I have been crocheting since I was 11 years old, I’m now 60. You have the best tutorial on how to crochet slippers on RUclips. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you.
I have to agree 💯
This is by far, for me, the best tutorial for making house slippers! I have tried so many times, with little success, to make something for my family that I am proud of. Your step by step instructions leave no room for interpretation. A heartfelt thanks for your videos and simple instructions.
Thank you so much.I am 75 year old.Tried so many slipper patterns but this one was par excellence.Turned out perfect.Instructions are clear.
I love the new heel on this one. It's so nice not having to sew the heel together . I also like how the corners are 2 posts together so there is no gap.
Excellent tutorial 💕 I appreciate the time and detail that was put in to making this video.
You are so welcome!
The best slipper tutorial. Explained and demonstrated in details. Thank you.
😃😊
Your video is so clear. Anyone watching this can definitely make their own slippers
Fabulous instructions. If you are not a teacher somewhere teaching something you have missed your calling…. You are wonderful…!!!!
Thank you. I am not a teacher, but I have taught a few crochet classes for all ages. 😊😃
What a fantastic tutorial and very practical pattern! I have just crocheted myself a pair in red velvet chenille chunky yarn! A bit of an experiment to see how long they last but currently warm & very comfortable. I did single crochet 3 stitches wide on the top edge rear of slipper to create a tab to pull them on. I hadn't crocheted a high cuff. I'm delighted with them.
I love it when a RUclipsr revisits & updates a pattern bc i really learn a lot from that, thank you!
Hello Stéphanie, Since I discovered your incredible video, I have made at least 12 pairs and I will continue because my friends at the residence where I live are still asking me for more. By the way, I'm 77 and crocheting is my favorite activity. Bravo for your explanations!
Thank you for the lovely comment. 🥰
I am a beginner .I like this tutorial so much . I find it so helpful. thank you
@najwaalnaimi4354......I am a beginner, too. This crochet artist (Stephanie Zed), has a great teaching speed for those of us who aren't fast crocheters yet. One day I'll be able to crochet much faster but until then I'm still in the slow rate section....LOL. She makes it really easy to learn.
What an absolutely fantastic, quick and easy crochet house slipper pattern. I am so impressed with how they turned out and I am definitely going to make more. Stephanie I loved the way that you expained everying and that you had the pattern on the screen as I went along. Regards Patricia from South Africa
I love this pattern, your instructions are clear and easy to follow. Thank you.
!!! Such a beautiful slippers you do. !!! My goodness they are the best. Thank you Lady.
Best tutorial ever and cutest crochet booties ever. So easy to follow! I’m making my first pair on super bulky yarn. The subsequent pairs will definitely be on bulky. I can’t wait to make slippers for all my family for Christmas! I know they are sick of hats.
Love this so much
This is the best tutorial ever....it cannot be explained any better!
I have made several pairs and my family LOVE them. I added anti slip strips on the bottom. Love the editted version for a cleaner heal and back!❤️
I'm a beginner and this was the first pattern I've ever successfully attempted the magic ring with, EVER. THANK YOU.
Wonderful 😃
Yeah these are great. Who wants to crochet two soles them darn them together. I almost done with my first slipper. Took a couple do overs but finally got it. Lol
You’re a great teacher. Clear instructions and you teach at a pace that’s easy to follow - I’ve made my first pair! Thank you 🙏
You’re welcome ☺️
This is a much more clear explanation to the slipper I made some years ago. Thank you.😊
Just about finished a pair of these using your original video, love them. So appreciate this update video and info. Will be making another pair for me and my family using this video and info you took the time to post. Most informative video I’ve ever watched. Thank you for the very simple and detailed info. So easy to follow.
Thankk you so so much. Just loved your slippers. I'm doing it as gifts for family and friends.
Aaa
I love all your tutorials! They are easy to follow & I've learned several stitches that I've tried from others but could not follow. But you made it clear & easy to follow along. You do a fantastic job!!
Thank you. 😊
omg. omg. OMG. I've finally found, after 1 1/2 years as a newbie, a crochet teacher who doesn't go soooo fast it's hard to keep up!! So many of the crochet "teachers" just don't seem to understand how we newbies need to go more slowly than they do. I had absolutely No trouble following everything you just showed me. Thank you soooo much! I certainly hope you've got lots of things in your crochet "chest" that I'll want to do. Again, thank you for thinking of us newbies!!
