This part about conversations where people freak out about pauses is so relatable. I watch my old college buddies freaking out as they try to entertain me. I became self conscious because I could feel how uncomfortable they are and I wanted to help somehow.
My big family parties are like this and I basically get no conversations with anyone because I aparently make everyone uncomfortable. I'm happy just to be and thats just too weird.

I am so loving this conversation! I am blessed to have a group of friends who are all working on looking at our old ego patterns and supporting each other in stripping away those patterns to be seen and celebrated for who they are as souls. I’m of the Boomer generation so there has been a looong history of programming and ego behaviors to unravel and while I have been doing this self work since my 20’s - holy cow it seems the last 10 yrs or so has been a total trip on another level with so many people raising in the consciousness. Thank you for having this conversation on this forum for folks like me to grasp concepts and continue to grow from. I’ll be sending out some links!! Thanks guys!!!

Raised by a unaware grandiose narcissist mother, married an empath, had a 14 year affair and then left my wife and children for my new found soul mate only to find out with the help of divine intervention and the power of the universe that she is was in fact a malignant sadistic covert narcissist. Once finally awakened at 45 I suddenly realised my entire life was a illusion, a game, what I only see as unconscious living while my soul plan played out. Now spiritually activated and healed from my generationaI trauma I can see and work on my bad traits. Wow, so many things fall into place. I got this chronic illness that came when I was in a bad relationship, didn't want to break up because I wanted to fix it. I wanted to control how the other should evolve and after I got out of it, it is so much better, but it sometimes get worse again, and I've focused on food and not stressing, but now I realize that maybe it gets worse when I'm with someone and I feel like they can't follow my pace, and I keep wanting to control their pace of evolving so we can stay together. Maybe the illness will dissolve if I completely let go of that need for control, and just love people for who they are and where they're at. Thanks ❤️
