the 50mil came from one article from a source that isn't verified. the reason sensory tower only uses mobile is because it's impossible to get an accurate readings of pc sales. hence we generally ignore that. for instance a report on tof says it make 800k a month but the report states the company wad making around 9million a month hence you could argue that tof actually makes 9mil if you include pc.
Being "generous" is a good tactic, as they lose on their freebies but players start to invest more time and money on the game, since they will want to keep their great account meta, since they already have the foundation
We have to see a few months down the line tbh forest month hype. But Genshin has been declining while HSR thrives so a great time for gacha games clearly Firefly/Ruan Mei banner is gonna be a big banner I think
I'm not completely happy with the game, far from it, but still playing it and I'm happy that they take some profits away from the company I absolutely loathe -- Hoyo. So I can only wish them luck, but honestly I hope they'll stop trying to be like genshin and try to appeal to more adult players.
I feel its fine though sure can be some improvements but to each their own. Funny enough already seem more adult like if compare to the males between games. Lets be frank, guys in Genshin mostly look like kids compared to actual men in WuWa. Do side by side comparison it is funny cosplayer kid Dainsleif vs manly Calcharo/Jinyan.
@@MrAsuragrave I agree on that males of WuWa look WAY better and manlier (Calcharo, Yanwoo), but how on Earth is Jinyan "manly"? In any case, male characters interest me not, I just wish WuWa had more fanservice and maybe at least some blood?
ngl i wish they fix it as soon as possible in mobile me i dont really play on wuwa mobile but nowadays pepo playing in phone now even other pepo have pc they still want to play in phone it really help them alot if mobile ver is fixed and stable
It honestly could just be that most phones aren’t built for Unreal Engine. Genshin, HSR, PGR, and most phone games are built on Unity, while WuWa runs on Unreal Engine. Which Unreal Engine is used for better graphics and gameplay, usually for higher end pc games, while Unity focuses on performance. It may not even be bugs that are mostly affecting mobile performance, it could just be that a lot of people’s devices can’t run it properly.
@@TheWaifuConnoisseur honestly if that is the case (which it probably is), they should raise the requirement for the hardware. even then some high end mobile phones cant run it properly if i read some concern of that, so they need to give a solution somehow. they will lose the mobile market if this continue down the line.

This is across all platforms though this isnt gonna be mobile. I think mobile is gonna be 40 to 50 million low balling. PC is this games biggest player base, China also doesn't have the google play store, and 20% of this games revenue comes from china. So i dont think its gonna take the top spot on the revenue chart. I think its gonna be like last time it made more money than genshin in reality, but with mobile it will not.
you can make that same assumption with the hoyo games as both of those have a pc client and ps5 but we don't cause we don't know those numbers. Anything about numbers on those platforms are made up unless the companies themselves give them out.
@@TheChronix112 Except what makes wuthering waves more likely is it plays more like a PC game than a mobile game and the chinese said it would only make 10 mil for mobile low balling and it made 27 mill and the rest was gonna come from PC. So we have pretty good data that majority is on PC. Not to mention once wuthering waves released Genshin almost got passed by another game that wasn't even hoyo for the first time in it's lifespan.
@@TheFunnyscool you can say that same excuse for genshit or star rail, yet we never use pc or ps5 numbers because we do not know them. All we can do is wait for Tencent /Hero to release the sales numbers if they decide to do so, otherwise people are just guessing.

