The "Yes, many have" makes him either God or the Devil in my mind. From the phrase "God, damn you!" as if you are damning God himself and not asking God to damn another, or from him being "damned" as the Devil was damned by God. Before being cast out and damned by God, the Devil was an angel.

The Donkey Lady actually reminds me of a glitch I used to get in Undead Nightmare a lot; After playing for a while, eventually the undead would stop spawning and become replaced with actual people as though this was the main story. So instead if a horde of zombies, it was just a horde of guys all just walking about going about their day. Eventually the undead would spawn back in and they would attack and it would cause a really cool fight between them which I thought was intentional as I did just save the settlement. I still haven't played it again to this day but I think I've lost the disc I used to play it so hopefully one day when I replay it, it wont happen again.
What people miss about the ufo Easter egg a nod to heavens gate, is the fact they’re all wearing the same boots just like irl well besides the fact the heavens gate members were wearing Nikes.
That was an awesome video adding even more interest to my favorite western and rockstar game. Had no idea about the blackwater Aztec mystery so that was awesome!
Not sure if anyone has said this but there is more in relation to the heavens gate reference. You can find a camp (can’t remember where) where everyone is dead, covered with blankets up over their faces, and all wearing the same shoes. This is pretty much exactly how heavens gate ended.
Idk how much of a mystery it is but one thing in Red Dead that always caught my attention was the black flower. There's not a lot too it but the old blind man Cassidy will has a phrase "I see sand, an ocean and palm trees. Find the black flower and you will be heavily rewarded" and if you go to the Scratching Post under the N in New Austin, there's a small hut with a painting of a beach and this very unique model of a black flower on a bedside desk in which if you open you get some rings and an 'ancient necklace' item. I may be a little biased since I first came across it not knowing anything about it and having not had the phrase from Cassidy said to me but the unique model of the black flower really threw me off, it's kinda creepy looking? And the hut itself has a lot of stuff going on, it looks like it was owned by a trapper or something, it has alot of animal skins inside and it has what looks like a buck skull on a pike outside. In RDR1 there's not much going on, all the decoration isn't there but there's a chest inside you can open. In Undead Nightmare, I think there is a mission to acquire the Army Uniform that takes place there too. The place and the black flower has always stood out to me and I see so little talk about it, it's very interesting.
This was wonderful.. I would love to see a follow up to this and others like it.. It would also be cool to see you do a deeper dive into some of the bigger mysteries.. Anyways, great job, you've gained a new subscriber!
It honestly blows my mind at the detail they’ve put into this game. Even crazier to think there still may be some small detail no one has found yet. I love GTA, Red, any rockstar title. I’d really like to see them start a new franchise of some sort. Something new and a fresh you know
Something to mention about the strange man is that when he kept saying “this is a fine spot” in rdr1, that same spot eventually became Johns burial site
7:50 (GAVIN) This seems to have gone over a lot of people's heads, including mine for a while. The letter on his body explains everything, his friend who wrote the letter mentions Nigel pretending to be a Londoner with a cockney accent when they were kids. He has multiple personality disorder, or maybe schizophrenia. Anyways, when Nigel was pretending to be a Londoner, his friend Tom failed to realize that he was mentally ill. That was Gavin coming out of Nigel as a child. Gavin is in the game, right in front of our faces. Nigel is Gavin. Gavin is Nigel.

funfact about the ufo shack: the cult members all lying in their beds, covered in blankets with the same pair of shoes on is an obvious reference to the heavensgate cult, who all died in their beds, covered in blankets, with the same pair of shoes on. there are pictures of them online
I found a random shack with a single end table, and when I searched the drawer, there was wring carved into it that said, "You'll flourish before you die"
The creepiest thing i've ever had happen to me in RDR1 is walking through Odd Fellow's Rest. there was a guy crying bent over a grave. I stop and watch for just a moment before a sniper bullet whizzes just over my head and hits the guy.
Wtf? That would’ve made me laugh tbh 😂 It reminds me of the creepy encounters in undead nightmare where someone would be crying hysterically over the body of a loved one and they shoot themselves in the head, but I don’t remember if it happens in the main game
Referring to the Gavin thing. It's been a while since I played but in the north of the map up near an old fort there's a random body that spawns on the side of the road. I remember running into it on my first playthrough and I figured maybe it was just some random thing. Like a death that wasn't scripted to be there but the same body showed up again on my second playthrough and even my third. I have no idea why and after looking it up there's just more people like me asking the same question. My theory is that this may be gavin. The body is dressed well in a blue suit and looks similar to Nigel.
