- M2CS is getting Öhlins coil overs installed along with control arms, end links, and all the suspension bits on it today. Hit up Barry at 3DM Motorsport for all of your Ohlin needs. He is the man. And of course, Mike and I have some friendly banter as we plow through this install.

Stay tuned for more crazy!
I think 763s are one of the nicest OEM wheels out there. Personally, I'd go for gold ones for the build.
gold wheels on gold calipers might not be the move, especially the fact that theyre different shades.
@@anthonyt4981 I just looked them up again and I thought they were closer in shade to each other. Would the Orbit Grey ones be better?
@@henryhealy well it's all personal preference at the end of the day. I'm just giving another perspective haha
The hiking on the budget was hilarious 😂🤣🤣
MATT be honest how lucky are you to have a guy like Mike . The man is a godsend
The OE rims looks so good, glad they’ll be back on the M2 for a few
The last thing the CS needs is a thicker sway bar, I know I have one
The cs swaybars are the same as the swaybars of the OG M2 N55 and the M2 competition. Oem swaybars are good to change if the rest of the suspension parts are upgraded. The M2 CS racing car is also upgraded with better adjustable swaybars.
My M2 OG N55 is upgraded with eibach swaybars/Öhlins R/T/ diff lift kit/ milway street camberplates/uniballs packed front&rear/ endless me22 pads/ steel brake lines/ wagner evo1/ HJS 300cell catt/ it drives better than a stock M2 CS.
@Richard you are 100% right, I have m2 with setup for Nurburgring Nordschleife done by best specialist @ the Ring. Everything is changed except sway bars.
@@tinodeblier5694 Excellent setup. Would you do CS racing front swaybar on a street car? Thinking of doing R&T or MPS and CSR swaybar and that's it maybe.
@@chrisbradley3224M2 CS adjustable sway bars on a M2 street car that doing regulary trackday's is always a good thing, butt only if you are obsesed with creating the best setup as possible. Adding less weight to the car....racing seats/ carbon fiber interieur/ half roll cage making the car better is handling and track times.
At 26:30 it shows the rear spring upper cups installed. These need to be removed as per the instructions.
I’m surprised he didn’t get SPL arms. I’ve got spl everything on my e92, absolutely best of the best
The budget rant was pure comedy! I’ve ran into the same problem when looking into info about turbocharging my k20. Everything is on a budget :/
I just picked up a pair of used ohlins. They are in great condition but I’m going to do some custom work to them. After market springs and top hats. I’m pumped.
Bummer about the BBS they look so good.
Agreed. Best looking wheels to date on any of his cars IMO. Maybe the TE’s a close 2nd.
How do you like the Ohlins vs the stock suspension? Considering the same but with the softer Swift springs.
How long have you known Mike Matt keep up the good work guys
It's not deflection causing the wheel/caliper scores, it's rocks, and it always has been. I can show you many calipers with all sorts of different damages that are obviously rock related, and can recount several people I've spoken with that got the damage at a crawling speed.
Patiently waiting for the day you guys upload the Active 2.0 review with James
So bummed, I really wanted to see it on the ground!
*Chewing intensifies*
Need the orginal outro tune. More upbeat. Another good video.
Nice setup. Those look like Vorshlag camber plates? I am running a custom valved Bilstein setup with those plates on my WRX. A lot more noisy than stock, but it's amazing how quickly you get used to it.
Exciting
Sweet
I'd road trip with you Matt! On the wrong side of the country though
In!
Cool
Hope the calipers weren't scratched too badly :(
Sorry I love your channel but M2CS has a perfect engineered suspension that works great , Chris Harris himself drove the car and said it., why in the world would you mess with it , sorry to be blunt
You can always improve upon a factory suspension, always.
Matt, Surprised you were using sonic tools if you want the best of the best…snap on much better!! You should also be using your quarter inch electric ratchet to put the fender liner bolts back on. A lot of wrenches are too short also. Milwaukee stuff is just OK in my opinion, but not for the professional mechanic!!
What would you recommend over Milwaukee?
Matt has mentioned this in the past... I think it was something along the lines of Sonic may not be the best tools he has used but the tools in combination with the foam inlay drawer organization is what makes them so great.
Seen multiple videos where Milwaukee out performs Snap on..
Hey Matt could you do a review on the giraffe tools grandfalls pressure washer?
I don't need to test that. I can tell it's garbage just by looking at it.
@@ObsessedGarage word
Hey why did you need to modify the front end link?
The connection point of the end links to the shock body are shorter than stock.
Been trying to get ahold of 3dm for a set myself and left messages emails no replies any idea what gives ?
He is a one man show, so I'd be patient with him. He is really good.
@@ObsessedGarageI figured , I’m looking forward to working with him I just wanted to make sure since fb hasn’t posted since 21 and insta doesn’t pull up anything phone isn’t working I hoped they were still in business and active
All this so you can drive the car 30mph for 5 miles lol
I know I've seen people complaining about the M2CS with carbons catching rocks on the stock wheel setup, maybe just a cunthair width spacer would help alleviate the issue and allow the use of those glorious BBS's still (and you know you can powder coat them black or even the stock wheels black again instead of buying a complete new set, right? 🤣)
MURAD form Toronto 🇨🇦😉👋👌
Serious question lol. When you online shop, do you use promo codes?
He gets hooked up on most things, I’m assuming
I almost never buy products that have promo codes, so no.
the M2CS is so good stock. Yes I understand why you do this but sometimes you just go way too far, lol.
No BMW is "good" stock.
@@ObsessedGarage 100% agree, BMW always needs a slight touch here and there to wake the car up. Global standards neuter the cars but with aftermarket and now factory support all of those short comings can be made right and the full M car potential brought to the street. My e92 M3+ was so much better than stock even though it looked stock it was a HUGE +
Mendl shoes, Falke socks, what's left is not important
Where are the red Ronald McDonald shoes?
😂
Ugh
