Hi and sorry for the late reply. to answer you question, No. Luckily not a drop has presented itself. I'm very thankful for that. However, about a week ago I noticed the driver's side headlight Switch Back DRL is not functioning correctly. Specifically the turn signal is not switching to yellow. Instead, the yellow LEDs when the left turn signal is activated is coming on along with the white and both white and yellow are flashing at the same time. The Right side is working normally. I'm about to email Diode Dynamics to see if they can offer a solution. Thanks for your question.
Further to the failed DRL driver, Diode Dynamics were amazing and sent a pair of replacement drivers. In under 2 minutes, I had the offending driver replaced and everything is again, as it should be.
I got this kit and am installing now. I have everything working, but the daytime running lights to stay on when the truck is running. Do u have any recommendations or instructions on the wiring?
I’m doing this exact upgrade this weekend. Any further issues with the seal up of the headlight? Any further issues with the drivers from diode dynamics?
Thanks for our comment on the video. I hope your project went smoothly. I had one of the 2 drivers fail. Diode Dymanics was awesome, I discribed the problem in an email, they replied within 24 hrs, and issued a shipping order to send me a new driver. Actually they sent two! However, there was a mixup in their shipping department and I ended getting the RGB Drivers. Which do not connect to my SwitchBack LED boards. I contacted them right away, they were very apologetic and send out the correct drivers. All in all it took about 2 weeks to get the new (and correct) drivers. I replaced the fault one and have a brand new spare. But 6 months later, the replaced driver is working perfectly as it the original.
Thanks for your comment! Unfortunately at the time, aftermarket assemblies were too expensive for me. The cheapest I could find was around $800. For each headlamp. Doing the switchback mod was the cheaper option for me.
Ya know...these is $1200.00 head light housings...MAN did u just save my bacon with this vid.way ta go man keep them coming...

I’m sorry. I don’t have any suggestions there. I wired mine as per the instructions and like yours, the DRLs stay on while the truck is running.
