- Today we take a look at Greencore Wisbech, Weasenham La, Wisbech PE13 2RD.
We speak to security who object to our lawful activity.
Despite many attempts to reason with security, it ends in insults, and a manager arrives to turn it around.

0:00 Section 62 of the Copyright Design and Patents Act 1984 says that you do not need to ask permission to photograph a building. The only reason permission might be sought when taking a picture is when copyright exists on the original. But there is no such thing as copyright on buildings according to section 62. It's also called the "freedom of panorama".
Very true 👍💚💚
It is legal for me to fart in public but common decency and politeness stops me from upsetting people
Yeah but sometimes, it's funny if you can drop one & blame someone else. @@seekeroftruthandjust
@@terryday6734 😆😆😆
@@terryday6734As they just did here by vicariously filling his nappy on behalf of a Nobbington McNobb security guard with hurty feelings.
Tony was a nice manager , im sure he will have had a quiet word with Paul , its all down to educating the security guards on the rights of the General public from the public footpath .😀
Yeah seriously solid bloke, Tony! /applause
Tony seems to be a fantastic professional manager. Good job running that facility. 👍🏻
Well done tony
To be fair, I think that deserved a tick as well as the cross for Tony doing a great job of trying to rescue it, and making a sincere apology.
So add the tick then DJ? The cross was harsh on this one… and it’s clear you’ve done that for views. Gotta be fair
Beard guy 10/10👍👍
One day DJ will be a doddery old geezer, maybe he'll be less harsh a judge then
The guy who came out , was great , snatched success from the jaws of complete and utter defeat 👏
yep he styled it out as though he had never seen a Channel to..
Manager Tony was excellent. Security chap took he personal beliefs too far ... notfor the first time I expect !
Arkwright was a bit rude with the jerk comment.
Dude #2 pulled it out of the fire, brushed it off, and polished up the image. ^5 to him!
Wind socks are used when the company is using an amonia. In case of issues with the amonia leak, people need to run opposite direction.
Thanks. Yes that makes sense now 👍
Same after a hard days work when I take my socks off ;)
@DJAUDITS but still small chances to survive without poisoning 😂
Wind sock . thanks .
you learn something new everyday.🏴
Ah right that’s interesting
2nd guy very professional
You're not allowed to take pictures of our building 😂 gets me every time
Imagine if it was an architectural building with the same stupidity coming from the security 🤔
Oh wait, that happens as well 😂
I prefer when they say they have intellectual property rights on a building.
Poor poor security time to retire silly old man
@@joansmith5831 He is retired, that's what security jobs are for.
@@joansmith5831 You don't seem like a pleasant and kind person. Security could be better but then again, so could you.
Thought I was watching Open All Hours when you was chatting to that security guard 😂
Wonder if it ever crossed this security guards mind... that he doesn't see daily news where people are arrested for taking a picture of a building..... 🤦♀
not much crosses a security guards mind ...
@@sorearm Exactly. That is exactly why he is a security guard.
Now now . There are different folk on different levels , doing jobs that you or i may not want to do. i do not feel comfortable with people taking liberties . Sneering and acting better class making a kunt of a person for going out turning up for work each day . That is probably someones papa still up for a shift to make ends meet. Security guards are a deterrent , have responsibilities in directing drivers and taking registers etc. so they might not know aviation regulations or laws private photography . Easy targets and snobbery where the guy could be ex military etc like a lot of these guards who still want to go out and be useful rather than sponge.
Just sayin!!
The manager rescued it well 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
they put a wind sock up so you can see the way of the wind for your drone lol
Very kind of them 🙌😉
The wind sock is because they have an ammonia plant on site it's a legal requirement.
DJ when flying over these factories be careful of hot air discharges from boilers and cooling towers they could affect your drone.
DJ, you should tell them that British industry is one of the most important thing we have, and being able to see it is very important for us. Gives us hope for the future.
@9.20 - Company manager politely sums up the situation concisely - well done that man!
DJ Audits keyrings now being delivered by air drop Haha Brilliant.
was that Arkwright in the security box 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
Once men get to a certain age the “get off my lawn” gene kicks in. The manager was very gentle with him, it’s nice to see empathy in management, that’s what set the good employers apart. Tony is a star!
Nice man in the striped shirt. He had his priorities straight.
All sites with ammonia plants must have a wind sock to indicate wind direction incase of a leak.
Sainsbury's in Haydock have it too, it's to do with the cooling systems for the chill section in the warehouse.
@@DaedalusYoung And we found out from a previous DJ video that they use ammonia for the cooling. Genuinely informative!
Also most sites have an internal evacuation area for ammonia, and external for fire. The windsock is for the benefit of the emergency services.
I thought Tony handled that brilliantly.
I understand being "oldschool" he wouldn't know about the internet, my stepdad doesn't understand texting nevermind the T'interweb, but as a security guard that's no excuse and security guards in general , imo, should be kept up to date with relevant laws that apply to their jobs. The man that came out to speak to you is awesome. Not only did he offer some information, he apologised on his behalf and acted very calm and polite. Well done to him.
