It’s really a shame that we don’t get myths like these in video games these days. Between data miners and RUclipsrs doing clickbait of any secret or Easter egg it’s extremely difficult to properly hide some secret for more than a couple of days. So it’s rare for modern games to have myths.
I think the most successful way I've seen it done was the Binding of Isaac devs did some secret ARG thing where once one of the players found proof of something secret ingame and sent it to the devs on Twitter, the devs then updated the game and added new content related to the secret. Can't remember the exact details so forgive me, but I remember that being a thing. That's really the only way to avoid dataminers cracking open your hard work trying to keep something hidden.
the old days of the Internet are now long gone, we will never have a period of time like we did back in the 2000s when the World Wide Web was still the Wild West and anything was possible.
@stupid Cat I disagree, a lot of times even if you, as a dataminer, have access to the end result, sometimes figuring out /how/ you trigger certain events and the like is still incredibly interesting. Just because you have the solution doesn't mean you can't have fun solving the problem...
@@Jinsoku440 Thats true, and within brand new games the secrets can remain for a while especially if they're a console exclusive. The secret door in Demons Souls PS5 was a fun hunt that got everyone wondering what the hell it was and how to open it. I remember finding out about CJ's mom ghost, I felt intense uneasiness every time I had to save a game in CJ's home. When I finally collected money for another apartment, I felt relieved.
I remember dreaming that i saw it and i mixed that with real life, so when i went to a friend's house and i claimed with full confidence that it DID exist and we instantly booted up the game and got into finding it After 2-3 hours of trying i realized my mistake
@@tor1zo Specially freaky when you consider that outside the walls there's only the void and occasional chunks of "ghost" towns I remember modifying a map in the MTA map editor once with a friend(you can swap between playing on foot and the editor on the fly), he left while i was testing the map and i was left in the interior alone Normally you at least hear the ambience of gunshots on the streets, but interiors? they are dead silent most of the time
@@rompevuevitos222 yes exactly, i remember me and a friend at 3 am we tried to get on the jefferson hotel void and the motel alone eas scary enough with nothing or no one there, when we actually got to get out of the hotel into the void i paused the game and left the room bc it was such an experience. i find it also creepy when (i played a lot of misterix mod) youre alone at night in an empty spot of the map you suddenly see something running to you from the distance (like the piggsy mistery or leatherface)
@@tor1zo I considered installing mysterix many times But by then i didn't se the appeal of it AND altho i wasn't willing to admit it, i wouldn't have the balls to stand in the forest while something suddenly jumps me, i'd have jumped off my chair and taken the PC down with me
If you still have the old PC version, you can always get the "Misterix Mod" which adds most of these myths into side missions. Cj's ghost mother, bigfoot, pigsy, desert demons, yeti and more. You play the game as normal and if you go to certain locations at certain hours you'll find these monsters and you can attack them.
For the CJs Mom's ghost myth, there is an NPC will rarely glitch through CJs house through the corner where the TV is and have a glitched darkened texture, which gets commonly attributed to a ghost or the girl from the Ring
I will say that in trying to find the proof of this again it's either been deleted or forgotten by the internet entirely. Oh well. It was probably something from a DarkMythHunter video
i saw that once in my life on a video and it scarred me for life, thank for letting me know what that was. i think thats why cjs house is so scary to me

You walked out in the woods, there was a hillbilly looking man there, it goes into a chase where you have to shoot bigfoot, I'm sure the text on the screen said the guy in bigfoot costume or something. I distinctively remember this
Although not necessarily a myth or legend and in fact a real thing, I remember that in the San Fierro docks at certain times when it was foggy, you could hear a distant ship honk, and that would cause the pedestrian NPCs to start panicking. I firmly remember this from my playthrough, and always found it quite creepy.
@@kiobio7311 Youre probably playing 3.0 or definitive edition. I remember a lot of occasions where NPCs would freak out for no apparent reason, so this doesnt seem too far off to me.

@@gvd72 Half-true I reserved for things you could see in the game but without the behavior described. Since the Psycho cannot be seen in the standard release of the game, I counted it fake.
There was no other feeling like the one you got when exploring those woods to find some of these legends. It was always eerie due to how alone it felt. Amazing video, definitely nostalgia fuel lol.