I have lots of videos on my channel. Please check them out. I am so happy you had success 😃
Wow! This is what I needed. I use a med weight yarn most of the time and I love this for me!
Thank you for sharing this it's so helpful "Slippers for Christmas" 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I finally found the perfect slipper for my Honey Bunny, The good part is I can make these. You are the perfect teacher. I love how you explain the different sizes and you go step by step. Thank you for this great tutorial
Thank you. 😊
It looks like they are comfortable, ,again thank you.
Świetne kapciuszki, bardzo jasny i klarowny tutorial. Super!. Bardzo dziękuję. 🙂
Thank you so much Stephanie! I have been making your slippers for a couple of years now. So excited about this detailed video. I copied and paste the instructions. Everyone wants these slippers. I can't stop making them. So grateful for all your time and efforts.
You are so welcome! Yes, this one did take me a long time. I want to make sure I have answered everyones questions. I have to still make a few more pairs for gifts as well. They crochet up so fast, I love it.😃
I made these tonight, great pattern! Thank you so much!
Thank You, love this pattern. I made 7 pairs for Christmas gifts. Excellent Tutorial!!
These are really good in this cold weather. I am in UK and using one end of aran weight and one end chunky together to make. An extra 2 rows on front and and extra 2 on back of regular width and they fit a UK size 8 male. He is wearing the first and waiting patiently for me to finish the 2nd for his cold foot. :-)
You are very good teacher
I didn’t even know about this video as I had only seen your first slipper video! I’m glad I came across this one!😊
Yes. This was the slipper schooling I needed!
We cannot have better explanations….excellent…thank you….
Hello Stephanie... me again... I have finally finished my first slipper.... I made it, then frogged it, then redid it and frogged it... but I did finish one today... I started from scratch again... needless to say your video took me though it... MANY MANY times...lol. I just wanted to say that your voice is so soothing, and calm. You speak slowly and clearly so that you can be followed... by the time I was on my final attempt at my first slipper, I was almost able to keep up with your steps and rarely had to rewind. Thank you for the excellent tutorial... keep on making them!
This was a great tutorial and the slippers were so easy to make....thank you for this. Another Christmas gift done.
Wonderful 😃
Im just self learning to crochet and have only practiced doing the 3 basic sts over and over. I made slippers for my husband using just sc (had to frog 4 times due to sizing, different yarn used and crochet hook size) quiet the challenge for a very first project, but I was determined to do it, they fit & look pretty good actually.
I then decided to try your slippers for myself.
I was able to learn and work the magic circle, learn how to fpdc, bpdc, incl decreases and have just finished one slipper - using a med weight yarn #5 hook, went with extra wide as regular in this yarn was more the width of a children’s one - added more rounds to get the correct length and 2 more rounds before heel decrease.
It fits perfectly on my small 6.5 size foot, loved that it was all in one and no joining.
Thank you for such a wonderful tutorial, Stephanie 🧡
Im a visual learner and you did such an amazing live tutorial, this learner was able to make and learn along the way. Feeling pretty chuffed with my slipper, now to make the other one 😍
Heartfelt thank you 🥰
That is fabulous. I love it!
you are the BEST teacher. Please show more tutorial video. thank you so much.
Such a beautiful pattern. Can't wait to make these. You have such a soothing voice. Loved listening to your tutorial. Many thanks for sharing.
I realy love it I just started 1
Stephanie, this was a WONDERFUL video! I just finished the first slipper up to where I want to use a different yarn for the cuffs (played yarn chicken and won with 3 inches left of Skein #1!!) and will make the second one today. Thank you SO much - this was fun. I'm a knitter, and have not crocheted in many years. I've been looking for a good slipper video, and this is it.
Wonderful!
Thank you so much for this excellent tutorial.
Thank you😃😊
Thank you for the update, making the second pair right now. Wearing the first pair already.
You’re welcome. I am glad you like them. 😃Thank you for the Super thanks. 😊🥰
It is so appreciated.
Thank you so much for this pattern! I really appreciate your clear, patient tutorials
I always try to make my videos so even beginners can do them. Thank you for the comment. 😃
Amazing pattern and instructions! Thank you so much!
They're all nice slipper variations. I think, however, that I like the look of the reverse single crochet version. I like the way it looks with the cuff turned down. This is the version I'm going to try and make for my mom. Thanks for such a detailed, easy to see and easy to follow, tutorial. -- Janet.

Thank you so much Stephanie I love the look of these and so handy to have different sizes I can't wait to get going on a pair
I've made many slippers from the "old" pattern, so fast forwarded to the new heel. So anxious to try this!
