I am looking into pursuing my career choice in cosmetology because I love working with hair but I do have a hard time understanding the whole process on the different types of blonde looks and styles. Since I went to cosmetology school, I haven't had too much experience because I did not continue to pursue my career choice considering I was young and not thinking straight. Now I am a mother of a 1 year old and I want to do my best in life. You are SO GREAT! This was so helpful to me! After seeing so many videos this one has helped me the MOST to simply UNDERSTAND the foil placements are the key to the type of blonde effect you are trying to accomplish. Hi there! You can use any of these techniques on 3A/B curls-- the angle at which you place the foils will dictate how the hair will show up in the final result. We hope this helps!

I like the technique of pulling small sections and using a cattail comb and weaving the hair, it looks very natural. I apologize for saying this but those highlights look very chunky and very unnatural. Of course, if this is what your client wants, then it's fine.