Meh wuwa will most likely become a niche game like pgr in the future, anyway. It’s never gonna beat genshin and hsr but will probably earn enough to get by. Skill based games doesn’t attract the casual crowd, which the majority of mobile players are
Eh, I'd be surprised if it drops to the level of pgr in terms of revenue. Especially with how hard it's being shilled everywhere compared to pgr. Think it'll do above average but probably won't be genshin numbers
Unless there are twice as many people who are paying on PC compared to mobile there is no way it's making that number. Especially when you consider that PC pay has been having many issues so it's much better and safer to just pay for things on mobile. Even discounting the time Sensor Tower was down effecting the sales numbers which effects all games not just Wuthering Waves, and considering that the first 2 days of Yinlin's banner which is when the vast majority of sales happen and the first 2 days of Jinhsi's banner at the end of the month wasn't effected I wouldn't say it actually makes much more than it does currently Genshins sales would have been hit harder considering that Sigewinne's and Furina's banner lost it's first 3 days.
@@Kobi805 that's what I've been saying, people have been using the phone market to buy things because the PC market has been having problem so it's easier and safer to pay for things on the phone market.

Even if they are doing well, the majority of the playerbase cannot play this without bugs, performance issues and many more optimization issues even though they like the game. The pre regis is more than 30 mil.. We dont know player who dont pre regist. Imagine.. 20-30℅ players that do a purchase.. Just $10 each evenmore whaling and I think its possible to reach that ammount. Its still gacha game.. Someppl is lucky with free pulls while someother dont.
Because free pulls do not necessarily affect revenue in the negative way. Take a look at Nikke's 1st anniversary where they give you 100+ pulls, in exactly in that month, Nikke's sales go up. This is because freebies can attract new players which are the game's potential spender. Note that Nikke is also some of the most generous gacha game out there and they're often just below HoYo's ranking in sales despite the being a lower scale game (2D shooter, as opposed to large scale 3D open world game).
People who were planning to spend anyways don't care about free pulls. People who care about free pulls probably weren't gonna spend in the first place.
It's deserved... Despite all the complaints, most of it were taken care of, and, most players didn't really have any issues besides server issues or the payment crash thing

One thing that i'd like to add is that, in the first revenue chart where WuWa came in 12th place, it wasn't 2 weeks since the game was out, it was ONE week so honestly, making it so far in only one week is insane.
I feel like a lot of haters took that chart to say WuWa wasn't doing THAT well but on the contrary it makes me scared to think of how but the number will be the next time they release a revenue chart
specially after Yinli broke the store with her release shdjkasd
Fr let's see when 1.1 drops, the score is gonna go up for sure 🔥🔥🔥
@@Khann_2102 Oh yeah, changli got me in her grasp already.

nahh, GI still holds in overall.
if wuwa beat GI for half year then yeah probably you can declare beat it for first time in the same genre. bcs theres so many GI player want spend their money no matter what. i mean, its pretty much like FGO tho
In its first year alone, the game brought in over $3 billion! This massive achievement made Genshin Impact one of the highest-grossing mobile games ever.
do u really think WW is going to make over 3 bilions in 1 year ?
@@kingvejita8827 thats why only "if", considering kuro always improve each patch and actually listen to the player.
but it will still decided on what event or content they will serve, because wuwa only won on graphic and playstyle alone from start...
It couldn’t even beat Genshin’s driest banner. Let alone matching its actual consistent success over time. It will not
Your model is always so cute, I love power
Keep in mind May was mobile only, the majority of players are currently on PC. It was reported they made 50M+ in total
the 50mil came from one article from a source that isn't verified. the reason sensory tower only uses mobile is because it's impossible to get an accurate readings of pc sales. hence we generally ignore that. for instance a report on tof says it make 800k a month but the report states the company wad making around 9million a month hence you could argue that tof actually makes 9mil if you include pc.
You gotta join the wuwa tournament man
Being "generous" is a good tactic, as they lose on their freebies but players start to invest more time and money on the game, since they will want to keep their great account meta, since they already have the foundation
We have to see a few months down the line tbh forest month hype. But Genshin has been declining while HSR thrives so a great time for gacha games clearly
Firefly/Ruan Mei banner is gonna be a big banner I think
and 1.1 is just around the corner
The guy is literally the same terminal case of fa--otry that plagues Genshin: female head complete with makeup, attached to a male body.
In any case, male characters interest me not, I just wish WuWa had more fanservice and maybe at least some blood?
Ah yes aged like fine milk in summer
Dont believe in random articles on the internet kids
forget Genshin,
it will be HSR vs WuWa revenue showdown 😂
"Cope, copium" - mintpickers crying
ngl i wish they fix it as soon as possible in mobile me i dont really play on wuwa mobile but nowadays pepo playing in phone now even other pepo have pc they still want to play in phone it really help them alot if mobile ver is fixed and stable
@@TheWaifuConnoisseur But, it's a gacha game, And, the backbone of gacha gaming is mobile. It should absolutely be a priority that it runs on most mobile devices.
Imagine for 1.1 lore, while everyone focus on jue in new expansion area. scar escape from prison and fucking up jinzhou from inside
Idk how they pull scar playable. He still gonna be evil and playable or he turn good and be playable?
@@saiavabel6076 Probably going to be similar to how they handled Luna, Alpha, etc. in PGR
@@saiavabel6076 sadly theyll make him an antihero. i just wish there was a pure villain playable but from what ive heard cn doesnt allow evil characters to be playable if its true it sucks :(