Man I miss these days. Back then the internet was all over the place, can't explain it, but until the mid 2010s nobody knew anything or how to properly fact check something I guess lol So while we all fell for hoaxes like the GTA SA mythos or even irl stuff, it was entertaining and interesting. It incentivized people to play the game and search for mysterious stuff and also created alot of fun discussions and conversations...
It was good times. Sucks that everyone now wants to be a fact-checker or data-miner, even tho we were dumb for believing it, at least we used our imagination hahah. Just not the same now.
@@ef5supercell Yeah! I mean, it's not bad to fact check stuff, but it's not fun when it's something harmless like these mysteries. Dataminers do suck tho hahahaha (jk, but they ruin the mystery often)
@@ef5supercell The lack of fact checking trough the internet is what allowed many tragedies to take place, and i'm not talking about gaming Do you think the US could hire mercenaries to overthrow governments like it used to nowadays? no, because of the internet and how the entire world became more connected I'd say the lack of mysteries is a worthwile downside
For the suicide photographer there's a spanish RUclipsr called detenshuon who ran a experiment to know if it's a mystery or a delivered choice, by mapping a bridge crossing the sea until the other side, if the pedestrian kept walking forward even after getting to the other side it meant it was delivered, but if it changed its path to the sidewalk, it was a glitch, and the results showed that the pedestrian actually followed the path of the sidewalk, confirming once and for all that it was a glitch and not an easter egg
@@rompevuevitos222 Just flavor text. It might have been an intended feature that never made it past the beta, as the game was meant to be much larger than it is now, but it's never been clear.
@@TotallyNotASpy1 Yeah, i've seen what the game had planned, even the DLCs which the modders managed to take advantage off Man, IMAGINE if they had the time and resources to fulfill all the ideas, hard to believe one of the best games of all times was meant to be even bigger
The demonic face in the garage is just a texture tiling error. The garage door texture is just a generic asymmetric png, which is mapped to the door model in a way that horizontally flips the texture from the middle. Such flipped symmetric images (like Rorschach tests) have a way of making people imagine faces and scenes in them due to pareidolia.
The suicidal NPC one is interesting, because it's in GTA 5 too, just not nearly as common. I have a clip saved on my PS4 of me riding a bike below the bridge separating mirror park from Vinewood, when all of a sudden this dude jumped off the bridge and plummeted to his death. Weird.
It's simply that the spawn points for street NPCs is sometimes set on roofs and other high places, since when they're placed it's done on a 2D grid system. So if they placed the spot just off by just a few centimeters it could end up on a roof or a telephone pole Sadly the definitive edition didn't fix that (not that it fixed anything anyway)
Yeah, in Grand Theft Auto 3 one of the radio station commercials said something about people jumping in front of cars so they can sue, and I started noticing they dive in front of your car on purpose all the time
I've had a few experiences in SA where NPCs would jump out of planes. I'd be walking down the street and some random person to splat in front of me. A few seconds later their plane would land down the road. I only saw it happen on PS2 version though.
It was fun watching those old videos on monsters and things found in GTA:SA, creepy X-files music adding to it, then trying to find them yourself. I kind of remember there was this "zombie lab" in San Fierro that had some theories tied to it.
Nah honestly the ghost cars still had something more to them I swear by it to this day. Some of them drove in circles, some of them would drive over you NOT INTENTONALLY mind you but it happened I remember them vividly cause like you said, it pushed a lot of us into finding out what else weird stuff GTA SA has. We always knew it was a glitch but no that car def drove itself sometimes.
I'm with Violet Cole, I've had the same experience with the ghost cars. Something to keep in mind, games are sometimes revised or updated over the course of the game's life. My copy of SA was from the launch of the game. Nothing says R* didn't fix a couple things in later copies of the game. Just like how the flying fish glitch only happens on the PS2 version, the ghost cars might not behave the same on PC.
I think the reason me and so many others believed Bigfoot videos on early 2000’s RUclips was simply due to the fact that we had no idea modding was even a thing. I played on ps2 and had no idea one could even mod a game on pc.
The amount of nostalgia I re-lived from this video is insane. Miss those days where me and my friends would try to find myths and while we obviously never found anything it's some of my favorite gaming memories.