If you go to the Aberdeen Pig Farm, you can find some toys that look identical to the princess' toys which can be found on her luggage in Van Horn. It could be a coincidence, or maybe there is something more to it.
That Bennet grave could be an easter egg to Justified since it takes place in Harlan County in Kentucky and all but 1 member of the Bennet family lives
You know the mission where you meet Bronte for the first time? Well during the cemetery shootout I legit saw a ghost, full body apparition walk in front of me and turn right and when I turned with my gun it was gone. I recorded a clip of it
that happened to me too. i didn’t get a clip of it and he didn’t run towards me he ran away from me. i even chased after him but when he turned a corner he was gone. i thought maybe a glitch happened and one of the grave robbers spawned in a spot before they were supposed to. but the grave robbers were dressed differently than this man. very creepy
In the cemetary, you can find a women. She isn't an apparition. She just gets scared. Also, the man is just a drunk. You need to encounter him to get Gold for that missions. Encounter the drunk and Dog.
I had no doubts of how alive the world in RDR2 seems, but it really opened my eyes learning there are actual train schedules and the train is always moving, always somewhere.
@DeadSet15 - Hrvavik apparently Rockstar cut out some stuff that would've been awesome. There's a channel called Strange Man, it goes into detail about content that was cut out
my theory is for the meteor is since you said having them reduces hotness from clothing what if the 3rd piece was in the black water/desert area which is locked and we can’t find it then was just scrapped since it’s locked from invisible sniper
i think the “trelawny is the strange man” meme is cringe but i like to imagine that might have been a consideration in john’s head as he angrily asked for the strange man’s name.
I know I’m a year late on this video bro but this helps so much I love to game and find a bunch of Easter eggs and stuff so it’s definitely got me hooked back into red dead one.
why are the nightfolks the only enemy who can instakill you! one hit from that dudes with the machete or knife and youre done! why? i always wondered if theres more to it.
the women ghost that can be found of foggy nights and screams and attacks the player sounds like a nightfolk trap you can encounter in the marshes near saint denis
this world is amazing, and the best thing is myths and legends now actually exist and are not just random stories made by the players, you can play detective and read the newspapers and stuff and most likely you will find something
Don't know if you missted it or not but the myth in RDR 1 about the still creek ghost is referenced in RDR 2 with a ghost of the women in swamps showing up at night with better chances at spawning during foggy weather like in the original myth. Unlike the myth, you do not get attack if you approach here. Instead she simply disappears. That said, everytime I see her in game I get attacked by nightfolk so maybe that was Rockstars way of honoring the myth but could just be a coincidence and I'm just very unlucky.
There's so many big and small Easter eggs in RDR2 that tbh I don't believe all of them have been found entirely and even at that if they are then they're still fun af to go back and see, RDR2 just hit every note right in terms of an amazing game!
There was also dialogue found in the files that said to take the princess to the sheriff in annesburgh, it was just another side mission like the giant in the cave that was sadly cut from the game,
I actually love the Gavin one because I read once that it is a joke by the Rockstar employees. Gavin is apparently an employee who is always late or missing from the office and they added the guy looking for him as a joke.
Was I the only one that found the "my son my beloved son" written in John's barn in the last act of the first game? I assumed it was related to the I know you man.
An abandoned house in Gaptooth Ridge in the first game seems to be haunted. Voices from a woman asking for help and voices of men that seems to be bandits that raided the house. But when you check if anyone's home, there's no one else but you in there.
when i was a kid i encountered the manimal glitch. it was west of mcfarlands ranch by the bridge, it was a snake women. it creeped me the hell out as a kid and it killed me. i observed it for a while, it was creepy watching a women be contorted into a snake thats in some grass, her head looked like it was constantly twitching
The creek town near the camp in chapter 6 where the America Indian says they are cursed. I believe that the stranger mission and the way they live leads to them to go crazy over time and they turn to nightfolk but thats just an observation. They way the guy said it was darkness was coming idk maybe im comparing something so similar they are in different parts of map
Also ngl im going to hunt down this 3rd metor comb every inch every character every house because if you didnt know you can use dynamite to be able to climb in locked houses that you normally cant enter.

