Awesome job hitting Robben with that first question Budda! I don't think he was expecting an existential question right off the bat 🙂 Glad to see you having so much fun!
Wonderful job on the interview. Robben Ford is always a blessing to hear musically and is also a joy to listen to in interviews and lessons. This was a delight. Thank you!
Robben is such a great guy. Just nice to see him out there always doing new things and keeping it 100% real all the time. I’m always inspired by him and always learning from him.
@@BuddaGuedes I am very interested in buying an early 1963 Fender Bassman Blonde 6G6-B amplifier (matching head and cabinet) all original and in mint condition. I live in Spain I don't know if you can get me one. It's the amplifier of my dreams. Brian Setzer uses this amp.
The bloke is clearly excited to meet one of his idols, lay off him. If you get annoyed about that, that says an awful lot more about you as a person than him. @@stephanleo
When you are interviewing a guest…..(1) we don’t care about your input or what you think- stop talking (2) let the guest speak and never speak over them or take over. Ask the question then get out of the way.
Robben is always so serious 😂and doesn't seem to have a sense of humor but I've always liked the guy and his playing! Always great tone and gear!! Very purest type and straight up !❤
Very honored to be featured on this board, sounds great!
And sounding great
Great interview, Budda! Robben's such a legend, loved his musical recommendations, great question.
Great recommendations indeed

The most decent man in music. Mr Ford. Love his contribution to the guitar as musical expression. He had produced so much as teaching materials.

He’s one of a kind
Hey Budda!!! Great interview and great channel! Thanks for all your work!
😍
I was NOT expecting this episode :D Thanks for sharing the interview and the playlist. I saw the concert and it was amazing!
🙏
Robin has been a huge inspiration for me in my playing ..particularly his jazz infused blues that is totally unique
He’s great
Very fresh and good !
Thank you !!!
He’s one of my all time favorites. I really hope that he will tour again in the states so I can finally hear him live
👌
Underrated channel, Budda, you’re a legend! Keep up the great content 🎉
Thanks a lot
Kudos to RB for the patience..
As a true guitar player, I love how Robben's rig keeps evolving !
Me too
Great interview, and love the positive attitude. Some great questions for the greatest
Thanks
Fantastic video!! What model of Matchless amplifier is the one in the video? I didn't know that Robben Ford also played with a Matchless amp.
It’s both my amps because he didn’t brought any amp. It’s a matchless dc30. You can watch it on my RUclips channel
@@BuddaGuedes Thanks Budda

Dude!!!!! Love this!!!!!

Alta cena brother!!! Ouvi-te há uns anos no Hot Five, ganda feel. Altamente, grande abraço!

What was he saying about the switch for the pickups? It's not a split? Parallel? How does it get thicker than the humbucker?
I couldn’t understand completely but it alters the pickup’s voicing making it thicker
@@BuddaGuedes maybe similar to the Myles Kennedy model, cutting highs?
Really interesting - pulling a lot of threads together.

Thanks for this cool vidéo

A 4k+ guitar into a 20$ roadrunner case.... He's a legend
When was this filmed?
November the 9th
@ 2024?
Jo! Veeery nice and geary! :-) What record you are referring to with the G400?
I’m sorry but I didn’t get your question!!
@@BuddaGuedes I am asking the album name. Robben plays the G400 on.
you have to hear jimmy whetherspoon robin ford at montreaux jazz festival
👌
well that was awkward
Wow!!!
nice !

Why hasn’t Dan commented
What do you mean?

Dêem uma Les Paul ao Senhor!!!!!

You should talk less and let the artist more….
is it me or turning on his amps for him seems wrong? lol
The amps are mine and he was not familiar with it. That’s why I did it
playing Matchless???
You're annoying in a very good way!.......A positive trait, of course!
😂
Way to begin with a stupid question to make it uncomfortable for everyone…
Is it a stupid question?!?! How do you see yourself?!?!? To me that’s the essential question!
Robben Ford seems tired and annoyed. He's not looking thrilled to be there.
I don't think so. Tired yes, but not annoyed.
Agreed, he seemed annoyed - probably didn’t like this guy touching his amps/gear.
The first two questions are very shallow. I'd be annoyed too.

I'd love to hear Robben do a new album with Mike Stern!!