I have some more myths that I remembered to add to this, great video btw : - Fire Dog Is said to be the ghost of a dog who died in an accident in the Quarry near Las Venturas, this myth turned out to be a hoax - Ghost Planes Planes would randomly fall out of the sky for no reason, one time a Beagle crashed near me near Back O' Beyond - Big Smoke's Ghost Big Smoke is said to haunt the compound he died in during the final mission, this myth is false IIRC - Blue Hell Players can fall out of bounds into the underside of the map, and they'll be teleported back into the map after falling to a certain point, this myth is a glitch - Falling Black Dots Random small, fast, and rare black dots can be seen falling from the sky in certain areas, it is a glitch but it's not known of what kind exactly. - Andromada The cargo plane from the Stoaway mission, I don't remember why this was a myth, the plane is just weird I guess - Ring Girl A pedestrian model can somehow glitch into CJ's house and appear on the game console, IIRC this was also false - Cave Monster False myth of a creature that is said to spawn in the cave in Fort Carson, there was a video showing this creature but it was a mod - Ghost Town Figure A black figure is said to appear in the Ghost Town in Las Venturas, this was never proven to be true - Tunnel Creature It's said that there is a creature living in the train tunnel in the outskirts of Los Santos, same as Cave Creature this was also a false myth - Jefferson Motel Ghost Ghosts is said to haunt the Jefferson Motel after the Reuniting The Families mission, it was most likely false but this myth is the exact reason I don't go into the motel back then
Big Smokes ghost is kind of true, but it is a glitch and only happens during the final mission. Once you kill him and the cutscene ends, if you go to the spot where he died, there's like an invisible wall around that small area and if you run into it he will actually say things like "Watch out, fool!" etc. Same thing can happen during The final heist mission, you know when you throw the tear gas down the vent? Well once you get down to the vault if you run into one of the guards on the floor, sometimes they say things. It's pretty funny lol.
@@zoltanz288 I've seen the plane's randomly crashing several times in the game I think it's supposed to be an attack like 9/11as it was still fresh in everyone's mind in 2004 but Rockstar would never admit that
Maybe it’s the 2000’s nostalgia coming back into vogue, but seeing San Andreas played with the CTR television-esque static filter makes the game look oddly graphically and “cinematically” better to look at. Your Manhunt video had the same vibe too which made the game even better to look at!
Well yeah, these older games were made for 640x480 CRTs, which is why remasters often feel weird. The games were never meant to be seen at this aspect ratio and resolution, making visual flaws much more apparent and damaging effects that were only possible due to the way CRTs worked, like how the waterfalls in Sonic 1 have a rainbow effect to them on a CRT display, but not when emulated or played on modern hardware.
@@aortaplatinum so nobody knew 18 years ago we'll be sat around watching early 2000s video games on handheld devices with an aspect ratio depending on whether you jiggle it accidentally in the middle of watching lol they really should have seen that coming
23:55 Probably a glitch. You can play as a headless character by decapitating the other player during co-op and restarting the multiplayer mode. The player 2 model will remain decapitated and even leave blood trails .
When I was a kid, I was playing the game, and decided to take my first plane ride. I dove out of the plane after a bit given the option, and realized about halfway through that I didn’t have a parachute. I plunged into that fault-line area, and saw the shark’s tail. The chances of it spawning were ridiculous, and I had such a troublesome time convincing classmates and people online that it was real. You can only imagine my excitement when it was confirmed by DaviDustin, DarkMythHunter, and everyone that followed with their hunts.
So there's a rare thing that happened to me playing this game years ago that I never see anyone talk about. Basically, if you get level one wanted level, so the police won't shoot, and you start climbing up this construction site that has a very narrow way up, the police will start "talking you down." Basically trying to convince you not to commit su*cide. I can't remember where exactly the construction was at but it only happened to me once and surprised the hell outta me. Never heard it mentioned in any videos either
@@TotallyNotASpy1 I'll have to try to get a recording of it sometime. Only problem is that it was on the original game which I have for ps2. The recording would end up being shit tier
The scariest part of this video is having to watch Zero's missions play in the background. I'm having flashbacks... But yeah, I can remember sleepless nights, hanging out at my friend's place, running around Back o' Beyond, trying to find anything remotely spooky.