I still haven't played it again to this day but I think I've lost the disc I used to play it so hopefully one day when I replay it, it wont happen again.
Very common glitch, many people had, including me. It made the game almost unplayable.
Bully for sure, you’d bang out a 20-25 minute one better than the ones currently on RUclips with your ability and personality 😊
I’m desperate to see what myths spawn from gta 6. It will be interesting to see how the community evolves again
Can you get big booty girl nekid?!1!
@chandllerburse737myth #2 “GTA6 will receive DLC”
Something new and a fresh you know
I just subbed yesterday after watching the GTA supercut, and now you drop this! This should be fun.
I remember the nightfolk jumping me for the first time.
Out of spite, I left one of them alive, hog tied him and fed him to a crocodile
Something to mention about the strange man is that when he kept saying “this is a fine spot” in rdr1, that same spot eventually became Johns burial site
And abigal
That MatPat reference caught me off guard. Nice video
Finally some good fucking food
and let's not forget that the maniac killing the bigfoot's family was john himself
7:50 (GAVIN)
This seems to have gone over a lot of people's heads, including mine for a while.
Wait.. WHAT LETTER?? THIS IS TRUE???
@@broKen73484you're talking out of your ass. The giant has an american accent, and the game guide mentions checking the letter to figure out whats going on. Strange man channel has a good video on it
@@broKen73484 Called it like I saw it, you saying "no the truth is" then spouting a bunch of nonsense is talking out the ass. Maybe you'd prefer I said spreading misinformation
@@broKen73484 you are wrong though.
If you feel Bully isn't enough, you could always make a general Rockstar Myths and Mysteries video that covers a few more games that haven't already gotten videos for similar reasons?
I'm surprised you didn't talk about the witch on saint denis cemetery mission
I should have expected this video since you did all the gtas but getting this notification actually shocked me
yesss ive been waiting for this video!!! thanks sourcebrew ^_^
To add to the strange man mystery the shop keeper is the only one who will come back with a bandage around his head after a head shot
Red Dead has the best gaming lore
It still amazes me about how many easter eggs and side quests there are.
Fucking love playing as a bigfoot in gta, hope it is a mainstay
I must say it's very cool of you to start including video reference to these topics.
that poor Sasquatch
16:19 this was unexpected/expected and the fact you don’t follow through made it hilarious 😂
funfact about the ufo shack: the cult members all lying in their beds, covered in blankets with the same pair of shoes on is an obvious reference to the heavensgate cult, who all died in their beds, covered in blankets, with the same pair of shoes on. there are pictures of them online
*”Well..uh guess I that’s it…quite a ride huh?”* - *Saul Goodman*
I once saw Gavin's friend in Saint Denis and my horse got spooked by him
I never got into GTA as much as I got into Red Dead Redemption. I love the Western action.
I remember watching that Tats-Tops clip back when it was first uploaded i must have been like 12 and im 23 now😅
It's a go-to at least once a year; it's quality content from a much simpler time
I found a random shack with a single end table, and when I searched the drawer, there was wring carved into it that said, "You'll flourish before you die"
I just found this yesterday 😂 so creepy
It's a cheat code
@user-sz5yv8pk2f yea, I figured that out. Thanks, tho lol
“You eat babies” - John Marston 1911
The creepiest thing i've ever had happen to me in RDR1 is walking through Odd Fellow's Rest. there was a guy crying bent over a grave. I stop and watch for just a moment before a sniper bullet whizzes just over my head and hits the guy.
Wtf? That would’ve made me laugh tbh 😂 It reminds me of the creepy encounters in undead nightmare where someone would be crying hysterically over the body of a loved one and they shoot themselves in the head, but I don’t remember if it happens in the main game
Strange man is death personified .
I've never heard of the donkey lady and then randomly discovered her like 15mins after watching this video. Eerie
Nigel is Gavin
If you go to the Aberdeen Pig Farm, you can find some toys that look identical to the princess' toys which can be found on her luggage in Van Horn. It could be a coincidence, or maybe there is something more to it.
That Bennet grave could be an easter egg to Justified since it takes place in Harlan County in Kentucky and all but 1 member of the Bennet family lives
“You eat babies!”
