Great video, you have my respect for going it at it alone. My clutch is at 198k km currently, been waiting for your video to get the courage to do mine lol. Hopefully I won't run into as many issues since my car isn't as rusty down there but I also don't have the milling machines you have to fix things so fingers crossed. Going by your video, I think you should bleed the gearbox first before taking it out and also mark the bolts and their placement with a marker. Not sure but I think you also don't need to remove the right wheel arm to get to the clutch. Thanks for the video!
it depends how often you drive in the city of course, it could hold much longer, but this car drives 90% city... The gearbox wasbleeded before it went out. The bolts were placed in a paper with drilled holes in it, so good organised. The right wheelarm was detached because of the driveshaft that was removed. Maybe it could be left there, not sure. Second reason it went out was that it was rebuilt then. Thanks for the comment and good luck with your clutch!
Nice video. Respect , you made it all alone. ( heavy gearbox was a problem, as I saw.. ). But next time, use your seatbelt, for the testdrive too. 🙂😉 I have the same Colt, but the facelift model, so thanks for the video. Slowly..I need to replace the clutch too. It has 173.000 km.
Thank you so much. Liked and commented! My trans is loud and the clutch is starting to smell too so I Gotta replace those. I already did oil, filters, and trans oil. But i don't know if I can do this 😅
Fantastically detailed job ...A real credit to you. My 2012 1.3 Colt CZ2 has done 105k miles and clutch is getting close to it's limit of adjustment. Do you know if there is a big difference between the 1.1 and the 1.3 clutch replacement procedure please?
Thank you, like to hear that. I'd say there is nearly no difference to 1.3i, just make sure you buy a clutch kit that has this clutch plate centering tool in it, no idea if the tool is the same like 1.1 engine, for that I left the dimensions in the social part of the channel. Without - will be a bit more difficult. Good luck!
For the air condition, you probably have to refill the system, maybe it blows cold air only if you spin the engine enough and at low revs it just don't have the power, which is normal but not like it blows hot air...
Hi, take a look into the community tab, posted a picture of the measurements taken from the plastic clutch centering tool. That is the easiest way to share it I guess. Just in case, here: ruclips.net/channel/UCECDcfzY9Ai6fKpQwoAKG1Acommunity
Great job, thanks for the fantastic video footage. Tremendous skill.
Thank you very much for watching!

Yeah, it holds pretty long and the car as a whole is good quality build. If zou can change it, it's a great adventure :)

Like to read this, thank you! Well, if zou have the place and some tool, you can.

Do you have to remove the engine mount on the left hand side of the bay or can it be done without?
Can be done without
1.1 Mitsubishi Colt çok güzel bir araba 185 km/h hızla gidebiliyorum.
Fakat klima bazen çok soğuk bazen güçsüz ve sıcak üflüyor durduğuö zamanlarda

@@REBUILDLab yes normal air sometimes. Maybe this is normal because weather too hot 45 degree 😅
👍
Thnx!
Hi!
Could you please provide the dimensions of the clutch plate centering tool, including lengths and diameters?
Yes, I can give it to you later after I'm back from work.
