@@CarolFA1111 yes absolutely but in this video it has completely worn off and I’ve gotten more since. I’m very open about everything I do and have another full video that goes over it in detail. Great results. Was your C02 at the very lowest setting? Can your share price range? Did they put you on hydroquinone products to keep the dark spots at bay?
Thanks! So yes, what they call a baby CO2 is basically the laser turned down to it's very lowest setting and we went over most of the face just once but did hit my problem areas a couple of times. I also got IPL at the same time to bring up dark spots and since I'm the lightest skin type in general I don't have any issues with lasers causing melasma but I know the darker skin types can. I also did the Erbium Yag nano laser (which I prefer as it is easier to recover from) which is supposed to be safer for darker skin types. I think I got similar results from both but it is such a process and takes so long with the results being subtle over time, it's sort of hard to tell the difference. If you go the lower energy route like I did, you have to do multiple lasers usually 4 in a year rather than one big one with lots of pain/peeling and downtime. That one usually you see significant results after one but you're not gonna wanna leave your house for a month after!

I love watching your videos and learn with you!🤩
Thank you! 🥰 It took several months but I did notice a subtle plumping of my face after this but I also noticed it started sagging again after I started up early school driving again and stopped using my led mask for a few weeks as well as having a big estrogen drop (been monitoring through blood tests). I started up the masks again and more estrogen supplementation and I feel like it's going back. I think the main benefit I've seen from these lasers is fixing discoloration and refining of some of my texture problem areas. I'm excited for you with the accutane! It was sooo helpful for me with really doable side effects compared to the full dose version which was terrible. I have my full routine and management while being on Accutane here: ruclips.net/video/DYVDqDMDXHs/видео.html
Hi. First time watching your channel. Thank you! Question- at 3 weeks I noticed your skin had an orange tint to your overall skin, almost like a mask or makeup. And, you said you hadn't put on makeup. Is that normal and does it end up going away? I'm writing this while paused on 29 min.
Ok that’s just lighting over time sometimes the camera will alter the coloring in response to the lighting set up and background and it sometimes goes a bit warm. I definitely didn’t have makeup on but I was maybe a little more red than usual that morning.
Glad I can help! If they are long term pitting type scars any of the ablative lasers (Nano & Co2) will help but if you go light on them like I did it takes a series of them and a year or two to really see full resurfacing but is less miserable to go through. If it is just hyperpigmentation from regular recurring acne then salicylic and lactic acid serums and washes used regularly will help clear things up before the next crop shows up and hopefully keeps things a little less likely to clog in between so breakouts will be less. With hormonal acne like mine, it's going to show up no matter what you do until the hormones are balanced and you no longer cycle or you can go the low dose Accutane route which was the final fix for me. Now that my cycle is stopping I no longer need it thankfully. If you want a very quick fix and it is something like pitting/scarring left over that is not going to heal you can also go get a new kind of filler called Skinvive to do superficial filling of acne scarring etc.

My new fave (I think this is going to be my fave pick of the year, I always use it to film now because it's so pretty) which is the Dior Face stick in ON and Natasha Denona (mostly under the eyes) concealer in R2. I have a whole video here on the Dior stick: ruclips.net/video/4R7Ynijd740/видео.html In the video I say I think it's too light but I have since changed my mind. I think it's actually pretty close but a tiny bit light. ;-)
Also if you can share what eyeshadow/s you are wearing 😍 I usually only wear warm tones but your eyeshadow videos are inspiring me to try cooler ones ❤ love your channel
@@haleyandthecomet Thank you so much! 🥰 The eyeshadow is Fantasy Cosmetica's Fighter palette...I've been looooving this one since I got it. The shimmer duochromes from this company are next level!
@@redgirlreviews Ohhhh I did like that one especially when you swatched it in one of your videos 🤩 It is stunning on you! Thank you ❤️
@@haleyandthecomet thank you! I really hope they eventually come out with a lighter toned palette because each one of their lighter colored duochromes is magical right in the center of the eye like that.
So is the Coolpeel a type of CO2 laser? Or a different and more gentle laser that is similar?
So technically Coolpeel is a proprietary version of a CO2 laser that sort of scatters the light bursts which keeps it from being over concentrated in one area. The brand is called Smartxide Tetra laser. The other Co2 lasers you can't turn down so low apparently. That is the one that I used...I just texted my aesthetician and she confirmed. ;-)
@@redgirlreviews Thank you for that! I appreciate the effort in responding informatively. Considering getting CO2 so this information is very helpful.
@@Matt-uv2yg I would also recommend searching for a provider in your area on something like Realself.com and look to see if they are part of the ASLMS (American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery) to make sure you are getting someone properly trained on the latest lasers and hopefully using brand new lasers not refurbished older ones past their prime. I watched a lot of content from Dr. Stefani Kappel since she specializes in lasers and looks like she does at 46 yrs old to help me find someone in my area that would safely provide the latest in laser therapies. ruclips.net/user/results?search_query=dr+stefani+kappel+
@@redgirlreviewsthank you for respondimg to thoroughly
🌷Question Please.. What was the Price point for the (1st) C02 laser, as I am definitely considering my Face/Neck area .. You look Amazing n Thank you So Much for all the Great info, this came at a good time!😍✨
Since you’re a redhead, did you have darker freckles as a kid then now?
You know not that much different but of course you get more over time so probably technically more now until after those lasers! 🤣
Is the great skin worth it when you can't move your face or show emotions?
Yes.
heh! ;-)
😊
I am 60 aging sucks
I feel ya...perimenopause is the devil and I'm hating every minute of it.
There’s no way…….you look like your in your 20’s…
Definitely not in my 20’s but thx! I’d love to have that much energy again but maybe not the acne and crazy hormones…well going through peri is similar on the hormones but I definitely don’t feel sexy just stabby most of the time 😂😬
I think this is a little bit excessive. She looks maybe late 30's. Looking great
@@ads13924 😂 gotta say I agree with you actually...I appreciate the kind words but I don't think I look that young unless maybe it's that gen z looking older than their years thing maybe...
@@redgirlreviewsNah, I'm upgrading that qualified assessment right back to the way it was worded originally: 20-something skin all the way!! Thank you for your honesty & realness, BTW 💯
@@TJHarrisons 🥰 thank you so much...it's hard to put yourself out there completely real to be torn up by some people (the lip filler and teeth comments for example) but kind people like you make up for a lot!
Look at dr Anthony Chaffee & get on the carnivore train
Oh man, I can't do it (have tried Keto) but I am doing high protein and weights and some fasting to help with menopause weight gain which I've never had before. Also, I gotta watch losing too much fat or my face gets super gaunt.
If you fix your theeth you will look like 25
Not true. Her teeth are just fine. All you younger people are just used to distorted smiles with your ridiculous looking veneers. That stupid trend will be out of style soon enough just like the buccal fat removal trend.
Wow what a pretty lady! I would only suggest some toxin in your platysma bands for the Chef’s kiss 🤌🏻. The neck always ages faster than the face and your platysmas look very strong, which ages the neck.
I actually tried that but I thought it made the skin look like it dropped even more unfortunately 😬 I am trying the new Maysama pulsed red light mask for the neck and sub mental area with their rooibos serum now. Neck and jowls are my problem areas and tough to treat for sure.
And thank you!
The lip filler is too much… you don’t need it. Your skin looks amazing though.😊😊
