@@maxlvledc Yeah, the Iridium is also made in China. It also has aluminum scales, and agreed, a better fit and finish overall. To make something $10, there are gonna be a lot of corners being cut, quality control being one of those corners. I'm sure I'd prefer the Mini Iridium over this if I had one. The Iridium has a handle that's slightly too long for my hands which is why I enjoyed the Walmart one.
I bought 4 online and got them the next day. 3 of them will be stocking stuffers for friends and my son. I don’t want to purchase anymore because I want others to have an opportunity to get one. I love the knife, it’s a great little knife that fits my hand perfectly. I tumbled the knife in my pocket with my keys to smooth the rough texture of the plastic handle which has done wonders for the feel. Do that for a week and you will love the knife even more.
It is really competing with the $20-$30 Chinese D2 Bugout counterfeits from dhgate and AliExpress instead of the $150 CPM S30V Benchmade Bugout since there's no fair comparison between the real Benchmade steel and the Ozark D2. It sill is a great deal at $10 vs $20 or $30 from Ali.
@@2010oldtimer It's competition is sitting in the $55 range. Yes, it's better than the counterfeits mainly because it's been heat treated better.
