if you have money then go with higher memory options. this method has some limitations. ( if frequently you have to move large files then this may may give some problems )

Best solution to transfer Procreate projects to the laptop 👏 and as long as that account and folder is created if u need to use another wifi connection u just have to add the new IP in the iPad Files app.

Also, when I converted the USD drive to FAT32 system I was unable to transfer an ISO file that was 5.8 GB :). I have seen your video and transferring now using your method. That's perfect for me really as I am still a new iPhone user and I hated this phone. Android is much better and flexible in such matters. Thank you for your valuable video. It really saved me.

in older versions of ipad os this feature is not available. i should have mentioned in the video. i can feel the pain of doing all these settings and in the end it doesn't work. really sorry :)

Just one minor problem I had following your instructions was when I came to 1:35 and clicked on 'Add someone else to this PC. When you do it a new window opens for you to go through the setup process, but on my PC (Win 10), that didn't happen. Instead a different window opened with three columns in it listing Local Users and groups, and no obvious way to proceed. But here's how I eventually did it. In the 'Actions' column click on Actions to drop down 'More Actions' sub menu Click on 'More Actions' and select 'New user' Provide a user name Provide a password Untick 'User must change password at next logon' Close all windows. Then I continued as per your tutorial, and it works great! Thanks!
Can I transfer without internet connection, and does this use up data? How can In make a fake wifi to connect to? What is this entire process called? Maybe it will be easier to find out more if we knew what to look for. Thanks for the super informational video though, works perfectly!
All you need is a local network in order for this to work. files will be transferred locally so it wont consume data. ( if you are connected to the internet then also no issue )

I have transfered a folder containing PDFs and MP3s, but when i copy or move the folder or parts of it to "On My iPad" folder, they do not work if i am not connected to the WiFi. I am looking for a way through which i can tranfer and take things with me. Any ideas? Thanks.
ok it works on external hard rives buthwo cna you share multiple folderS? eberytime u have to disconnect and connect to the other foldrs cant yyou accces many folders that are shared at once? or you have to choose one only? at a time
If this method is used will videos file be read easily on windows 10? Ive had method I used on other OS of windows like 8 and XP. In 10 movie files are playable?
@@LearningLad ok jus to be clear...this is only a way to TRANSFER files seamlessly on same network but this is not a replacement for backing up entire iphone data in case iphone data needs to be wiped without any other option since apple has made their products like that...correct? So we should always routinely be backing up our apple device data via Itunes or Icloud correct? Also doing these file transfers...lets say we transfer all the files from iphone to laptop using this method shown...if the iphone data gets wiped in the files app...all the files transfered to the laptop...will they also get wiped on the laptop as well...or just the iphone itself? Also is there any other way to backup iphone data without itunes or icloud? Both services are crap for windows without a MacOS i'm currently experiencing and just switching over to Android...

You just have to set it up once
After that open iPad/iPhone connect to the smb server and you are good to go

Hello, I have an error in my Ipad Pro M1 saying that there is a problem connecting to the server. I followed the step repeatedly.

i think it will be easy for you to change ip address than setting it to work automatically