Been watching videos about GTA San Andreas mysteries since I was 12 years old, seeing a video like this today when I am 18 makes me feel 12 again, thank you for making such quality content!
I had a one of those old third party cheat code magazines that featured gta, and they straight up claimed to have a code that claimed to enable you to go to space or something insane like that.
Holy shit, I remember those “Myth Hunting” videos. I remember being actually scared of San Andreas since I didn’t know what GTA was all about (and back then, I didn’t know English, so I didn’t know what GTA even meant).
Flashback to all those spanish text to speech videos, my god those were my childhood, even when not understanding a word of what they were saying - you just knew everything they meant
This trope that CJ dies after being left alone idling is really simple. GTA SA has a hunger system which triggers after playing for 72minutes (3 ingame days). The game will warn you that CJ is hungry, demanding you to search for food to keep him going. If you ignore that demand, the game will slowly decrease CJs fat (if he was any) every 1 ingame hour (1 minute in real time) and after fat has been depleted, the game will drain muscles and finally health. CJ will starve and respawn in front of the hospital. Most people never know about this because they either save the game or eating from fast food places, vending machines or stands. That resets the hunger counter.
I remember this because you could make cj visibly fat and loose that from various actions in the game like swimming and working out which would also give him a ton of muscle
Actually, of all the NPCs in the game, it would actually make the most sense for trench coat guy to attack you if you followed him around. He sounds like a disturbed and paranoid individual and like he's be quick to assume that people are government agents sent to either spy on him or take him out.
to add onto why you seemingly die after you leave your game on in popular myth spots; the game has a starvation system. if CJ hasn't eaten in a while his health will slowly drain to zero. it's extremely slow however, which is why people tend to not notice
as a kid i watched all of these myths and legends play out as they we're made since 2009-2015 so i knew about pretty much most of these, but as a dumb kid i didn't know what a mod was and i only had a PS2 so i didn't know they weren't in the game. but even now as an adult going to Back O' Beyond and the cabin in the woods still freak me out. one of the mods that scared me most as a kid was one that spawned in a tan alien with spikes for hands or something, one was in a tunnel by the desert area which was the first video i saw of this mod and i had to go in there as a kid and was relieved it wasn't real 😅
2:36 I loved this game as a kid. Even the little Easter eggs like man hunt and other GTA model toys. Just tiny things most people don't notice when playing it Thier first time.
Always loved old gaming legends like this!! Remembering the old Luigi in Mario 64 days and unlocking Sonic in Smash Melee lmao. It's a blessing and a curse how mods and hacking have become so easy these days that these kinds of gaming legends can't really exist anymore, definitely not to the extent they once did. I wish I could go back to the early 2000's internet and see all these discussions about hidden stuff that no one 100% knew existed or not. It's sad that as we gain knowledge, we lose the magic that was once there instead.
I think the myths about leaving the game idle and appearing at the hospital is due to starving after not eating food for 3 days without any fat or muscle.
There's something that's been bugging me since 2007. I swear on absolutely EVERYTHING that Leatherface is real in San Andreas. This has been on my mind since then so I'd love for anyone to read and reply to this. So for context, this was on a completely unmodded copy of San Andreas on the PS2, I was doing the Countryside Cesar racing missions, the ones where you start next to some abandoned shacks, and after finishing the Woozie race, before I could start the next one, a NPC in a tractor left one of the shacks and started speeding up towards me, and since I was a kid, I loved to use cheats so I had stuff like the "cars you touch explode" and "cars you touch float in the air" cheats active, so my first reaction was to speed towards him to kill the "killer", and when his tractor exploded, he dropped a chainsaw. This NPC did NOT have an unique face texture or even a leather face, I can't remember which NPC exactly it was but it was just a normal countryside NPC, except in a tractor and holding a chainsaw which I presumed would've used to attack me with once he left the tractor, keep in mind while in the tractor he was speeding up towards me to ram my car with, exactly like aggro'd NPCs do in San Andreas. Keep in mind I was around 8 at the time, so my first reaction was to go to some San Andreas myth forum and tell everyone in broken English how I saw Leatherface 100% real no fake, of course everyone shoo'd me off and told me to stop making stuff up. But something about that encounter really stood out to me, because it ACTUALLY happened and I remember it very vividly. It wasn't my first time beating San Andreas, I had already beat the game twice at that point, so I was used to the layout and everything, and in no point a chainsaw wielding NPC in a tractor ever came out in that area to attack me except this one time. One thing I've also been thinking about this whole situation, is that I was born in the third world, right? So stuff like "GTA Rio de Janeiro" or "GTA Thailand" or whatever were pretty common here as bootlegs, however I know for exact sure I had an unmodded copy of the game, I have plenty of experience with these kinds of bootlegs from playing at friends' houses (they're just normal copies of San Andreas but with cheat menus and reskins, like Rio de Janeiro has the gangs reskinned to have football team jerseys), so I'm just wondering what the hell happened in my copy if it was unmodded? Surely someone wouldn't have been as sadistic enough to make a San Andreas bootleg with just one mod adding a Leatherface NPC and sold it on the grey market as normal base GTA:SA, right? I can't stop thinking about this and I don't know where else to comment on it. Thanks for reading if you make it to this point.
