It would be real interesting to see if you guys can reproduce studio affects as the Beatles like backwards guitar parts etc. Or the effect G Martin got on acoustic guitar as he slowed it down for example "I'm Only Sleeping" or to give the acoustic a more full warmer sound.

Not trying to belittle ANY of the Fab Four (especially Ringo, my favorite), but...you all may have "one-upped" them. Wiki says that an "African drum" was played by Ringo in the original recording, and frankly it sounds almost "OVER-dubbed" in remastered versions. YOUR drummer seamlessly uses the floor tom to make it sound great, and with his "unexpected" hand to boot. I can listen to this version over and over. Excellent work, lads.

I like John's guitar with amazing choice of chord and rhythm, Paule's melodic base playing. Ringo's drums using base tom's impressive sustaining sound. George's smooth vocal and the best chorus by John and Paul.
This is the best play.
I never realized how complex this outstanding song was until hearing just the instruments! It's always been my favorite George song, and of all the ones from "A Hard Day's Night" with its absolute-joy music-lyrics. I don't know why John disliked it, as a "throw-away" and gave it to George to sing lead, but I can't imagine anyone else singing it now! It is, in my view, the best feel-good song (outside of "She Loves You") in the whole film, and isn't that what we love most about these 4 exciting musicians? I have owned the original 45 since Aug. 1964 (#95, one week on the Billboard Hot 100), wore the grooves down to almost nothing, and maybe that is why I have this emotional attachment to my first Beatles record. Miss you forever, John and George, and I wish you are always rocking up there with the others (ex, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, etc.) who have gone before you!

There’s a weird yet consistent reference of a bass lick that’s in a couple Beatles songs. The lick that’s played after the lyric “Tell Me-“ in Do You Want To Know a Secret” is mimicked in Till There Was You as well as this song. If you know what I’m talking about, good for you.

This is a relatively rare occasion in which the rhythm guitar is more pronounced than the lead guitar. Another example of that happening is in the song "All My Loving", where John essentially plays lead for most of the song, while Harrison essentially plays rhythm......the only difference is that in "All My Loving", Harrison has a guitar solo, at which point Lennon switches to rhythm. Once the guitar solo is over (in "All My Loving"), John goes back to lead and Harrison back to rhythm. In this song "I'm Happy Just to Dance With You"), Lennon basically plays lead while Harrison strums the rhythm chords throughout the entire song.
There isn’t really a lead part in this song. Just two rhythm parts.

Never ever disappointed with the work that you guys put out here. So impressed at how you go that extra mile, to try and recreate the conditions, whether it be mic type, deadening a particular drum, or matching the exact instruments, in order to mimic the recording sessions from way back then, and capture the sound perfectly. It really pays off, and of all of the Beatle reproductions that I have seen on RUclips, this one really goes above and beyond anything else. Well done lads.......Everyone should have a look at your "How to record and sound like the Beatles" video, just to see how in-depth and thorough your process is.
Put that sound into a live show, and you'll more than equal shows like "The Fab Four" and "Rain", who I consider to be the two best out there, by far, at the moment. The attention to details is excellent. I did this same type of show way back in the 80's, and we were the same - picking each song apart, note by note. Would love to see you do Long Tall Sally, and look for George's boo boo at the start of the second solo - the little sharp note. And with Day Tripper, when it comes out of the solo, and they start singing the last verse, listen for the dropped/muted note during the main riff, in the recording. Little anal things like that, was how we picked them apart, and I am seeing exactly the same thing with you guys. Amazing job, and keep em coming!!!! Cheers lads.

i can't play this song the same way that these guys can AND i haven't been able to get my paws on the precise exact same expensive original beatles 1960's instruments that these lads have as i am quite poor. BUT i can play this song on both my Mini Squire Fender Stratocaster Electric guitar AND on my Ukulele and on my Electric Ukulele IN the exact same key as the original BUT with DIFFERENT but very simple A minor, D minor , E major, F major , G major, C major A minor and E minor chords BUT with a CAPO on the 4TH FRET which means i transpose everything 4 semitones down so that i interchange between A minor and C major key chord shapes but am still able to play along with the original record and backing track ! I have also figured out how to do John Lennon's PRECISE exact same RHYTHM guitar strumming pattern that john Lennon does when i play this song on my little ukulele ! great fun ! lol :)
I also am practicing that strum on my ukulele, it’s really fun! It’s a little weird to figure out what to do for the 6 chords though. I’m playing them really high up but at least it sounds cool.

In 1964 Rickenbacker gave George a 360/12 which is the instrument seen in A Hard Day's Night, it remains the property of his estate.
The following year B Sharp Music gave him a second 360/12, this time the revised shape, which was subsequently lost.
He had 2 360/12s, the 2nd one got stolen