Tony, a great example how a employee should handle the situation, promote that man.
Good save Tony - I totally get what he was saying fair enough - old guy's aren't as understanding and abit hard headed - glad to see he's still working.
Tony saved this one for his company. Top man.
It's surprising how many people don't realise that you can film and photograph anything from a public place.
The main issue as I see it lies with the company, not individual security guards. This is *way* above their pay grade! The security guards are doing what they think is right.
The CEOs and MDs are not stupid people. And to get where they are they will know the law regarding this sort of stuff. I'm surprised that a lot of major companies haven't put out a company wide email saying this is going on. I know most have, but clearly not all of them have yet.
@@SR1Recordsyour absolutely right, the main issue I’d highlight is that useful idiots just doing a job are the very people that allow tyranny to take hold. So while the bosses know what their ordering is unlawful it still takes an uneducated group of people to carry out those orders. Everyone should be invested in knowing basic law and especially their civil rights (and those of people around you)
@@JohnDoe-lx3dt Good point!
I love how DJ acts dumb while feeling people out for the bullshit they are spouting
Yeah that and the Back to work..Jibe. Love it.
Yeah, it comes naturally.
@motman3188 The voice of experience. You've got to be dumb to watch a video of somebody you hold in such low regard.
still not as dumb as the security guard.
Old school my arse.
My dad was old school and he showed respect until the other person showed they didn't warrant respect.
Well said! ❤
I was going to say something like this. If more people were 'old school' there would be less conflict, not more like he created.
@@TonyRule Ah , but if we were old school , then all the Gen xyz would go berserk calling us boomers , because they all want to look cool :)
More like stuck in his power hungry, insecure ways
Bless the security guard he started saying do you need then changed it to autherian mindoligy. Saved by the really nice guy in a shirt breath of fresh air 😊 well done djerkaudits 😂
09:20 - 10:20 made a brilliant BRILLIANT case to get him the hell away from the public
Great video and drone views with... puppy power! Good job Tony describing the products. 👍⭐⭐⭐
Past several years they have been doing good keeping the hedges trimmed. Across the street is athletic fields for Thomas Clarkson Academy, 1200-1300 students, and the proposed CHP incinerator about 1/2 mile southwest and Weasenham Lane a principle route for the 300 lorries per day.
Paul was going to kick your ass, your lucky Tony turned up.
🤣🤣🤣
*you're
TONY ABSOLUTE LEGEND AND GENT! Saved that big time!
Gooogled the security guards speech tic . It comes up as palilalia.
Reminded me of 4 candles .
You learn something new everyday
Tony is special. What a top guy. I bet everything he is he is amazing at. The guy in the hut was like a two ronnies sketch.
Imagine how good he is in bed! A lucky woman, whoever snagged that spicy sausage
Porky Pig in Looney Tunes - That's All Folks!
Great throw with the keyring DJ, I honestly thought you were heading for that lamp post just afterwards tho lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣
That was fun to watch, with good audio as well ! )
Thanks for sharing .
I hope when that ignorant security bloke goes on holiday he gets full written permission from all the building owners in the view of his camera 😂
Given how many people recognise you DJ and the positive interactions you have with them all plus that you are far from the only person doing this, I cannot help wonder why companies are still not aware of this type of content creation and do not have policy and procedures in place to better represent themselves when you come a calling.
It was the community manager of the building where I live, he put me onto you, and I know for a fact that he would be more than happy to let you do your thing here and I hope he would give me a shout so I could call down and say hello.
I hope if you visit Cardiff that I’ll be able a keyring to give to him. We are both big fans and I really enjoy getting to see aspects of industrial buildings and sites that I otherwise wouldn’t ever see.
Thank you.
Keep educating DJ.😎
That building is very shy, DJ. Don't hurt it's feelings by taking pictures of it. 😂
Are you sure you haven’t made a mistake 😂😂😂 I love this Channel 👊👍 D,J is the man 👍
🤣🤣😉😉😉
Monty Python couldn’t have written a better sketch 😂😂
I think the security guy just needs educating.. Tony's words " he is old school " he actually reminded me of my dad.. ( x force's company sergeant major) I think you handled him well but would be nice to be extra sensitive that he just didn't get it. It would have been nice to see a little more education to those that don't know about photography isn't a crime rather than them just guessing. All in all yet another very cool vid DJ☝️🤘
The security chap was buffering while talking , must be bad Wi-Fi around there.
🤣
Wh.. wha.. what you on ab.. about?
Tha-tha-tha-tha that's all folks!
Open all hours returns ......... Granville..,...
Yawn.
Nice appearance from Arkwright from open all hours in this video aka the security guard 😂
😅😅😅
So you think it's funny to take the mick out of someone with a speech problem impediment impediment
Another excellent video DJ 😊👍
Good video again DJ, Tony was great, very helpful, seemed to willingly offer up information about the Company!!
Its fucking Awkwright !! 🤣😂🤣😂
DJ and Tony Christie... Is this the way to Dronemarillo ??...🎵🎶🎶🎶🇬🇧
Very responsible drone flyer walks away from the dog before take off. Well impressed!