NPC’s can use chainsaws like any other weapon in the game and may randomly spawn with them depending on cheats enabled. I don’t think there’s much more to it.
@@trentn1127 I guess so, it just felt so freaky and deliberate to me at the time. Seeing the NPC just chase after me on a tractor in the middle of absolutely nowhere, just crazy man. San Andreas still has something "creepy" about it, like there's always something lurking about.
Remember that leather face's model is re-used from another NPC AND the textures are also a modified version of that one NPC So it would be easy to mistake it
There is a leather face that spawns on that dock just doesn’t look like the ones in the video, myth is somewhat true. It’s never confirmed as leather face but if you go to that dock shown with the wheelchair at a certain time there will actually be a guy sitting in the wheelchair with a chainsaw
1:53 I experienced something in GTA V, that I'll never forget. During the Mission of chasing the O'Neil brothers when they were in the forest, I could see a posture resembling bigfoot (it was shown as an actual creature on the nightvision scope) and when I shot it, it just dissapeared.
Don’t worry buddy, thousands of people saw the same thing, and I’m pretty sure a good portion of those players were kids, so you’re not the only one going crazy xD
When I saw that figure, it completely caught me by suprise and I even shot it, but nothing happened and it disappeared, i felt something was wrong but i progressed through the mission.
I had definitely seen a shark in GTASA, so thank you for the vindication. Could you do the NPC that supposedly asks you to hit them? Vinesauce Joel went looking for her and couldn't prove she existed either way.
As if the country side wasn't spooky enough at night, these theories started to flow around and i would go as far as to restart the game if i ever ended in the country side at night. With night fog it was one of the biggest scares that i had as a kid, and i beat Amnesia with little issue Later when i got into modding i confirmed that there where none of these creatures first hand, since there where no models or textures for any of them
Used to think the same but we may never know that, rockstar probably changed and it took out a lot of features in their past versions after losing their licenses and since since beta development.
That's what made games good back then. No info, Just tricks playing in ur mind, myths, etc. Now we can find everything we want in game through game files
Spending hours watching SA myths compilations, all of them 360p with the X-Files theme song and a bad text-to-speech has to be one of the fondest memories of my childhood.
Definitely would love to see a follow up to this with more other stories within gta whether hoax or true. Whether it be certain games or just random ones. Definitely got a possible series on ya hands!
One of my favorite gaming memories was packing up my PS2, bringing it over to a friend's house on Friday the 13th during a rainstorm, and searching through the foggy forests around Mt. Chilliad for Jason and Bigfoot 😅
Dont forget the many videos of tsunami in san andreas or loquendo gta tsunami fin del mundo bla bla bla videos during the time where the movie 2012 just got out
I remember playing this game on the ps2 and being scarred of being in Mt Chilliad, my room being dark and it being night outside didnt help at all but those were some nice times trynna find bigfoot and watching all those unregistered hypercam and fraps videos just to see if I can find him on my own.
