In regards to our Reaction videos:
As many of you know RUclips can be an unpredictable and often unfair place when it comes to copyright rules and their enforcement. If our video ends up getting cut due to copyright reasons it will be labeled in the title as a Review rather than a Reaction. The music video portion of the video will be cut out and you will only see our before and after thoughts. Unfortunately this is the best we can do under those circumstances and we would appreciate a Like rating on our videos to help us overcome any negative algorithmic affects.

Fun fact, the lady singing is no random lady, her name is Archy Jay a.k.a The Snake Charmer, she is professional bagpiper, and old friend of Karan. She is worth to check as well, she is killing it on the pipes. If you do reaction for her cover (with other 2 bagpipers) for Dropkick Murphys - Shipping to Boston / Metallica - Enter Sandman ... is fucking badass! I heard rumors there will be a another track on the album featuring her, I hope she bring the pipes!

I checked this out, just doing my typical rabbit hole exploration that I do on RUclips lol. Her video “The foggy dew” is great! In fact it’s shot in the same place as Aaj and she’s even wearing the same outfit. She’s very talented! Thanks for the info on her! 🤘

💯% agreed. I've been a huge LP fan since 2004. After a heartbreaking loss of Chester, these guys were truly able to heal and revive me at the time i found them in 2019. I can recommend Jee Veerey, Endurant, Gaddar, Yaad, Machi Bhasad as few of their awesome singles to check out.

It's not only the Music, it's also the meaning of the songs and the lyrics and the "power to the lower" and the uplifting energy, these lads are just amazing.
this is definitely gottu be a tribute to that song linkin park of that dragon ball song. and The meaning of AAJ is TODAY. you guy gotta listen and hear to the lyrics. its so inspiring. i literally got Goosebumps when the flute started swinging. it hits different like takes you to a journey. Indian music is an artwork its jam packed with emotions. they wanna take you to a journey to make yourslf found and to be found.

You should check out their other song called 'Machi Bhasad'.. It has a powerful message but no flute solo :/ .. there are some traditional drums in that song though..
Machi Basad is so underrated by their fans. Love that one. Ari Ari gets all the praise but that one is better.
That said Aaj is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever heard.
they said they're inspired by bands like linkin park, limp bizkit, rage against the machine, etc, and it rlly shows but in a cool and new way, is not like they're literally a copy of linkin park or ratm, they just take some elements and mix it together with not only their own culture, but their own vission, i think thats why they sound so refreshing and new but still have some hints that bring us (old metalheads :P) right back there
Just to confirm, it's pronounced "aaj" (translates to "today") rather than "a-aj". Honestly new to the band and love them. Check out machi bhasad if you haven't

We aren't as easily impressed as a lot of metalheads. We like to find unique attributes and characteristics in music that sets bands apart while not completely alienating the genre. In a growing sea of bands, Bloodywood has freshness appeal.

The first rap bit seemed a bit funny timed or something. But after that it was actually making the song better. Overall i am so hyped for this album its dumb. If the rest of the tracks are anywhere near as good as Gaddaar and this, it is going to be amazing.
You will love some of their other songs they have already released, they are just as hard hitting and sting as this song.
They also have done a cover song or two of western music which can be found in Spotify (that I know of anyway).