This was so perfect for a procrastinator like me they practically make themselves thanks so much
What an awesome comment. Thank you. 🙏🏼
golly miss molly.....LOVE this detail explained pattern...Being Left Handed always is a challenge for me - but your tutorials are AMAZING......LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these patterns.....thankyou
Thank you. I am glad you like it.
Thank you for this. You're such a great teacher
Thank you
Absolutely perfect! Thank you so much!
Excelent and beautifull thank you for your video
Πανέμορφες παντοφλες!!! 👌👌👌👌Μπράβο σας!!!
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I am running into a problem that I could use some help with. When moving forward to the sides, I noticed that you start at a different point than I do even when turning my work. I always end up near the sole of the slipper and begin with it first. No matter what, I end up having to crochet the top of the slipper
Thank you for this pattern and your original 💜 I have made many pairs and they are a favorite to make and wear 😊
Yes, this is the perfect tutorial! The best I’ve ever seen. Looking forward to more of your tutorials. Thank you for sharing this in detail. You make it so easy to follow and understand. Have a happy new year!
Thank you. Happy New Year 🎊
Beautiful!

Thank you😊
I love these. Got the first one down. I’ll do the other tomorrow. Awesome instructions.
Thank you 😊
thank you so much for your slippers. i have already made 3of them as a gift and more people ask me to knit for them. 🥰
Wonderful!
So well explained...merci.....
I made 16 pairs for Christmas and added a second sole. I made a sole in SC to fit the bottom and attached it through the loops on the bottom. They are even more comfy to walk on and the sole can be replaced to extend the life of the slippers. Everyone loved their slippers, thank you for such a great pattern xox
Wow!!!! What a fabulous idea!!!😃
Hi, did you use the same yarn or a different one?
I used different yarns. Some of my nicest turned out when I put 2 #4 medium weight acrylic yarn together.
Wow i really enjoyed doing this slipper. I done the 1st one and will do the next for sure. .thanks for showing us how it's done. Janice from Malta in the Mediterranean. 😍
I love this very detailed video, and I love this slipper! 💝 Thank you so very much for this! I have a son who has a wide foot, size 16! I'm going to tackle this!
Nice!!
I love this pattern I always hated making booties but these are fabulous thank you so much also for the different sizes I'm making booties like crazy now I don't know how to upload a picture of one of the booties I made otherwise I would show you them
You would have to send them to me on instagram 😃

This is the best slippers to make for gifts
Thank you😊🙏🏼
Your original has been my " go to" pattern. I've made so many of your slippers for my friends and family that they are saying "stop, we only have 2 feet!" 😂 Uh, no way. Love this second version. 🥰 I guess I'm not done crocheting just yet. Thanks Stephanie.
That is fabulous!!!
It's gorgeous 😍
Thank you very much,I LOVE you,I am from România
Thank you from 🇨🇦 Canada.
My husbands Great Grandpa was from Romania. ❤️
I watched your tutorial today for the first time on how to make a hat. It was the best I have watched. Keep it up!
Thank you. 😊
Hi, I made more than 10 pairs following your original video with velvet yarn. I like your design, and I think it is the best in all aspects (I think it looks like the UGG booties). For larger boot I started with oval base instead of circle and it was very nice. Thank you very much for your tutorial.
I’m so curious to know how the velvet yarn worked out? Did it hold the shape?
@@brendatendam3002 Not as much as those on the tutorial. It looses elasticity after several washes, but I am still wearing those I made last winter. I chose velvet yarn because it is softer and wanted to wear the slippers without socks (acrylic/wool can be itchy in contact with bare skin).
@@JKNT0101 oh my goodness! I am making them now with the velvet yarn!! So soft and beautiful! Size 5mm hook and two strands, love love love them! Would have never of dreamed of using velvet. Thank you so very much!!
@@brendatendam3002 Now I want to try with two strands…🤔😃
Thank you for such amazing video on doing slippers. I made three pairs so far. I did figure out what I was doing wrong on the heel. Definitely my favourite video. Merry Christmas to you and your family .❤❤❤ I am from the east coast of Canada, near Nova Scotia.
Thank you so much. I hope they keep everyone’s feet warm for the winter. I am from Calgary 😘
Thanks Stephanie, for the great pattern, I have made 3 pair already and have 2 more to make for Christmas presents..easy peasy ❤️🧶💚🎄🎄