I remember when I used to watch a bunch of myths and legends videos on san Andreas when I was younger, despite them mostly being fake I really thought it was such a cool aspect to actually have in a game, the idea of a bunch of creepy stuff possibly happening that isn’t explicitly known to you as the player. I think it really takes the fun out how you can check the game files now to easily confirm or deny any of these possible myths and legends.
Not sure if it's on this list or not but has anyone else seen the small beach next to a countryside road that is usually empty but NPC's will pull up and get out of the car. And if you kill them they will respawn when you aren't looking 100% of the time
My cousin and I did our first RUclips video on my channel about ghost cars, such a good memory, I miss the days we sat and thought we were cool cause we were “myth hunting”

@@Thodoraras2000 that wasn't meant to be taken seriously, especially since i mentioned 'leaving him on a highway' where things tend to get kind of crazy at times lol but yeah, that's a possibility if you go afk in ballas controlled regions or simply standing idle until he starves to death.
I hate walking around Carl's house. His mom's ghost rumors really bothered me but just knowing she died there, being alone in the quiet there... Unsettling. Just very disturbing in a way I can't place, just like many places in San Andreas. A type of unease I haven't felt in any other GTAs.
There are other myths out there in San Andreas that weren't mentioned here: The Moon- Whenever nightfalls in San Andreas, you can use a Sniper Rifle and shoot the Moon. This in turn will cause the Moon to grow slightly bigger, I think you can shoot it like 3 times before it shrinks to a much smaller size before the cycle repeats. Ghost Graffiti-I remember in one of the graveyards, I think it's the one where CJ's Mom was buried that at a certain time, a patch of graffiti will magically appear. And unlike most graffiti, you cannot spraypaint over it. The Face Rock Teleporter-I think that in the same area where the Ghost Cars are sits a rock that has a black etching of a face. But that's not all, apparently if you drive into said rock you might have a chance to fall through it and end up being teleported. Ghost Planes-Similarly to the Ghost Cars, on occasion you can hear and see planes fly over your area. However after flying a certain distance the planes will abruptly and suddenly despawn.
Damn, this video reminds me of the good old days of "Guys, I swear I'm not using any mods, here's the evidence of Bigfoot/Leatherface/Jason/Piggsy in the game" - and showing the footage of an epic CLEO scripted Boss fight with power and health bars...
To add to the Bigfoot mystery, they also said something was in the forest, and I remember seeing a video that talked about these myths and catching something for a brief second but was too quick to see what it was...
There is a ghost car that just moves on it's own, no cliff or anything, literally moving without a driver and you can see it in the "Farewell, My love..." mission.
I never played this game ever, never plan to, but I always watched the myths and legends videos that one guy made, as well as some other super obscure videos I doubt I can ever find again. It's nice to see someone covering these.
Honestly, in overall content it's better than GTA V by a long shot But the lack of ragdolls and other minor features kinda put people off The story is one of the best of all the games but it's a GTA game, so that bar is pretty low to begin with

I know how to play so there's no frustrating stuff coming out of nowhere, but for a new player it may be jarring
I'm surprised that sharks were actually doubted as being real. Back when I was a kid in the mid-late 2000s I found sharks myself after watching quite a lot of videos showing the locations where they could be seen. Even back then, these videos all said that the sharks were passive and just swam around.
Rockstar also acknowledged the many serial killer myths, the killer clown myth, and the ghost car myths by putting them into GTA Online for a Halloween event. The ghost car is a direct reference to Christine since it’s looks similar to it. And one of the serial killers spawns in the woods which is very similar to the Leatherface, Jason Voorhees, and Stalker myths.
The headless man is actually real. On the PS2 version if you use the multi-player mode and get beheaded with a Katana your character can get stuck in the beheading animation so you can walk about headless with blood spurting out of your neck.
this type of content is so nostalgic, I know that 99% of these are bulshit, but so many of these became real thanks to mods and it shows how passionate the fandom of this game is to this day
I had enough with the "ghost" cars in San Andreas.. (I played the game at the time of release, and I do remember seeing awfully compressed "screengrabs" of Big Foot back then)

Man I miss these days. Back then the internet was all over the place, can't explain it, but until the mid 2010s nobody knew anything or how to properly fact check something I guess lol
So while we all fell for hoaxes like the GTA SA mythos or even irl stuff, it was entertaining and interesting. It incentivized people to play the game and search for mysterious stuff and also created alot of fun discussions and conversations...
