    the double sleeves are a pretty unique feature to the #4 aren't they? Have you tried little round seeds like brassicas in it? Do they feed well?

      Sorry for the late response Oxbow, been dealing with a septic tank backup (life in the country lol). I've not tried the #4 with brassica seed, I did try soybeans and yellow bush beans (I had extra) before the snow came. The sleeves can be finicky, I can see why people prefer the 300's with the seed wheel/plate. I was able to consistently 2-3 seeds per "opening of the hatch" (hill mode). I have seen suggestions of putting it in drill mode (hatch open all the time). I'll have to do more experimentation during the spring (hope its coming soon!).
