@@andyracksthecams You bolted out? Like hurried away? Or your water bottle was empty (bottled out) and were so dehydrated that you left for water? Or...did you fill up on JD instead of KT?
@@douglasmccoll6296 I chickened out. I got nervous and thought I looked a complete idiot. I've always avoided autographs and selfies working in Broadcast you get to meet people all the time. There are only a handful of people that make me week at the knees. 🤣
KT rocks and always has done... Thanks for sharing 🙏🙏 l also love the Aladdin Sane lightning strike on her guitar.... I'd love to here her do some Bowie covers 😉😉😉
Brilliant version. She's pretty bloody great. Talking Heads from this period is timeless. 1977 for gods sake! How few of the audience were even born when it was current, yet they roar into the chorus like it was some modern pop song, which just shows you how great it is.
Hi KT, you never fail to please your audience. I remember meeting you at Tescos in Hungerford, was such an honor to meet you, I trust you are well and keep safe.
Remember her on Jules Holland and she was awesome then and this is a great version - shame she seems to have been overlooked by manufactured artists who can’t do it live 👏👏👏👏👏🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️👏👏👏👏
She should be, she's had lots of time to practice. 2024 marks 20 years since her breakthrough, and 19 years since she was first nominated/won awards for her music.
I clicked this instantaneously, haha! I wish the guitar was a little less piezo-y, but hey, it's live and she's not a blues or old-time player, I'm not that disappointed. I love that she sang it in the original register. Awesome.
@@thomasdef634 Don't mistake the familiarity of a song with the fame of the performer's name. I know loads of people who give me a blank stare when I mention songs by certain artists selling millions of albums worldwide, only to exclaim "oh, but I know that song!" when I let them hear it.
@@skabuoy Yea! I performed Brandy, (You're a Fine Girl), a Looking Glass song from 1972 for a bunch of grade 6 and 7's a couple years ago and a bunch started singing the chorus. I love this woman.
KT is fire. Livewire. So much energy. :)
Wow, love to see she hasn't lost her touch at all. Used to listen to her music all the time in the 2000s. What a gritty voice!! 🔥
Love it. Real music
That was fabulous
Crowd participation ! Gotta love it. I'd like to catch her in a small venue like this.
This is fantastic. She should be filling massive shows. So much more talented than the usual suspects.
Brilliant as always. KT rocks!
Love KT. Had a chance to meet her, She oozes charm and it comes through in her music
I bottled out at the Cambridge Folk Festival doing the Television Coverage. Regretted it ever since.

You don't know how old that audience is. KT herself has been in the business for some 20 years now.

😊😊👍👍
nailed it! a worthy cover :) I got chills
The girl from St Andrews doing the song by the guy from Dumbarton
Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth had something to do with composing it.
@@rhodsullivan7773 very true, but I was just pointing out the Scottish connection
Fantastic collaboration if I may say.😊😊😊
Love this song, awesome cover....I've recorded it and now I'm gonna learn and perform it too!!!!!

I remember her too on Jools' show. Another artist had pulled out and she got the call.
How happy am i to come across this...😊😊😊
Awesome, thanks for the recording!! Definitely getting my LE Blues
Well… that was amazing.
Thank you for posting this ❤
Shes great..
excellent version!
love it
Thanks to an Indy friend involved he got us a row to see her. Absolutely fantastic!
Great version of a fab song. Play this in a covers band and instant singalong.
Cool
Brilliant. From another Colton😅
A) She's not wrong.
B) She's very talented - frankly the guitar alone could carry this, the way she "persuades" it!
Pure Scottish 😁👍🏻😎
❤
A woman boiling with talent!
This is brilliant. Very close to the Stop Making Sense version with even more energy if that’s even possible.
Wow I’m impressed she’s really good

Well done. I also perform this solo - a bit closer to the David Byrne version where the ending goes on a bit longer.
I wonder if her manager is Howard The Duck??😜 great cover!!😍
Her little finger points make me think of "Gary..on the kickdrum...Come come.. on the kick drum..come come..thats Gary" from The Break Up.
anyone know what drum machine she is using? 10x
She is a great talent and a smashing person.
Shame the lampie went style over content on her.
There's something about a Scottish woman with an acoustic guitar....who's that Amy woman?
I wonder how many people in the audience have actually heard of Talking Heads?
well, as they're singing along, I'd wager at least a few of them are familiar