It was good times. Sucks that everyone now wants to be a fact-checker or data-miner, even tho we were dumb for believing it, at least we used our imagination hahah. Just not the same now.

I personally thought it was just a really low resolution graffiti of a bunny head with cartoon googly eyes. Guess I got paroidolia'd.
So if they placed the spot just off by just a few centimeters it could end up on a roof or a telephone pole
Sadly the definitive edition didn't fix that (not that it fixed anything anyway)

One thing i remember about them is that the ghost cars are invincible, and cannot be repaired, which is interesting

The amount of nostalgia I re-lived from this video is insane. Miss those days where me and my friends would try to find myths and while we obviously never found anything it's some of my favorite gaming memories.
Same, used to watch these documentaries on myths of GTA world.
I have some more myths that I remembered to add to this, great video btw :
- Fire Dog
Is said to be the ghost of a dog who died in an accident in the Quarry near Las Venturas, this myth turned out to be a hoax
- Ghost Planes
Planes would randomly fall out of the sky for no reason, one time a Beagle crashed near me near Back O' Beyond
- Big Smoke's Ghost
Big Smoke is said to haunt the compound he died in during the final mission, this myth is false IIRC
- Blue Hell
Players can fall out of bounds into the underside of the map, and they'll be teleported back into the map after falling to a certain point, this myth is a glitch
- Falling Black Dots
Random small, fast, and rare black dots can be seen falling from the sky in certain areas, it is a glitch but it's not known of what kind exactly.
- Andromada
The cargo plane from the Stoaway mission, I don't remember why this was a myth, the plane is just weird I guess
- Ring Girl
A pedestrian model can somehow glitch into CJ's house and appear on the game console, IIRC this was also false
- Cave Monster
False myth of a creature that is said to spawn in the cave in Fort Carson, there was a video showing this creature but it was a mod
- Ghost Town Figure
A black figure is said to appear in the Ghost Town in Las Venturas, this was never proven to be true
- Tunnel Creature
It's said that there is a creature living in the train tunnel in the outskirts of Los Santos, same as Cave Creature this was also a false myth
- Jefferson Motel Ghost
Ghosts is said to haunt the Jefferson Motel after the Reuniting The Families mission, it was most likely false but this myth is the exact reason I don't go into the motel back then
the planes thing is a bug.
That damn falling planes caused me almost wasted during the photo opportunity mission

LOQUENDO TURUN TURUN....LOQUENDO
@@maximillianlylat1589 also when you are holding weapons. Mostly two handed weapons
This was my childhood back in 2009, can't forget 009 sound system
I still love how Rockstar acknowledged some of these myths and put them into GTA 5
Made me nervous having those Zero missions playing, I've played those too many times.
Remember that leather face's model is re-used from another NPC AND the textures are also a modified version of that one NPC
So it would be easy to mistake it
@@trentn1127 i dont think ever ever seen an npc with a chainsaw even with everyone is armed cheat enabled.

1:53 I experienced something in GTA V, that I'll never forget. During the Mission of chasing the O'Neil brothers when they were in the forest, I could see a posture resembling bigfoot (it was shown as an actual creature on the nightvision scope) and when I shot it, it just dissapeared.
It’s a Easter egg
Don’t worry buddy, thousands of people saw the same thing, and I’m pretty sure a good portion of those players were kids, so you’re not the only one going crazy xD
@@ILikeSoda229 I ain't a kid , nor I'm going crazy. I just wanted to point it out.

With night fog it was one of the biggest scares that i had as a kid, and i beat Amnesia with little issue
Later when i got into modding i confirmed that there where none of these creatures first hand, since there where no models or textures for any of them
Used to think the same but we may never know that, rockstar probably changed and it took out a lot of features in their past versions after losing their licenses and since since beta development.

My cousin and I did our first RUclips video on my channel about ghost cars, such a good memory, I miss the days we sat and thought we were cool cause we were “myth hunting”
Did you guys know that if you leave your game open when standing in the middle of the highway and the come back CJ will be at the hospital?
It's really disturbing!!!
