I have looked for this slipper everywhere my Grandma made these years ago and I loved them. This will be so special to my siblings who loved them as well
Thank you. I was hoping someone would have a slipper pattern. I haven't made slippers in years. I didn't think to use chenille yarn to make them more comfortable.
I can't imagine them being very hard wearing, and if you have tiles or polished wooden floors, a few dots of liquid rubber would make them safer. I wonder if hot glue would work? Apparently it helps clothes stay on hangers better hangers
Well, well, well, there's a first time for everything😂. I grabbed some yarn that has a little wool in it for warmth sake, and actually made two slippers together, no breaks. I made additional rows to cover more of my instep and then the rest of my huge, ugly Cinderella step sister feet (seriously😂) AND I ACTUALLY WEAVED IN ALL MY ENDS WHEN DONE! I'VE NEVER WOVEN IN ENDS ON ANYTHING I'VE MADE FOR MYSELF BEFORE! It's my Minnie Pearl type trademark not to weave in ends on self made things I wear... Only weave in for gifted items. Had to do it on these though as I can't chance them coming undone or tripping myself stepping on one... I love this pattern though and thank you for it! So versatile and easily adjustable for size and how much instep you want to cover. Love it🎉 Oh, can definitely feel the difference when my feet hit the cold ceramic tile with these on.... Again, thank you
I love these slippers Christa I made 3 pairs for myself and a tiny pair for my granddaughter she looked so cute in hers though she’s grown out of them now so I might have to make her another pair , I did mine half acrylic and half chenille and they are still going strong thank you for sharing them again 👏🏻Amanda xx💞
First pair...on my feet!! So cozy for a rainy day here in VA. We have had hurricane leftovers all weekend. Coffee and crochet. Working on more for gifts. Sometimes smalls are big wins. I always get so confused on the slip stitch placement when working in the round. Your tutorial really made it clear where to go with my hook. Happy hooking and thanks for a great tutorial. Will post my makes on ig.
OMG! I just made the cutest pair of slippers for myself and I am BEYOND happy! Thank you so much for such a great tutorial...everyone's getting cozy slippers for the holidays! 🎉🎄 🎁
I love them. Thank you so much for the pattern. I know they will be a winner with my family. Even though it's summer here at Christmas they will be getting crochet slippers in their stockings.

How many stitches do you have when working in rows I understand 6 rows in the round, but how many stitches when working the rows for the sole that was never stated, however I did make the slippers and I love them just had to guess on the stitches but they turned out so cute, thank you for sharing the pattern ❤
I am a beginner and hopefully will figure this out. I am disappointed there were not detailed instructions on how to make the magic circle. It’s on the video on RUclips but not on the written pattern I just paid $5.75 for. In order to download the video you have to sign up with the RUclips for their premium service.
Hi, @SheliaSimmonsRealtor!! So sorry about that - it should be included in the written pattern. Here it is: To Make a Magic Ring: Put the tail of your yarn over the palm of your non-dominant hand. Hold the tail down on your ring finger with your thumb. Grab your working yarn and wrap it around two fingers (pointer and index) making an X. Wrap it around 3 fingers and hold the working yarn under your thumb with the tail. Turn your hand over. With the hook facing downward, slide it underneath the short loop, and over the long loop. Drag the long loop back under the short loop. Turn the hook towards yourself. Turn the hook away from you and grab the long strand of yarn with your hook. Slightly release the pressure of your thumb, and bring that yarn through the loop on your hook. Also, the videos are free to watch - no need to join premium - so sorry for the hassle - must have been very frustrating! Hollar if you need anything else! Thank you! 🌻🌺🌼

How many double crochets in Rnd 2 for the larger size?

Question, if I use a single strand of yarn, do I need to double the number of stitches? Does it affect the finished size?
How cute!

Do your patterns still say things like single crochet and double crochet, or are they more plain than this?
Hi, @lydiamahoney177!! Yes they do say "single crochet". Hope that helps? Thank you! 🌻🌺🌼
What size yarns have you used?
Hi, @riamarra6962!! I used these ones:

@@SecretYarnery thanks!
Can you provide yardage or meters of yarn needed please? Thank you!
Hi, @kbmightmight518!! Sure thing - about 150m of each. Thank you! 🌻🌺🌼
You MIGHT need two stitch markers if you're old and don't feel like looking for those stitches anymore.
That's a great idea, @IDontSuckAtLifeakaJanis3975! 👍 Thanks!! 🌺🌼🌸
What weight of yarn are you using here ?
Hi, @KaileyTremblay!! Two strands of size 4 worsted weight. Thank you! 🌻🌺🌼
Cute
Thank you, @marziehakhavan7469! 🌈🌼🌸
o l Could not get the magic ring.
What about being slippery on wooden floors? I’m older and don’t want to slip and fall
You can use puff paint on the bottoms.
@@VM-123 puff paint what is that lol never heard of it before and where from amazon or craft store probably either one right?
Hi, @karenperreira3508!! Yes - puff paint (from a craft store), or dabs/dots/lines/designs with a hot glue gun. Hope that helps! Thank you! 🌻🌺🌼
