, its been SUCH a regrounding safe haven as I navigate new motherhood and the HSP to HSC relationship. It would be soo cool to hear you dive into that topic as a future possible show theme ❤😉
You have inspired me to find my tribe and validate my gifts all over again as 2020 has been a whirlwind to everyones nervous system. I wish you warmth and healing and hope to gently encourage you to share how you've been through coping with uncertainty and adversity this past year.
    Love From Texas!
    You're sister in heart!
    Nikita

I'm just drowning. Drowning in all of it. I can't handle this world anymore. How am I already tired of all this at 20?

Thank you, I really needed to hear these words of wisdom. Sometimes I forget to be kind to myself, I’m learning I’ve been to harsh and critical with myself. And that’s no way to be as an HSP or Empath. 🌊

You nailed it! I am not on Facebook anymore.
Lol! I love your dog barking.😀
I have a chronic illness and still work but beat myself up for not getting enough done too.
Thanks for the good message you bring to us all.

This is why I don’t buy into ‘Hustle culture’ and ‘team no sleep’..imagine needing 8 hrs of sleep to function, but listening to everyone else about not sleeping and grinding

People are living inauthentic lives for the sake of how it looks to others. Don’t ever do something because of what someone else might think of you, good or bad. Do what makes you intrinsically happy and all that falls into place.

This is literally how I feel when I'm stressed especially. Or I feel like I'm running behind a train I can never catch. The thing I think I could be really good at things but can't do the things I want to.. I don't know if this makes sense to anyone else here.

Why I don't have Facebook. I don't care what people are doing. And I definitely don't want them to know what I am doing. If they know how to call me, that is different.

Thanks for your insights! In the end it's all about balance and I think people are so different anyways. Some might be able to handle this hard working life (which was described in this to me horrible sounding blogpost) quite well, others need more breaks or need to take it slower like I do. So I stopped comparing myself and work in my own pace as often as I can :)

I wouldn't it as her bragging but need a platform to release. I use to use social media to relieve my stress cos I had no one to speak to and I received a sense of relief. At the same time, I can understand that people can feel a way from what she is saying but that is down to their personal insecurities really; I know that's the case when I use to feel jealous. Kinda taught me to either brush and sort myself out or stop listening/get of social media if I can't handle it....and I'm a HSP extrovert

Your story - parable of the Mexican fisherman and the American investment banker reminded me of the song _Civilization,_ by The Andrews Sisters & Danny Kaye. _When they've got two weeks vacation, they hurry to vacation ground. They swim and they fish, but that's what I do all year 'round._ watch?v=C60iYHFE2pI

She sounds like someone like if she dies tomorrow that she may be sorry. Well, she will be dead, so it won't matter, but. I guess as long as she is enjoying herself. Either way. Not for me, though. I don't have that kind of energy.

I’m drowning & can never catch up. This podcast was great but didn’t specifically help with drowning. 🫤 I was hopeful than an hsp would have some ways to overcome it.