Okay but now seriously, nicely done video. Loved it :)
because he will die of starvation or ballas to that matter
@@Thodoraras2000 that wasn't meant to be taken seriously, especially since i mentioned 'leaving him on a highway' where things tend to get kind of crazy at times lol
but yeah, that's a possibility if you go afk in ballas controlled regions or simply standing idle until he starves to death.
the good old days of looking at bigfoot videos with "clubbed to death" playing
Videos ending with a default blue screen and title text saying "Thanks for watching!". Iconic.
I used to watch the myths videos of gta sa but this video has almost all myths of gta sa NICE VIDEO KEEP IT UP 👍👍👍
its funny how many serial killer "myths" there are as if cj himself isnt a mass murderer
I hate walking around Carl's house. His mom's ghost rumors really bothered me but just knowing she died there, being alone in the quiet there...
Unsettling. Just very disturbing in a way I can't place, just like many places in San Andreas. A type of unease I haven't felt in any other GTAs.
There are other myths out there in San Andreas that weren't mentioned here:
The Moon- Whenever nightfalls in San Andreas, you can use a Sniper Rifle and shoot the Moon.
Ghost Graffiti was confirmed if you didn't know! I remember watching videos on it as a kid and getting deeply unnerved by it.
all of those are not myths.
Yeah, I remember hearing about that, that there was still something there
There is a ghost car that just moves on it's own, no cliff or anything, literally moving without a driver and you can see it in the "Farewell, My love..." mission.
I never played this game ever, never plan to, but I always watched the myths and legends videos that one guy made, as well as some other super obscure videos I doubt I can ever find again.
It's nice to see someone covering these.
wus is the sticky paddle..? 🤔
Honestly, in overall content it's better than GTA V by a long shot
But the lack of ragdolls and other minor features kinda put people off
The story is one of the best of all the games but it's a GTA game, so that bar is pretty low to begin with
@@rompevuevitos222 tbf its a pretty old game nowadays, so getting into it is a bit annoying
@@Channel9iNE I guess there's some stuff that's a bit unforgiving for people used to more forgiving games
Like loosing your stuff on death or arrest (which you can avoid by finding certain girlfriends but that's something else)
Now that you mention it, idk if i could get into it from 0 myself. I know how to play so there's no frustrating stuff coming out of nowhere, but for a new player it may be jarring
These myth videos used to get me so paranoid lol I got so scared watching these but I still did it lol
Blue chicken man is believable af
I believe in Kiflom supremacy
Thank you, based Kiflom
Man, i remember spending hours watching creepy san andreas myth videos on RUclips when i was a kid
Man I remember when I watched those big foot videos as a kid, I was scared to even go into the woods afterwards
I'm surprised that sharks were actually doubted as being real. Back when I was a kid in the mid-late 2000s I found sharks myself after watching quite a lot of videos showing the locations where they could be seen. Even back then, these videos all said that the sharks were passive and just swam around.
You can actually find a new under one of the trucks if you can push it over
Rockstar also acknowledged the many serial killer myths, the killer clown myth, and the ghost car myths by putting them into GTA Online for a Halloween event.
These myths and legends really take me back to my childhood. Good times
Someone should do a big mod pack that adds all of these myths on the PC version of the game just to see how the game is according to 2010 claims.
This is the first time I don't know if it is a humorous sarcastic comment, or someone who really doesn't know. lmaoo
There's a dozens of those in the gta sa modding site
I remember being 9 and watching these with xfiles music playing on low volume and being scared af
Seeing all of these makes me realize how gullible we were as kids lol
most still are.
this type of content is so nostalgic, I know that 99% of these are bulshit, but so many of these became real thanks to mods and it shows how passionate the fandom of this game is to this day
Do you love 💖 The GTA Video Games 🎮🎮🎮🎮?
Honestly these myths actually makes the games world fells more alive.
I had enough with the "ghost" cars in San Andreas..
(I played the game at the time of release, and I do remember seeing awfully compressed "screengrabs" of Big Foot back then)
I am so excited for the Quest 2 version of San Andreas. The hype is real.
Damn that Shark man. I remember..
man these myths are so nostalgic. i remember being little and thinking a lot of these were real and going out to find them on the map, good times
When I was little I was scared asl of bigfoot and thought it was true
