Thank you sir!! Well done. I have watched dozens of hours of shock building as a race but there isn’t any information on how to dial these features of crawlers. For people that compete and want the most of their vehicles need this stuff.!!!

Ive noticed that the 2660 shocks have a very high damping rate with the stock (included) fluid and Mini T springs. I'm guessing the pistons are intended for bashing and high speed use. To get the equivalent in my Capra shock, I need to run 80 or 90wt! After running the 2660 on my GSpeed rig, I really like the control and predictability of slow damping because the truck gives you plenty of warning before it rolls or flips. Everything seems to happen in slow motion.

Random suggestion of the day. I actually run springs in the front an Full droop in the rear. I have been doin this on my cheater rigs for years and even on steep climbs it tends to work really well. May I suggest you try it. May surprise you how well it can work on the right truck. My latest Gspeed v3 I have Capra shocks with the soft springs on front and custom Traxxas/axial hybrid shock Full droop on the rear and it is amazing

Very helpful content. Subscribed and looking forward to your future videos. Glad you covered shocks in this video. One question I have is what to do about the front shocks unloading on my V3 builds having AR44 and AR45 axles when going up more extreme angles. As you described, I have Traxxas Big Bore 2660 shocks...85mm fronts (5mm internal spacers) and 90mm rears. Using pink/orange Losi Mini-T springs. Currently have 25wt/40wt AE shock oils with minimal rebound. Using modified Big Bore spring cups. 60/40 weight front-to-rear. Many thanks.

It seems like the stock shocks are usually the most reliable and work the best. Ive always slightly relicated the mounting positions to a more crawler type set up. I tbink its ridiculous that only a few companies are manufacturing decent shocks.

TRD , I recently purchased some Dulux fab short shocks 96mm eye to eye plus w/ 1/4" spacers. I've never owned Dulux shocks prior to this, do you know or anyone else know why these shocks are soooo hard like won't compress cleanly up & down, it's like there almost gummy. most all my other shocks I run 50-60 plus wt oil yet with these I'm down to 30wt & I can't get them to move freely up & down its like they stay wherever you compress them at. if I squat my truck they won't move up unless I'm running losi orange springs with like 3 o ring spacers benieth them? these are on my Tgh V3 chassis weighing 6lbs.. I was expecting something unbelievable & to be honest I can't stand them, if anyone can give me some advice or have experienced this with these shocks I'd appreciate it? Thank you