19:50 I knew he would mention that
I had no doubts of how alive the world in RDR2 seems, but it really opened my eyes learning there are actual train schedules and the train is always moving, always somewhere.
i never saw the donkey woman glitch that was hilarious and i always wondered what that skeleton was now i know it was the great donkey woman
who remembers Tumbleweed being haunted in the first game
The strange man is the physical manifestation of the honor system
I think the biggest mystery is who let the simpleton out of the asylum.
What about the River monster that has audio files but hasn't been found?
It isn't in the game, it's cut content. Rockstar probably couldn't implement it or just thought it was too unreal
“the reaper in his Sunday best”
yo thanks that shoutout to tatstops
why are the nightfolks the only enemy who can instakill you! one hit from that dudes with the machete or knife and youre done! why? i always wondered if theres more to it.
Probably to make you be more worried when traveling to add. It kinda makes them a more scary encounter
They aren’t the only ones the vampire of Saint Denis can one hit you too
@@theriguyayylmao3761 yeah thats true, totally forgot about him
There are many more who can instakill you, the Tumbleweed sheriff for example.
glad you did this my friend
the women ghost that can be found of foggy nights and screams and attacks the player sounds like a nightfolk trap you can encounter in the marshes near saint denis
this world is amazing, and the best thing is myths and legends now actually exist and are not just random stories made by the players, you can play detective and read the newspapers and stuff and most likely you will find something
17:36 The Bigfoot/Sasquatch
My top Easter eggs in GTA 6
1-Seeing Francis sinclare
2-epsilon program
3-UFO/alien
Don't know if you missted it or not but the myth in RDR 1 about the still creek ghost is referenced in RDR 2 with a ghost of the women in swamps showing up at night with better chances at spawning during foggy weather like in the original myth. Unlike the myth, you do not get attack if you approach here. Instead she simply disappears. That said, everytime I see her in game I get attacked by nightfolk so maybe that was Rockstars way of honoring the myth but could just be a coincidence and I'm just very unlucky.
i picked up a metiorite chunk directly off the meteor
Ah I've been waiting for this one!🤘
Crazy Shotgun Hermit guy has to have a story behind that
i know we always meme on "YOU EAT BABIES" but the phrase "oh i will, you foul creature of the night" coming from john is fucking hiliarious
There's so many big and small Easter eggs in RDR2 that tbh I don't believe all of them have been found entirely and even at that if they are then they're still fun af to go back and see, RDR2 just hit every note right in terms of an amazing game!
You forgot about the old abandoned house in tumbleweed on RDR 1. Supposedly haunted
There was also dialogue found in the files that said to take the princess to the sheriff in annesburgh, it was just another side mission like the giant in the cave that was sadly cut from the game,
You forgot my favourite time travel guy
I actually love the Gavin one because I read once that it is a joke by the Rockstar employees. Gavin is apparently an employee who is always late or missing from the office and they added the guy looking for him as a joke.
Was I the only one that found the "my son my beloved son" written in John's barn in the last act of the first game? I assumed it was related to the I know you man.
This video is awesome I can tell a lot of effort was put into it awesome!
With how great rdr2 is, in my book, the series overtook gta. Wrote this directly at the start, so now that I'm into the meat, sick video bro.
My personal headcanon is that the Strange Man decided to bear a resemblance to Trelawny to appear familiar to John.
An abandoned house in Gaptooth Ridge in the first game seems to be haunted. Voices from a woman asking for help and voices of men that seems to be bandits that raided the house. But when you check if anyone's home, there's no one else but you in there.
The strange man is death himself
The strange man, he is the reaper, death comes in many forms and appearances. He will choose how he prefers to present himself to you.
when i was a kid i encountered the manimal glitch. it was west of mcfarlands ranch by the bridge, it was a snake women. it creeped me the hell out as a kid and it killed me. i observed it for a while, it was creepy watching a women be contorted into a snake thats in some grass, her head looked like it was constantly twitching
I heard Gavin was a rockstar employee that was always late😂😂
The creek town near the camp in chapter 6 where the America Indian says they are cursed. I believe that the stranger mission and the way they live leads to them to go crazy over time and they turn to nightfolk but thats just an observation. They way the guy said it was darkness was coming idk maybe im comparing something so similar they are in different parts of map
Also ngl im going to hunt down this 3rd metor comb every inch every character every house because if you didnt know you can use dynamite to be able to climb in locked houses that you normally cant enter.
