    Great video about a legendary guitar. I would like to buy one more sooner than later. But it's so expensive.
    Ohhh, when you switched to position two and switched the middle pickup to parallel ... oh my god, that's the sound! You are the first one who demonstrated it on the point.

      @NikolausBrocke Thanks so much! Yeah believe me I feel your pain because I want a second one but $$$! 😔 ONE DAY I will have another but blessed to at least have the one for now so I’m very appreciative. And yes that 2nd position and middle in parallel is the MONEY 80’s position - glorious! I could play in that position and just clean riffs all day long it’s so satisfying!

      @vaisatchatrucci  2 месяца назад

      @Michaelkeyreal Thank you very much! I got it off some lame FB link that popped up - it’s kinda terrible quality but I kept it anyway 😂 Logo is cut off at the bottom and looks like a 3 year old printed it but on video it’s more forgiving I think haha. If you need an XL I’ll sell you the one that I haven’t worn - I bought two cause I wasn’t sure if I’d get some weird size like can happen when ordering stuff from China 😂 I seriously can’t recommend them though. They’re terrible. I’m going to just make one myself (photoshop a logo) and upload the design and get a better one.

      @Michaelkeyreal I just tried to click the link where I got it and it’s not working now just FYI - it said it was a limited time offer so it’s expired I guess… But I do have an XL with your name on it 😉 haha - seriously I would feel bad taking your money honestly it’s that bad….

    The pixel pattern on the neck is the quarter sawn maple wood. If you’re interested to learn more about how the maple is being cut then you’ll understand it has very specific pattern. Quarter sawn is used by Jim due to the vibrant resonant for the guitar construction

      @andrewraharjo NICE!!! I have to day when I first got it I was like “uh oh” cause it was beefier than I expected but I tell you what, now I absolutely love it! My Dann Huff tribute sunburst strat I’m building is going to have a similar neck profile but likely a little slimmer and will also be 10-14 compound radius so it’s going to be fun!

    • @andrewraharjo
      @andrewraharjo 2 месяца назад +1

      @@vaisatchatrucci You made me double check on Tyler website just now. I remember that 10-12 is the compound radius they do. I don’t have 10-14 custom neck so I can’t tell much differences when I play. It’s hard to tell but what I can tell is when I play any kind of neck, I still anchor my experience with my Black Huff Classic. Try go back and forth until I don’t feel any weird changes. Even with my Studio Elite HD, I would rather still stick with my Black Classic. The only time I need to change would be when the features from that guitar is too much or the time to swap is better than tuning the guitar between set/on stage.
      Anyway, for your build tips; 10-12 would be the best. Consult with musikraft. They roll the edges closer to Tyler. Very nice neck

    • @vaisatchatrucci
      @vaisatchatrucci  2 месяца назад +1

      @andrewraharjo Thanks so much for the build tip bro! I just have more experience with Warmoth so that’s why I was going to go 10-14 since 10-12 isn’t an option but I’ll definitely check out Musikraft thank you sir! When I was considering putting a Floyd Rose on, I was looking at Fender Dave Murray necks that seem to be for sale everywhere for some reason and they’re I believe a 9.5-14 compound radius which would work for me too. I have so many varying radius’ across all my guitars I honestly can deal with just about anything as long as it’s at least 9.5” and no more than 16”. Thanks again for the Musikraft suggestion I’ll check em out!

    Ive been weighing up whether to spend heaps on a SD Hot Stack STK-S2 in the middle of my HSH strat as its the pickup that Dann used but listening to this demo the Classic Stack sounds equally as good and very similar but is available at a lower price. Thank you for the awesome demo and breakdown
    Have compared the Hot Stack with Classic Stack?

      @SouthpawSatch Thanks for checking it out brother! I’m a southpaw too BTW! Although I only write and eat with a fork left handed and do most everything else right handed. ANYHOO, I have not done a comparison but believe they’re voiced quite similarly and MY understanding was that the only real difference was just the aesthetic of the traditional pole pieces vs the blades but shoot Seymour Duncan support an email and they will get back to you on that they are SUPER nice and helpful and let me know what you find out as I’d be interested to know too since I’m building a Huff sunburst strat replica myself! @MtAletube You can purchase the pickup from Tyler. They are currently $180 and in stock as of the writing of this post. That said, Dann Huff’s sunburst strat has a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge and while I would assume that pickup is along the same lines as the JB, I have a JB in another guitar and it’s not quite the same in my opinion though you also can’t go wrong with a JB!