13mil in 2 weeks? Whats this guy on about?

Wuwa is the best. I lov it
Hope they will add controller support
This makes me want to spend more
110m or 70million in its first month and a half ? and 4th place in revenue of june 2024
it pays releasing your banner female early
Still a mid game
but enough about Genshin
@@TheChronix112 Except you cant cause there is more data to back up wuthering waves on that than Genshin's, and that's exactly why there estimations for PC for wuthering waves is higher than Genshin's.
They still haven't fix the FSR and capsule AO 😔
Meh wuwa will most likely become a niche game like pgr in the future, anyway. It’s never gonna beat genshin and hsr but will probably earn enough to get by. Skill based games doesn’t attract the casual crowd, which the majority of mobile players are
Eh, I'd be surprised if it drops to the level of pgr in terms of revenue. Especially with how hard it's being shilled everywhere compared to pgr. Think it'll do above average but probably won't be genshin numbers
Make this video again when Firefly comes out lol
not 2 week.. it's 5-6 days if i'm not mistaken
9 days
@@killuad0 ty for the precision

We’ll just have to wait and see on July pvp at r/gachagaming
Just rolling by from the future in July to say wuwa didnt make no 140m. It made 45m. Nothing more need to be said.
@@VandalieuPc market isn't so safe tho, there's a lot of people using mobile services from pc, me included
@@Kobi805 that's what I've been saying, people have been using the phone market to buy things because the PC market has been having problem so it's easier and safer to pay for things on the phone market.
Correction, they made 13M$ just on the CN version mobile overall just on mobile the made 25M and an estimated 50M in total
Yinlin/Jinhsi vs Firefly is going to be crazy

@@Aezthet1C nope firefly is tomorrow but jihnsi/changli is gonna be end of this month so next month wuwa revenue will increase unless it exceeds firefly in within 2 days 28th june- 30th june
It's obvious HSR will do better because of the sheer amount of players. But funny thing is Yinlin Vs Clorinde WuWa did better at least in JP, iirc as of currently it's 650m yen for Genshin Vs 750m yen for WuWa.
@@Mv-kn7qq well, as much as i like wuwa, beating firefly revenue is an almost impossible task

Its funny ... When you care more about your game than the money, you make more money
To be honest they care about player base so i as player base also give things back then, the minimal thing i can do is buying BP
Free pulls actually generate more money. Because it encourages the use of the gacha system, and incentivises spending.
the girls will make geshu lin banner go crazy, me included
It's deserved... Despite all the complaints, most of it were taken care of, and, most players didn't really have any issues besides server issues or the payment crash thing

Wuthering waves would have topped the charts, IF Firefly+Ruan Mei banner wasn't arriving in 2 days. Like Firefly is arguably one of the most hyped up character in gacha history. And that banner is bonkers, it might just go on to become one of the highest grossing banner in gacha history. So, yeah WuWa might be 2nd, but got no shot against HSR.
too much hype for a nothing burger character