Good save by Tony 🎉
whenever greencore PR team look at this video, because they will, give Tony a raise, by far the most professional manager we have seen on DJ Audits channel👍
Security was only doing his job so good to him
Manger Tony very informative and very professional
had them ready meals very good thanks
Well done Tony!! No police needed, all ok from public...what a fantastic ambassador for Greencore!
Hi dj a Great video it's a shame all the managers are not like Tony he saved the day
Fair play to Tony. He is on the ball 👍🏼 Never heard of a “gerb“?
I'm not taking the micky outa that security guy but..anyone else remember "Open all hours"? G G G Granville 😁
"G-G-G-Granville... f-fetch your cloth..."
Yes you are!
Why are people who as children would see a camera and jump in front of it shouting “hello mum”……like I did lol….now think you can’t film things in public..I’m baffled by it…
Hello mum so right but a lot of them also give away their privacy Facebook etc etc
Sainsbury's played off five suppliers of ready meals against eachother, back in the 90's. That way they got the cheapest product.
You should always ask DJ, for SHAME!🤣
Oh shit, can I make a comment DJ?
Great to see you getting a mention and acknowledgement. This time next year you'll have your own TV series !
🀄🀄Ahh... I remember ' Open all hours '... Ronnie Barker at his best!
Tony was a top bloke. Paul however needs needs booting, should never be out in public let alone meet them 🤡
Every day is a school day....nice video...
Hi Dj I think it's called a wind sock, but could be wrong 😊
Top man coming out and apologising with such friendliness. Seems like a good company
Love the content lad from above.
Very local and interesting. Well done Tony nicely presented. Cheers DJ always good videos..
The boss handles this interaction very well ,good man
Great video DJ like how you play innocent
Well done Tony. Professional and polite.
Comments below, nobody chooses to have a stutter, please don't be so unkind. None of us are perfect! But well done Greencore, also, could you ask the supermarkets to up the size of the ready meals please??
Relax. It is called humour ... do you remember that ?
When I was an apprentice our lead draughsman was know as 'Ah, But, Ah, But, Brian'. He chuckled along with everyone else. (Before the modern snowflakes).
@@noelward8047 Should have called him "Donkey".
No way to make humour of any person is Disgusting Hurtful and is so Cruel to the Person with Stutter gets so upset I know
And just to say I'm older and not a snowflake
What happened about my comment about calling him "donkey"
Is there something in water in Wisbech?
Love your videos and that orange thing is a wing sock I think keep up the good work
Tony is a great brand ambassador, well done mate on being humble; I’ll make sure to look out for the items you mentioned next time I’m in the shops.
❤ Your work
omg lmaooo that gate house guy omg lmaooo... that tony guy that come out was awesome 👍😃👍 .. big thumbs up
Jerk !!!!! How very rude 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I heard it as germ first off 😮😂
'Jerk' isn't even a term we use in Britain. the security man has obviously been watching a lot of American TV shows to make him begin to use it so readily. I hate the creeping Americanisation of British English.
Tony was great! One of the nicest company representatives that has come out to greet you. I wonder how senior he was on site.
Security sounds like he has been on the ale
thumps up fot Tony!!
Big up Tony! Top bloke.
Top stuff as always DJ
Well done the manager. He was faced with a new situation where he didn't know the law but used common sense to work it out and had no ego problems to get in the way. Need more managers like him.
Hi DJ 👋
Nice one Tony, a stand up guy did his company proud there. 👍
Another good video DJ despite the shaky start due to the securities ignorance of our rights. Is it just me or do others feel the same regarding the multiple 'own brand' ready meals carrying no credit whatsoever to the company that actually produces the stuff?
Them ready meals are great 👍 that man was nice to u 🏆
“I’ve no idea” is 100% correct.
The Kiveton Greencore site is only 7 miles or so away from the Worksop Greencore factory. BP visits went there a couple of months ago, he had a good interaction there. I'd be surprised if PJ hasn't been to the one in Worksop
9:09 They don't employ the guy to protect the place. They employ him to check the vehicles coming and going. His job in protecting the place is to do nothing more than monitor and warn. His job is not to do anything about actual protecting of the place. For that well trained and muscular security people are hired for the job. That's why so many security guards are unfit slobs - because all they do is press a button to open and close a gate when a vehicle is coming or going.
There is always 1
Fair play Tony turned that one round, and that’s a credit to the company
DJ just got his first drive by with the key ring throw 👍🏻
Hiring security who don't understand very normal things? Excellent recruitment!
Just cracking up imaging a photographer having to walk into reception to get permission to photograph something in plain, publicly accessable view, and being told no.
Some 'Germ' is what I thought he said, total lack of respect for somebody in his position!
Don't usually comment but that's a 10/10 for Tony. He handled that like a true professional, he was a gent and seemed lile he really cared about his staff and the business. Unfortunate encounter with security, but Greencore have done a great job with Tony at least!
I wonder if security is open all hours! (Arkwright).
